I hurt my back while moving at home. I filed for disability which I had through Illinois Mutual. They investigated every part of my medical history, which I understood. But being out of work I needed the insurance payments to kick in. They always needed more information. It took me two months to get to the point I could go back to work. After I got back to work, is when they decided I should get some of the insurance payments, but only part. More information was needed for further payments. Just a beware, they do a great job on delaying everything and finding loop holes to getting out of paying. Didn't get the benefit when it was needed the most. I won't stay with them, nor will I ever suggest somebody get insurance through them. Very frustrating and disappointing.
