Today was the final straw for my family and I. We came at the Indian ladder farm today because my kids love coming here to see the animals, the cider donuts, muffins, strawberry turnover and so on We arrive at 11:00 Am the kids had the time to visit the animals and play around for about 30 minutes, after that; we headed to the store to buy some Donuts, Muffins, Apples/Strawberries turnover, Honey and BBQ Sauce, as we were leaving my husband asked the lady at the register when was the bar serving food/lunch, She responds 12:00 pm so we walked down the bar and went inside to order some of their apple cider sample and the bartender was there with a friend or maybe another co-worker with dreadlocks, having a drink, they told us only at 12:00 pm they ll open/serve drink or food. I ve asked him since it is only 15 minutes before they are open can my family and I seat down and wait for food and drink while we enjoyed our donuts, he replied go head. We sat down and eat our donuts while the two waitress were putting napkin and sauces at the tables, not once they even knowledge we were humans and seating down at the table, and after that one of them brought the napkin basket and just put it down our table without even a Hi or nothing. At that time it was 12:15 pm and we were still the only people around, my husband went then inside and order some apple cider sample and brought its to our table just then one couple with their 2 teenager arrived, and a group of 2 young couples, and a senor couple came in and sat down, we sat there and looked at the waitress came and geed and talked to each of those people and give them menu but still not a word to us with a 4 year old and a 18 months babies arriving there first since the place was empty, and there is not an excuse they couldn t see us because the couple with the teens were seating a foot from us and arrived 25 minutes after us and they were having lunch while my babies seat there and watch them eat and my 4 year old asking me: Why no one is coming to take our order mommy. Why those peoples eating and we have been seating here waiting before they arrived. It break my heart thousand pieces because we have been coming at this place for 11 years now way before they were even born and as mixed couple we ve been experience weird stuff at the store and at the bar but that doesn t stop you for living or go out because they will always be people that are going to make you feel uncomfortable or says things once you turned your back but we really didn t care but when it come to my babies, this is wrong and borderline racist, there is no other words for it.
Before we left after seating there for exactly 1 hour and 20 minutes, I went inside the bar and let one off the lady so she knows that we ve been seating there with our baby and none of the waitress bother, to even asked if we wanted food or drink after they pass us 100 times back and forth like we didn t even exist.
She told me it was a misunderstanding and run to try to get the waitress to serve us but I say no and we left. After we get in our car and drive by the same waitress standing there talking and laughing with the 2 young couples.

Staff us very helpful, the apple picking is fun, and the cider and doughnuts are well worth the wait! I usually come here for the renaissance faire so this was a new experience but equally enjoyable. I will definitely be back again.

It's a really nice little farm, been going here since I was a kid. I appreciate that they take good care of their animals and I like the cider donuts the best. Great place to go in the fall.

A fun place to visit! We stopped for lunch and though it was busy we got a seat and were served quickly. Lots of fun things to look at in the store and there seemed to be lots of outdoor activities. I'll have to go back another time when I can stay for awhile!

Coolest brew pub with AMAZING food!
Came in for a post thanksgiving meal and craft beer and was instantly in love. It's a cozy and hip space with great local microbrews. Staff is super sweet and the overall experience was top notch. Will be back for live music.

What a great family place. I've been here several times, picking apples and standing in line for their fresh cider donuts...And now they brew beer! I believe they also have collaborated with Ninepin, to make a few hard ciders. This place is a great treat, from the loaded country store and apple picking, to the hop vines and good brew.

Amazing place mom took me sense about 10! Fresh off the tree apples, apple cider is the best here, old time candy, cafe, feeding animals, October is best for its amazing view of mountain landscape of gorgeous fall colors. Parking is bad during autumn season ,come early, fall is peek time for visiting. My opinion: best place to go on your fall outing. Enjoy

I've been going here since I was a kid. Every year they get a little busier but they've found ways to work through it. With COVID, the store has a limit and they're sticking to it, but they opened a tent with some of the popular items from the store so that people can be in both places. The food is always great and it's a fun family day with a gorgeous backdrop.

