Great selection of apples. Doughnuts are out of this world!
Great selection of apples. Doughnuts are out of this world!
Over the yrs they should have figured out a better method of selling the apple cider doughnuts, no one wants to stand in a line almost an hr for 12 doughnuts.
They have it all here, animals for the kids and beer for the adults. Can't ask for much more.
Hard Cider, Traditional Donuts, Gifts, Apple Picking, Music and good food in a farming environment.
Favorite local place for apples, cider, and donuts...mmmmm sooo good
Great place. A must. One of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Great place for kids and adults alike. Be sure to try the new tasting room
The kids are loving this place, they have couples of animals, and in first place is an orchard
Really great space with well maintained apple trees and property, surrounded by the beautiful Indian ladder view. We went here for pick your own apples as it was one of the few around that is close to being organic with integrated pest management practices and to top that off has a land conservation. It was a great afternoon picking apples, though if it busy. Looking forward to going back at a less busy time to check out the brewery.
Great apples and the donuts and hot cider were perfect! Lots of trails to go walking and and great stuff for sale. Friendly staff.
The apples and donuts are delicious and the prices are very reasonable
We have wanted to go here for a while now. The cider was good, but it was very crowded. There were also a lot of bees and flies which made hanging out at the tables outside not that pleasant.
Indian ladder farms - such a nice view and tasty treats! Can t wait for the bbq smoker to get up and running.. :)
Been going every year since I could remember and wouldnt go anywhere else! Love it here. Beautiful grounds, delicious apples cider and donuts, and amazing atmosphere.
Pretty cool they added a biergarden. Service was a little disorganized. But otherwise pretty nice set up.
Had a great day out with friends and the scenery was beautiful, but there were some issues.
I wasn't a fan of the 2 bag pick-your-own discount, as my husband and I were with friends and we would have paid separately for bags of apples had there not been an upcharge on 1 bag purchases. We all had to scramble to figure out how to logistically pay together.
After picking apples, we went to the brew pub. We got drinks while we waited for a table. The hard cider and beer had a good initial taste, but after a few sips in, it began to taste watery and flavorless.
We were then seated at a dining table relatively quickly, but we had to wait about 20 minutes to receive menus. We noticed also that the pub was already out of 5 menu items, even though it was only about the beginning of lunchtime at 12:30. Once we ordered, we had to wait another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. The portions were small for the prices, and even though we said to the waitress that we were going to share everything, we received two plastic forks for four people. When it came time to pay the bill and our table had been completely bussed, another 20 minutes passed and the waitress didn't come back to pick up my credit card. I flagged down a different staff member and gave the bill folder with my card to her. I then watched as the staff member gave the bill folder to another staff member, who disappeared with it and never came back. After a while, our waitress returned and I told her I paid and never got my card back. It turns out, no one checked the bill folder and put it back on the stack of empties while it still held my card. I did get my card back eventually, but the overall timing and service at lunch made it very long and frustrating.
Great fun, hand pick apples, eat cider doughnuts, and pet a Scottish Highland cow. Also craft ciders and gift shop.
Apple picking season is upon us. Very pleased with the apples and the walk is super easy. Great selection of apples and the trees are super healthy.
I just cut the apple pie I bought today and found a RAW CRUST. Box #217 from their bakery. Just awful. EDIT: The cupcakes we bought were at least 2 days old! $3.50 ea. Yuck. They should be ashamed. Seriously.
Don't bother with their overpriced cafe either. The food was not that good and hard to enjoy with off-brand cola and waving fleas away.
A woman I talked with in the barn laughed with me and agreed: Lakeside Farms is best, Bowman's a distant second.
Never going back here.
this farm is awesome, Besides the orchard the food is great and the beer and hard cider are great
Had really good time with my children there.. pick out some really good Apple's which is very juicy and pumpkins
The apple cider donuts are some of the best I've ever had! They are always super fresh, and they serve them to you still warm!
Over priced. A bit crowded. Tasty apples. A pretty good time when surrounded by good people. Hay rides should be free honestly, like the good old days.
They have a petting zoo and feeding area...very kid friendly
Awesome choice of apples, delicious cider doughnuts and beautiful scenery
Fresh baked goods raw honey various sizes and makes helpful counter people and appropriate distancing and masks
Great place to visit. Pick apples, cider donuts, fall foods and crafts for . Lots of parking and a selection of beer and wine
ALWAYS,ALWAYS THE BEST OF TIMES HERE, LONG LINE FOR DOUGHNUTS BUT OH SOOOOOO WORTH IT !! Piping hot
Great atmosphere! Nice outdoor and indoor experience!
Good breakfast food and sandwiches. The cider doughnuts are nice too.
Wish more variety of apples were available but it was still packed and lines wrapped around the building just for donuts and cider.
I went there with friends on a Friday. We met for lunch in the cafe and were the second party to be seated. It took an hour to get our food and two of the orders were wrong. By the time they got back with my friend's sandwich (that did not need to be cooked FYI) we were done eating. The waiter was friendly but not helpful and disappeared. A waitress gave us our check and she was rude. No one asked how the meal was or asked if we wanted to wrap our food. I ordered the burger which was overcooked and TERRIBLE. I didn't even have the option to send it back since no one would wait on us. We were never offered more water either. The cafe is over priced for terrible service and food. I'll never eat there again!
