As a vendor, it was awful. They charged me $500 for an artist booth and put me by authors, in a corner that many people didn't even know existed. crippling my potential for sales. They were unwilling to refund even a portion of my money for THEIR mistake. They said they would give me the right space "next time". There is no next time for me.

PS the most anyone are willing to spend per booth is between $5-$20, which did not work in my favor trying to sell my art ranging from $35-$140.

IBE, I would strongly suggest you all provide better 'signs' and directions for people. I volunteered at IBE this year for my company, and so many people asked questions of where things were located. At the convention center, there were not any paper guides available and no signage. Many people were confused and lost and did not know where to find certain exhibits. Not everyone goes online to search for info. A lot of people still need to see a 'clear signs' or a handout/guide of where things or areas are located in the convention center. It really seemed very unorganized. This would be my suggestion for you all. Otherwise, I realize IBE offers some great opportunities for African-Americans and other minorities. Thanks.
