Was there for Mecum auction. Place needs upgrades. But people that work there are friendly
Drove almost 10 hours to be at the 39th 4 Wheel Jamboree. We came specifically to see Dennis Anderson (of Grave Digger fame). Everyone was very nice and the place seemed well maintained. Lots of tricked out vehicles. All in all we had a good time.
I'm here for the Mecum auction everything is fine..
Nice place to take the family. Work there a year ago
state fair is alot of fun! but 13$ a ticket us a little too much.
This place is fun But not sure if this is the place for little kids considering the crowds It draws sometimes
it was a great place to go with the family or a couple..food is great prices are high..but good food.
Had a ton of fun this year seeing my favorite childhood band Hanson!!! Lots of awesome memories made!
I always enjoy my time at this place! There is always something going on here.
It was fun but packed. I have been going to the fair for as long as I can remember and still love it!
Hosts many events. Parking can be a little far away from venues at times depending on what building you are going to. State Fair is always fun, but can be expensive for families. Recommend going on $2 Tuesdays, but this is also the most crowded nights. Parking is not free, and attendants can be rude at times when directing traffic.
Love the state fair. This year the lemonade shake ups were hardly anything other than water, and the prices are getting outta hand!
The roads to get there are from a 3rd world country!! But once you get there, it's big, lots of parking!
While visiting this last week at night the entire horse track is covered in red marker lights in preparation of xmas light exhibits soon for the public to enjoy!!!
There is always something going on at the fairgrounds! Always clean and plenty of people around if you need help.
Always enjoy the Flower and Patio show. People are always friendly. A great way to welcome spring.
Went for a hockey game, had fun just thought the $8 parking fee seemed high. The distance between the handicap parking and the venue was pretty far. I seen shuttles but none neat the handicap area.
Look forward to the fair every year. Plenty of events year round.
2018 Step Right Up was a delightful theme and atmosphere. We loved the free circus! Great entertainment throughout. The shuttle is the way to get around. The best parts are the farm exhibits, history, and the animals!
Favorite food for me: Ribeye sandwich
Liked going to the fair. Did several 5ks here also, fun times. So many awesome venues come to the fair grounds, well maintained.
Expensive, had to pay for parking and the RV's were over priced.
The deep fried sugar cream pie was amazing. Maple bacon, BBQ bacon, fried cheese curds, hand dipped corn dogs. Can't go wrong.
Don't know why this popped up on my as being there today ?? I haven't been there since the State Fair was here back in August.
This was my very first state fair! Oh my the corn on the cob and all the variety of food and rides for the kids and it was fun! Didn't expect for it to take all day but I am sure I didn't get to see everything!
Love the Indiana state fair best one I've ever been to
Christmas lights at the fairgrounds are spectacular and synchronized to music. A beautiful drive thru! I've already been twice this year! Love it!
State fair is always the bomb they have lots of events all the time!
We were at the Indianapolis Home Show. We go every year. Lots of fun and we are able to come home with some great ideas to use around our own home.
Great shows but fairgrounds over charges for parking. Absolutely no reason parking should be more expensive than downtown.
I have always had fun at the fair. I always like to get a henna tattoo before going home.
So many great events are hosted here! Year round family activities
Well organized, prices have went up. Great variety of food but not so much with the rides. Same old same old
Longest line for lights ever and no way out once committed
Great to have the Hoosier 100 (USAC Sprint cars) event on Aug 23, 2020. Everyone in attendance did their part to practice social distancing and follow mask wearing guidelines. The event was a great success! There was also a visit from the Indy Vintage Racing Club with a few hot laps and racing history was on display!
We had a great time at the Pepsi coliseum. It was 8$ to park but it's super easy in and out so it's totally worth it. Much easier than trying to find parking downtown. The arena is very easy to get to and get around as it's not as big as the venues downtown. Good concessions and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We purchased tickets there and that was easy and quick. I had to make some last minute changes to our tickets and the very nice ticketing agent was extremely helpful in getting the changes done. The facility was built in 1939 but the entire venue has been updated just a few years ago so everything is nice and modern. I will go back for sure.
Parking lot was pure mud besides that great experience
Great place for not only the state Fair, but also a great place for other events as well.
Love the Aria, absolutely hate walking lol. That's a personal problem though
Had a great time! The circus was a great addition to the state fair!
I'm so glad the business leaders updated the coliseum. We had a great time ice skating and keeping the Pepsi logo is nostalgic. Hopefully it will be a mainstay.
It was good for the first time? The concession stands prices was Hi!!
The state Fair is always a great time for all ages.
There's almost always something to do at the fairgrounds!
Never disappoints, the gate 16 driver even dropped us off at our cars!
