Super facility if a person is foolish enough to spend 70k a year to send their kid to this place. (if the gossip on price tag was correct) Soccer fields were in good shape for our tournament. Prepare to be robbed to park. Pay plenty to register for your event and then get hammered to park if you want in. 10$ a day. No shade around fields. Some trees to be found around certain perimeters of the parking lot. IMG soccer team in our age bracket got killed and was clearly a mediocre team compared to all the visiting teams.

It is a school that teaches sports and studying well with boarding. Children and professional athletes studying abroad in various sports are coming to practice from all over the world. If you are lucky, you can see professional practice up close ^_^ The dormitories are excellent, and the food is made with the athlete in mind.
There is also a pizzeria in the cafe that you can order and bake in the oven.
On off days, you can relax in the pool and other sports.
WiFi is not very good in the dorm but it might be good for kids so that they go to bed on time. My 14-year-old daughter enjoyed the golf camp as a beginner. Not sure it is good for advanced players if only group lesson but they might have 1-1 fir more advanced levels. She met time other youths from Japan and had a great time. The first roommate was very challenging because she talks on the phone loud till midnight but if you request they will switch you to a different room. For summer there are four kids in one room.
Mattress protector from IMG makes a lot of noises though. Cafeteria seems nice.
IMG is an excellent facility, where my daughter has attended for the past three summers and we are now going to ramp this up to winter as well and possibly the year school program. The staff are excellent, the supervision is second to none, coaching is amazing and regardless of first persons bad comments, it is all about a two way street where the child must be dedicated and willing to learn from the best. As a former Federal Agent I was very fussy about security etc and I found the Academy to be a very tight ship when it comes to security and the childrens well being. Overall we are very happy and my daughters tennis has imporved as has her self confidence and ability to think on her own two feet at 14 and has been doing so ever since her first year there 3 years ago.
Great academy! I was only there 10 days, however there was nearly ever facility imaginable. From track and Field, football and soccer fields, baseball fields and tennis courts. The food in the canteen was okay, it got a bit boring after a while, but there was more than enough choice. Staff were friendly and the accommodation was great. The One thing is the heat and the storms, however we got used to it pretty quickly.
This is the best boarding school I've ever seen in my life. The camps are amazing and their football team is ranked 4th in the Nation and 1st in the state of Florida.
I went there for 9th grade. Biggest waste of money. Place is a giant factory and a business with bad programs. The tennis program was awfully run by people who do not care about the individual. If you go there you are a just number. Take a deeper look before you pay 85k like I DID and make a BIG mistake. Place is absolute garbage!
I had the pleasure of delivering a birthday cake, ordered by a parent, to a student today. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the campus is gorgeous! It was a wonderful experience.
I had a very great time there my nephew enjoyed coach banks is real good for dB he use to say all day like bubble gum lol . The strength coach made my nephew feel the burn can t wait until the season start
If you're serious about tennis, take sign up for some serious tennis lessons. We shot a campaign for Prince Tennis here and the facilities are amazing.
Clear disconnect with security and proshop. Called ahead as I just wanted to go to driving range facilities, no mention of appt needed. Get to front gate and security was kinda rude wouldnt let me go in without an appointment. Makes perfect sense?
Tennis, basketball, golf, baseball, athletics, American football, lacrosse, and soccer facilities are provided at an unprecedented level on a vast site where more than 40 Tokyo Dome can enter, and high-level coaching proven by achievements is performed A rare boarding school in the world. It is acceptable from the first grade of junior high school and ESL is prepared, but English proficiency is necessary, and studying is appropriate only in sports, and it is difficult to graduate like other schools. More than 95% of the graduates are going to college and many of them have received scholarships such as NCAA, but if you turn them over, you need to have a high level of both literary and martial arts. Going here does not mean that you will be able to speak English without permission.Speaking children have a high level of consciousness, so it is important to have that consciousness before traveling, otherwise you will return halfway Will come.
The camps are held all year round and are open from one week on any Sunday. The level of sports is not particularly required. Be careful about airport transfer, at Tampa airport the driver will come to the turntable area to pick up luggage for some reason, and walk far to the super shuttle counter at the end of the terminal to check in If you don't ask for a pick up, no one will come.
This not a safe place for girls. There is a very high ratio of boys to girls, and the boys do not handle that or their newfound freedom well. Multiple accounts of sexual assault go unreported, and it is an overall unsafe environment for the girls, especially at night. Along with multiple other instances, the most serious was when my daughter was almost dragged off by one of the kids at the academy who lived off campus...urging her to go to his condo.
Wa$ really di$appointed they didn't train mixed martial art$ there $ince the owners of this "$chool" recently bought the UFC for a whopping 4 billion dollar bill$
Great facilities. Staff not friendly and parking situation along with restrooms is terrible. Have no clue how to host a soccer tournament although been doing this for several years.
Baseball facilities are nice. Batting cages are great. Lots of space. Could use more restrooms closer to back fields. More shade for those watching ball games would be great.
Just when I thought Bradenton couldn't get any worse. I was driving on 53rd Ave W last night and thought I was approaching a slum bus station entrance until I noticed it was IMG. My thoughts were, how was this ever approved through Manatee county, how much were the bribes paid to the Manatee county building department and board members that voted for such an ugly disgusting entry resembling a car wash entrance, an airport car rental or an interstate gas station/truck stop.
