Really great space with well maintained apple trees and property, surrounded by the beautiful Indian ladder view. We went here for pick your own apples as it was one of the few around that is close to being organic with integrated pest management practices and to top that off has a land conservation. It was a great afternoon picking apples, though if it busy. Looking forward to going back at a less busy time to check out the brewery.

We have wanted to go here for a while now. The cider was good, but it was very crowded. There were also a lot of bees and flies which made hanging out at the tables outside not that pleasant.

Had a great day out with friends and the scenery was beautiful, but there were some issues.
I wasn't a fan of the 2 bag pick-your-own discount, as my husband and I were with friends and we would have paid separately for bags of apples had there not been an upcharge on 1 bag purchases. We all had to scramble to figure out how to logistically pay together.
After picking apples, we went to the brew pub. We got drinks while we waited for a table. The hard cider and beer had a good initial taste, but after a few sips in, it began to taste watery and flavorless.
We were then seated at a dining table relatively quickly, but we had to wait about 20 minutes to receive menus. We noticed also that the pub was already out of 5 menu items, even though it was only about the beginning of lunchtime at 12:30. Once we ordered, we had to wait another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. The portions were small for the prices, and even though we said to the waitress that we were going to share everything, we received two plastic forks for four people. When it came time to pay the bill and our table had been completely bussed, another 20 minutes passed and the waitress didn't come back to pick up my credit card. I flagged down a different staff member and gave the bill folder with my card to her. I then watched as the staff member gave the bill folder to another staff member, who disappeared with it and never came back. After a while, our waitress returned and I told her I paid and never got my card back. It turns out, no one checked the bill folder and put it back on the stack of empties while it still held my card. I did get my card back eventually, but the overall timing and service at lunch made it very long and frustrating.

I just cut the apple pie I bought today and found a RAW CRUST. Box #217 from their bakery. Just awful. EDIT: The cupcakes we bought were at least 2 days old! $3.50 ea. Yuck. They should be ashamed. Seriously.
Don't bother with their overpriced cafe either. The food was not that good and hard to enjoy with off-brand cola and waving fleas away.
A woman I talked with in the barn laughed with me and agreed: Lakeside Farms is best, Bowman's a distant second.
Never going back here.

I went there with friends on a Friday. We met for lunch in the cafe and were the second party to be seated. It took an hour to get our food and two of the orders were wrong. By the time they got back with my friend's sandwich (that did not need to be cooked FYI) we were done eating. The waiter was friendly but not helpful and disappeared. A waitress gave us our check and she was rude. No one asked how the meal was or asked if we wanted to wrap our food. I ordered the burger which was overcooked and TERRIBLE. I didn't even have the option to send it back since no one would wait on us. We were never offered more water either. The cafe is over priced for terrible service and food. I'll never eat there again!

This place has so much to offer, from fall apples to summer berries (pick your own blueberries and raspberries has gone big time here), from farm animal encounters for kids to the cidery for grown-ups, a great gift shop/bakery/cafe and gorgeous vistas.

Terribly crowded but so much to see and do. Animals are fun for kids (bring quarters for feed), drinks are fun for adults. Apples are great for picking, good pumpkin selection also Sometimes they have pony rides. Expect long lines for donuts.

This place has grown into something for everyone from animals for the kids to cider and beer for the adults. The outdoor and indoor bar is a great place to hang out and the beers and ciders are good, but a on the pricey side.

The farm itself was pretty decent, but I do have a few complaints:

I felt as though the organization/labels within the fields could have been better, it was difficult to figure out where the different regions of apples were while we were out there picking them. I certainly did not have an apple taxonomical identification chart on my person (which sane person would) so they all looked like, well, apples. It would have been a lot better if there were clear indications for where the various types were.

Beyond that, the apple cinnamon donuts were great and pretty cheap (I believe the pricing was 2 for $2 and $8.50 for a dozen).

Apple picking was a lot of fun. They make it very easy to navigate with small children. The cider donuts are nothing short of amazing, and we enjoyed the nice little play area while we ate!

Went on a Saturday which was very busy as expected during the season. Went to pick pumpkins this time around but will be back to pick apples. The prices are very fair and are based off of the size of your pumpkin not by weight like other places do. There was a nice variety to choose from in the field, little ones for painting and larger ones for carving. The line for cider donuts was long but I'm sure it was worth the wait. I will be returning to check out the apple picking and donuts in the near future. Very family friendly with people of all ages participating. Best part was seeing the excitement of the kids as they found their perfect pumpkins! Definitely recommend if you are looking to do some fall activities. The views are amazing as well!

*They do accept card payments, minimum of $5*

This place has overgrown itself. Pumpkins and apples were great quality and well priced.

Seating, wait times, front management for the food area was very bad. Handling of the drinks was horrible, an outdoor bar with about 1/4 menu, inside tasting/bar for full menu, I'd suggest splitting tasting and take out with in house and servers (law dependent).

Staff ranged from good to one of the worst attitudes on a bartender I've ever seen.

The house beers were below average, the "guest" beer (noodle ninja) was very good. The pork on the tacos just came from the smoker and was awesome, the slaw was also excellent.

Walking in you wouldn t think much of it with roughly 10 tables. After 10 of waiting for a seat, the food was well worth the wait. They have a great variety of food and they mainly use fresh local ingredients. I ended up getting the Indian ladder breakfast sliders and the breakfast burrito. Both of which is highly recommended. If I had one bit of constructive criticism it would be to cook the eggs to order on the sliders. Over medium would have been better the scrambled.