So much to do, so much to eat! The orchards are awesome and apple picking is always fun here. The cafe is superb (and keeps us going back for more visits). The gift shop has an amazing selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, ciders, honeys, jams, pastries/baked goods, tea, coffees, and candies. Last (and certainly not least), their famous Apple Cider Donuts are delicious and the best reason to visit Indian Ladder Farms!!

Had a really good time here. The people are really friendly and helpful. The place is huge with lots of varieties of apple to pick. We went on a Saturday and the place was packed. the line to get in the store was CRAZY long. We opted to skip that part and picked up our cider from Hannaford on Western turnpike they sell it there in gallons. We will likely be back again. I think we will try to go during the week next time to avoid the line

Normally a really great place to go, but essentially all of the apples have been picked already at the open pick-your-own trees and the line for the cider doughnuts was over 40 minutes long. It was a Sunday so that was definitely a factor for the line, but still seems like they could be doing something differently.

This review is for the brewery and cidery that ILF apparently threw together overnight, or that's what it looked and felt like anyway. I was very disappointed in the ambiance and the drinks. I felt like I was in a frat house basement with the cheap party lights hanging above some tables and the mixed bag of music that ranged from 70's punk to a full orchestra. I wasn't impressed by the two drinks I got either. There doesn't seem to be a flagship drink, a solid cider or beer that can carry the brand. It was all very eclectic with drinks such as the orange and chocolate stout and sour ales. I ordered the most normal sounding cider; The Seckel Solution, which turned out to be too tart and too dry, borderline sour. Not green apple sour. Spoiled sour. After that, I tried to recover with the Dr. Paul Matthews IPA, which was worse. It was so dank it tasted like a skunk rolled around in marijuana. I should've known it was going to taste bad when I read it was a collaboration with C.H. Evans Brewing (Albany Pump Station). C.H. Evans beer is undrinkable beer in my opinion. They need to go back to beer school. Anyway, the IPA was very off-putting and I seriously thought I was going to have a stomachache from drinking it. Behind the bar is very unkempt and messy with exposed plumbing, pitchers set up to catch dripping taps, papers and misc. crap just laying around. I know this place is new and they're still tying up loose ends and everything but maybe a couple more months of planning and money put into the place would have served it better. It all looks very thrown together. It needs some direction as to what it is going to be because it is cheap looking. I write this review because I was embarrassed when my friends arrived and saw what I'd been "raving" about. I had been telling them we needed to check out ILF brewery, expecting a rustic atmosphere and tasty craft beer. What we got was bad beer in a dark basement with crappy music. Let me know when your "tasting room" doesn't feel like a frat house basement. Otherwise, I won't be back. Sorry for the harsh review but that was hands down the worst brewery experience I've ever had.

There's so much to do at Indian Ladder farms! Whether you want to pick berries during the summer, or apples and pumpkins during the fall, they've got you covered! You can also stop by their cafe afterwards to get a bite to eat, and they also have so many fun items for sale in their gift shop. The cider donuts are also AMAZING! Grab some donuts and head outside to the little farm animal petting "zoo" and giant sandbox--your kids will love it! Prices aren't too bad either. Seriously go visit this place. You'll have a great time!

We love Indian Ladder. We were just there for raspberry picking. They have red and black! Pick your own is always well kept and super easy with little ones. They have a really nice pick-your-own line that you can call to check what is available. Staff is helpful and friendly. The cafe is great and the shop as so many great options. Hands down our favorite cider donuts in the area!! They are pretty busy so plan some extra time for that, but it's always great!

Great apple picking as usual, and the best cider donuts.

My only complaint is since they added the brewery section the layout is awkward at best and parking is even more of a nightmare to just go apple picking or stop and grab some donuts.

On the plus side the beer and hard cider they carry is fantastic!

Went to the Biergarten for dinner and drinks. Everything was great!! Only negative was watching a girl cleaning the tables and deliberately spraying the bees with the cleaner. Lost a star for that reason only. #probees
