worst food ever, worst service, terrible with schedules one week on friday then in two weeks on wednesday, by the time someone gets home it has thawd. The regular diet food has no salt, no taste, sometimes 70% of the 10 meals is weird sauces, either too much tex-mex, chili, spicy, full of overly sweet or overly pineapple flavor or overly tangy,,, and most with no protein/ meat,, or most breaded-so bad tasting; not cooked correctly,, sometimes 40 % breakfast meals- If person at home that relies on meals mostly gets breakfast meals and no lunch or dinner items, what r they to do,, eat a brekfast meal or eat cereal or a sandwich-this place is out of control/ horrible.

Their slogan doesnt lie! These meals are super tasty and healthy. Love the variety of different cuisines they offer from, Cuban, to Italian to even Indian and they always come with at least a side of vegetables. I honestly don't understand why all the bad reviews on here, I highly recommend them.

This place is Horrible with patients. Stay Away From This Company!! Extremely Rude. Research Before You Purchase From Independent Living System. There's A Few Company's That Give You Better Service. Trust Me If It's Up To Them You Will Die!! Thank Me Later..

I just received 2 boxes for my elderly parents, i tried the food and it was decent good.

I have now spent over 45 minutes speaking with the most immature and low intelligence operators imaginable. I'm trying to report property damage that one of your delivery trucks did to our association lawn and curb markers. It is beyond me how a business of your size, is staffed exclusively by a collection of idiots and people who lie, or are dumber than I believe them to be. We will find out who your registered agent is in Fl. and sue you in Palm Beach Cty. small claims court. I explained to someone 10 people ago that your truck with the company ID, license plate Etc. is on our surveillance cameras committing the damage.I'm leaving one star or I can't leave my review. You should have a minus rating. .

Entirely far too much Sodium for the elderly. Also the shipment are too fast. I know of no Senior which that much freezer space. Also, High sodium intake can increase your risk of developing high blood pressure and heart disease. ... Restaurant, processed, and prepackaged foods like frozen meals account for more than 75 percent of the sodium that Americans eat.

I take 23 medications the majority of which require that they be taken with food but because the lazy didn't want to do her job customer service reps didn't want to didn't bother to expedite when they had a chance instead making the excuse that they only have packages picked up one day of the week and that's on Tuesdays to CarePlus which they swallowed Hook line and sinker like the lemmings they are to
Ihave now been forced for 4 days now to just drink water my stomach is distended I'm in excruciating pain and nobody cares don't use Humana or CarePlus you could end up dying

I'm afraid I must agree with Richard PereZ, who already filed a review... .going on taste alone, the food is terrible. I gave it 1 star just so that this would get posted! One meal was so bad that I could only eat the diced potatoes....AND THEY WERE STILL HALF FROZEN!! i WENT 2 DAYS:NO FOOD!

Im not real sure why people are having issues with the meals. I just got 2 shipments wich im assuming this is done to make sure you have enough meals to last for a while because i haven't received any more shipments yet since the 2nd one. I have eaten 2 of these meals so far and found them to be of great taste (at least the ones im receiving) theres no salt on any of them but nothing i cant fix with a little Ms. Dash and the vegetables are awesome. All in all I'd say im having a much better experience with them. Im truly sorry that others are not happy with them and i truly hope they find a better solution soon.

The ILS Meals are horrible I cannot imagine anyone that would that garbage very unhealthy and full of toxic ingredients and GMO. A garbage company selling garbage meals to seniors.
