Admission to Impression 5 isn't cheap but we were able to spend a couple of hours playing with friends and experimenting, so overall it was worth the cost. It was VERY BUSY, and there was not a lot of staff walking around helping to keep kids under control, so at times it was a little overwhelming for my 6yo.

Terrific hands-on science museum that's as fun as it is educational. Has a lot to offer kids of all ages, including toddlers, and is entertaining for adults as well. I'm really glad that Lansing has a museum like this.

Not a 4 hotel yet clean & close to other restaurants besides the hotel lounge. Plus close to a Meijer, movie theaters, Sams, & highway 96 E&W access. Can handle/cater small to large groups w/adequate A/C.

We've had a membership for 3 years and we go at least twice a month. My daughter is 3 years old and every visit is an adventure, whether just hanging out in the first impression room, playing with bubbles, or launching various projectiles.

Always a great place to take my two grandsons who are under four. They love the water play area and the many other fun places for them to play. Plenty to amuse adults as well. Just a great place.

A wonderful museum for children. The hall with visualization of acceleration, collision and decay of particles was especially remembered. Everything is very clear, you can touch everything and try to accelerate the particles yourself.

Absolutely WONDERFUL hands-on science museum that's perfect for kids! So much to touch and see and do, it's a great place to bring your kids to play and learn. My mom took me there as a kid and 25 yrs later, my kids loved it as well

Took my son here for a birthday party, he enjoyed it. It has changed a lot since I was a kid (I was going here 30 years ago or so) but some things remain, the giant mouth / teeth thing, the light room, the bubbles. I don't remember the infant room from back then, but it could have been there. It had some blocks and a few other things, didn't see because my son went straight to the water toys. He had a blast splashing around. Then we went to a magnet lesson, it was ok. The current rotating exhibit appeared to be dinoasaurs, just saw it in passing. The membership is likely worth it, figuring on 2 parents 1 kid it basically pays for itself after 3 visits (figured using base membership cost, membership is yearly). Nuff said.

This center has fun that everyone in the family can enjoy, from babies to grandparents. It has hands on activities that everyone can explore together and there is something to learn everytime you go. It is worth the annual passes for sure.

So glad we made the stop at impression 5! There is so much to do here for kids of all ages and abilities. We had some problems with under supervised children, but it was very easy to redirect my special needs son (5) and my younger son (3) to a new activity with so much being offered there. They also had a wonderful free demonstration with Smores that the kiddos absolutely loved. We will definitely be back!

The last time I went was a few years ago and I took the summer school class I was teaching on a field trip. Impression 5 is an interactive science museum and caters to the young and old, with all kinds of exhibits like "How does it feel to be blind", or the giant bubble room where you can blow big bubbles. It's a great way to kill off a couple of hours on a Saturday or to amaze your nieces and nephews with something cool and educational at the same time. Even my jaded high school students got a kick out of Impression 5.
