Pizza tasted like cardboard. Took 45 minutes to deliver 2 scoops of ice cream and even then, not the flavour we ordered, not a happy four year old. Very shinny veneer but ropey under the surface. Won't be visiting again.

It's a nice place, but nothing is ever done at any great pace. 45 mins from a table being booked to starters arriving and that was in the middle of the afternoon, meant that one of our party had to take her main meal to go. If you're happy just to sit and wait it's great.
had nothing but a bad experience with all the staff there waited nearly a hour for cold food. the plates where dirty and the cutlery i wouldn't let my pets use absolutely vile not impressed also i was forced a service charge and felt intimidated into leaving one i strongly suggest that you do not go to this establishment. business like these bring shame on the town its self !! needs closing ASAP
The food was great,we had breakfast, but we had to wait 3/4 HR before we got it. Also staff should check the inside of cups...before putting on table as dregs of coffee in one brought to the table ...
Waited 45 min for someone to take our order and that was only after asking someone to take our food order, no apology for our wait, food was not of usual standard, main salad was more the size if a side salad but still charged full price, will not be visiting again, very disappointed with he whole experience.
Good service and car cleaned very well. Why rated at 3 as the facilities for people to wait is not clean or comfortable. Plus exiting the room my wife of 79 years old slipped on the wet service just outside the room. STRONGLY suggest the put a non slip carpet down.
Food was nice. Service not so great. Was 45mins until our first drinks order was received. Took them ages to clear the table and bring the next courses.
I understand we are in unprecented times. There is a menu for Help to eat out, which is very limited. When we arrived there were four items unavailable, which left fish and chips, pie and chips braised lamb and chicken supreme on the main menu. I had the lamb, which was delicious and my husband had the pie, which was a bought in pie, very dissapointed. Waiting staff had no masks and was not as enjoyable an experience as hoped!
If you value your tastebuds and your money, STAY AWAY!!!
We had a table of 15, pre-ordered meals and still took +50 mins to bring out food. It wasn't even that busy in restaurant! (We had small children waiting also)
When the food came (mainly Sunday roasts) it was cold and tasteless! Beef was tough, mash was grainy and dry (like it was 2-3 days old and just warmed up) roast potatoes were dry and burnt, peas and carrots blanched within an inch of tasteless. No other veg available!! I mean for a place that charges an arm and a leg for soft drinks, they could pop to Sainsbury's next door and get some broccoli!! Yorkshire pudding were dry and tough! Think they were left over from Christmas!!!!!
My kids dinners came with no veg at all! I took some from my plate and gave it them, they loves veg, but they didn't eat it!
I mean come on....... total rip off!
PLEASE, go somewhere else!
Plenty of places elsewhere that provide fantastic food! THIS ISNT ONE OF THEM!!!
Generally a busy bar/restaurant. I can't comment on the food, has i havent had any! Expect a good selection of beers, wine and spirits, but expect high end prices! And definitely a place to dress to impress if thats your thing! Recommended, take a look!
Nice upmarket decor and atmosphere. Prices are reasonable to moderate. Food quality is excellent. Can get busy at times so would be advisable to book at table if going at the weekend/normal busy times. 100% recommended.
Brilliant food, friendly staff, they told me the wrong soup of the day but subbed it with bread and butter when I pointed it out. Not a problem. The caramel Latte is so good!!
This place, what can I say. There isn't a 10 star reccomendation. Absolutely phenomenal. Would reccomend. First time iv ever been. But I shall be going back again. Well worth the money. Can't complement enough.
Attended 20th december for works xmas party.. absolute nightmare!.. Not enough staff.. waited 50 mins for them to ask for our drinks order.. cocktails arrived 90 mins later!... had to wait over an hour for a food menu as we were told they More
I went in the establishment and was horrified to see people openly taking drugs and then sitting with the owner th bar manager was also very rude when questioned as to why we waited a hour and 15 mins for our starter he said it will be here when it's here can you not see I'm busy horrible place horrible people
Went for Sunday lunch menu. All decorated for Christmas and looked amazing. Place was buzzing with drinkers and restaurant was very busy. Has pate for starter, roast beef for main and Il Rosso Tiramisu for Desert. Had nice pint of Harvest Pale Ale and Timothy Taylor Lanlord. Good atmosphere and reasonable price.
First time for breakfast and I have to say was impressed. The menu is limited and they accommodate any changes to suit your taste. Very modern and classy place to eat warm and friendly
I enjoy coming on Sunday, I have been coming for 2years, never ever had a bad Sunday Lun ch, The service is superb, especially Diane who is very good at her job , cannot do enough for you, I recommend loads of People to come , will be coming Christmas too,Keep up the .good work
One of a handful of good places to eat in Mansfield, consistently good food and a lovely atmosphere, particularly at Christmas when the place is warm and inviting and bedecked in fairy lights.
