Total class company. I knew their late CEO Mike McCord and he was a man of great integrity. His family has run the company well for many years. I recommend Illinois Mutual enthusiastically. They also do an excellent job of supporting the community.

Bought a disability policy many many years ago, unfortunately i was diagnosed with cancer and off of work for a while my claim was quickly approved. A few years later became disabled again once again no hassle .They have always been very helpful and prompt in doing what I paid for the policy to do. Don't hesitate to trust them.

I hurt my back while moving at home. I filed for disability which I had through Illinois Mutual. They investigated every part of my medical history, which I understood. But being out of work I needed the insurance payments to kick in. They always needed more information. It took me two months to get to the point I could go back to work. After I got back to work, is when they decided I should get some of the insurance payments, but only part. More information was needed for further payments. Just a beware, they do a great job on delaying everything and finding loop holes to getting out of paying. Didn't get the benefit when it was needed the most. I won't stay with them, nor will I ever suggest somebody get insurance through them. Very frustrating and disappointing.
