We went early evening for a change..nice atmosphere, quite busy as it was Friday. We decided on the 2 course meal for 13.00 each. We really enjoyed it..calamari to start and I had the chicken skewers and my partner had the burger, for our main course, both were very enjoyable. Staff were helpful and friendly, which they usually are. Will definitely return as we do enjoy it here.
Meal was brilliant but the service wasn't. Cost me a parking ticket beca6they were so slow.

Enjoyed It. But as its Italian based. Maybe some Italian music perhaps and not top of the pops. Anyway food was beautiful and most importantly service was fast. No waiting around!!

Really poor experience today. Visited with family for a coffee and a dessert, but were refused food in bar area because they were too busy. Very disappointing after drinking here ever since the place opened.
Had been wanting to visit here for ages but was v disappointed.Overcharged for one of starters. Sunday menu 6.50 normal menu 7 pound. We got charged 7 on a Sunday. Only realised when left. Menu on Sunday was very limited. Sunday lunch was good. Tuna salad tasted awful the bread served with it stale, I did complain but nobody really bothered. Don't think will return in a hurry
A "trendy" type of bar full of people who drive Audi's and bmw's. Food is very nice, staff clean and friendly but, it does have giant tv's showing sky sports which unfortunately attracts the football type, if it wasnt for the giant tv's the decor would be perfect.
Been a few times food excellent as is the service very good staff Tam the owner always makes a fuss of his guests no matter what they are there for can not wait for the cocktail side to open

The person asked did not bring a bill nor asked our server who just kept doing other things-Our server even came to the next table to clear and when I asked her for the bill, the second request, would have continued clearing had I not made another comment. She tried to be ingratiating when she finally brought the bill but the damage was done,

Not the best atmosphere had to wait a good half hour for plates to get taken away from the table so we could have our sweet, the music could have been more in the background and Italian music would be nice would not return, not forgetting the 8% service charge that they don't deserve

The food was amazing, the drinks where price into the higher side of things but where it really shined was a the starters. I would highly recommend the meat balls starter.
There is one very big problem, the music in the entire building is too loud, staff sometimes miss hear you and having a covosation in a large group is almost impossible.
Very rude manager went in asked for 2 drinks said he couldn't do them bearing in mind ive always had them made when ive gone in. Really bad attitude problem
Came to sing with my band The Disco Prophets on the excellent semi-open terrace. Great pizza, friendly service, good crowd. Would happily pay to eat here!

Dry food from being under the heat lamp. Extremely slow service (3 hours for 2 courses at peak time). Chased out of the venue by a waitress shouting that we had not paid. Showed waitress the receipt from where we had paid and she said "oh. The other guy said..." instead of apologising. Would not return here if i was paid to do so.
Food is alright, good quality. Don't agree with compulsory service fee.
Watch out when the bill comes too, we had loads of drinks from a different table in our bill. Staff asked us to change table but apparently no change in the system which isn't great.

I was hungry so I bit into the sandwich, it was horribly stale.inedible

Food delicious, staff lovely, only disappointment, my neice asked staff at the bar when we arrived to book a taxi for after the meal, (She's from London) she was told no need, there are always plenty of taxis we had a 2hr wait (with a baby)

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! After years of loving this restaurant it is now one worst locally. Partner ordered a mocha coffee which never arrived, we asked for some table water which took 15 minutes to arrive. We had waited around 40 minutes for our main, to find that they had misplaced our order. When the main arrived 3 of us asked for mayonnaise, 1 small pot arrived. We were offered free puddings for making us wait, but we declined as we couldn't get out quick enough due to the poor service. The Covid secure measures were a joke, we had our temperatures taken from about 1ft away by the manageress without a mask. She used a UV light to check 1 menu which she then handled, this is the only menu we got. No staff wore masks. No sanitisers anywhere. All patrons were allowed to walk around without masks, our party was the only one that did wear them. It was one way in/out, so we exited via the terrace where all the smoker's had congregated because it was raining. Wouldn't return for a free meal.

Visited in 2011 for first date with my soon to be wife. Perfect evening and food. Re. Visited on 24tg August 2020 with my now wife (same person) staff were pleasant and attentive and food was exceptional.
Waited 45 minutes for our meal and was told it was because it was really busy as they had a party of 70 in! Then had to send back my dessert as it was cold, admittedly they did come back with a second dessert fairly quickly but it was awful More

My husband and I went to IL Rossi for breakfast on Saturday 21st it was awful. When it arrived it was luke warm. Looked horrible on plate. Toast was burnt. Not up to usual standard don't know if chef has changed but will not be returning. More

I visit Il Rosso with a friend one evening and the food was lovely, staff friendly and helpful and the food was really tasty. The menu is reasonably priced too. We would definitely visit again.
Had my father's wake in the terrace, the buffet was very good excellent food fantastic service, nothing was too much trouble the staff couldn't do enough for us they are a credit to LeeLee and Julie . Thank you all it really made the day a little easier
Waited over an hour for our food. Party of 7 for a 21st birthday party. Very small portions. Birthday girl had to call for a Chinese on the way home. Very disappointing and staff that didn't really care. Saying sorry can only do so much. Not even a free drink or dessert was offered. 7 people that won't be going again
Nice good and atmosphere.. Only critique I would say that the resturant needs closing off more as can't hear due to noise from bar at times.

My husband booked us a New Years Eve Breakfast which we were both looking forward too, but unfortunately we were quickly disappointed by being greeted with an extremely poor buffet breakfast. The selection available included congealed beans, grey scrambled egg, both potatoes and black pudding was swimming in grease. The whole breakfast was completely unedable.
I did complain, but to be honest the lady couldn t of cared less about the state of the food and actually thought it was acceptable. Wouldn t go again and certainly wouldn t recommend.