Always busy and fun on a Fall afternoon. The bonus was the band playing, the Bluestones were fantastic!
Great to take family for outdoor adventure. Good food, good beer/cider, great donuts.
Thier cider anf donuts are amazing!!!!! I always have a great time with my family here.
This place has so much to offer, from fall apples to summer berries (pick your own blueberries and raspberries has gone big time here), from farm animal encounters for kids to the cidery for grown-ups, a great gift shop/bakery/cafe and gorgeous vistas.
Great out of the way place to go and pick fruit, see animals and have lunch. I only wish the play ground was better for kids.
Terribly crowded but so much to see and do. Animals are fun for kids (bring quarters for feed), drinks are fun for adults. Apples are great for picking, good pumpkin selection also Sometimes they have pony rides. Expect long lines for donuts.
The best cider and donuts. Great place for the fall.
Good Cider and beer. Not too crowded and good music.
We love Indian Ladder. And love them more now that they are making cider! I dont even want to think about the insanity to come this fall though. It's already very busy on autumn weekends but those cracktastic donuts..mmmm. do-nuts...
Great memorable apple picking experience will be back next year very knowledgeable and friendly staff
Great venue. Beautiful views, nice cafe, and wonderful people working here.
Quaint cidery and brewery with tart ciders of fun flavors. Friendly staff
Go here. Grab a beer and some sweets and enjoy the country side.
We loved it there! The animals were so nice and cute! And the food was delicious!
Been going aplle picking here since I was a baby Best place in the area
Nice place, and good food. Love there apples. We went there for the baby animal showing for my great granddaughter and granddaughter.
We go every year for the apples and other functions.
This place has grown into something for everyone from animals for the kids to cider and beer for the adults. The outdoor and indoor bar is a great place to hang out and the beers and ciders are good, but a on the pricey side.
Great for families. We like to walk around and grab a beer after to cool down. It's not the best beer but it's quaint and relaxing
Good! Just got there to late to pick our own apples. That part closes at 430pm.
Good variety of apples and fall pastries and treats. Be aware of extremely long lines for cider donuts though.
We went to see the baby animals and had a terrific time. Many animals to see and a great place to eat and relax.
Family and adult friendly. Beautiful beer garden with beer and cider. Tasty food and bakery items. Amazing apple cider donuts. Hayrides and petting zoo for kiddos.
Was great. People were friendly and cider, donuts, apples were awesome
Great place to pick Apple's love the atmosphere feel like your back in time lots of stuff
The farm itself was pretty decent, but I do have a few complaints:
I felt as though the organization/labels within the fields could have been better, it was difficult to figure out where the different regions of apples were while we were out there picking them. I certainly did not have an apple taxonomical identification chart on my person (which sane person would) so they all looked like, well, apples. It would have been a lot better if there were clear indications for where the various types were.
Beyond that, the apple cinnamon donuts were great and pretty cheap (I believe the pricing was 2 for $2 and $8.50 for a dozen).
The best place to go with the family! AMAZING gift shop and brewery as well
Apple picking was a lot of fun. They make it very easy to navigate with small children. The cider donuts are nothing short of amazing, and we enjoyed the nice little play area while we ate!
Went on a Saturday which was very busy as expected during the season. Went to pick pumpkins this time around but will be back to pick apples. The prices are very fair and are based off of the size of your pumpkin not by weight like other places do. There was a nice variety to choose from in the field, little ones for painting and larger ones for carving. The line for cider donuts was long but I'm sure it was worth the wait. I will be returning to check out the apple picking and donuts in the near future. Very family friendly with people of all ages participating. Best part was seeing the excitement of the kids as they found their perfect pumpkins! Definitely recommend if you are looking to do some fall activities. The views are amazing as well!
*They do accept card payments, minimum of $5*
This place has overgrown itself. Pumpkins and apples were great quality and well priced.
Seating, wait times, front management for the food area was very bad. Handling of the drinks was horrible, an outdoor bar with about 1/4 menu, inside tasting/bar for full menu, I'd suggest splitting tasting and take out with in house and servers (law dependent).
Staff ranged from good to one of the worst attitudes on a bartender I've ever seen.
The house beers were below average, the "guest" beer (noodle ninja) was very good. The pork on the tacos just came from the smoker and was awesome, the slaw was also excellent.
Walking in you wouldn t think much of it with roughly 10 tables. After 10 of waiting for a seat, the food was well worth the wait. They have a great variety of food and they mainly use fresh local ingredients. I ended up getting the Indian ladder breakfast sliders and the breakfast burrito. Both of which is highly recommended. If I had one bit of constructive criticism it would be to cook the eggs to order on the sliders. Over medium would have been better the scrambled.
Great visit...such friendly people. A great shop inside with quality goods and a wonderful orchard for apple picking.
a childhood tradition & favorite that never disappoints. apple picking, petting zoo, pumpkins, and the best apple cider & cider donuts around. I'll recommend indian ladder ten times out of ten, even if it is getting pricey.
Got our apples, donuts, and cider. Great atmosphere and my cousin is one of the head brewers at the brewery there.
Lots of bees and flys, including inside the cafe. Food was good but expensive. Better cider donuts than most
Service was so slow with only two waitresses.
Well, we started out to just enjoy the day and Indian Ladder Farms just made it great. We picked apples and bought some great Apple butter on a beautiful day. Thanks for the great experience with nice people. would do it again.
