A nice place to shop for home goods and friendly cashiers
At this time, Ikea is mess. Tons of roped off places. Go there if you know what you need. I was there to pick up some plants. I was semi successful, only found two nice ones. Will not be back until everything goes back to normal, unfortunately.
HORRIBLE Customer Service. I placed an order for Home Delivery. They sent me an email confirming my order was picking. 3 weeks later, no further emails or order updates. scheduled delivery passed. They screen phone calls and block you so you can't speak to a service agent.
In order to even check on my order I had to drive to the store, walk the maze, and go speak to a representative for home deliveries. She couldn't give me any updates at all.
This entire process took about 8 weeks. Horrible horrible horrible experience. IKEA lost a customer for good on this one. Enjoy the credit card charge back and read a book on customer service. No excuse for a corporation this large.
Always a great place to go for a new and fresh ideas.
Love the products, but I hate the maze when I just want to grab one thing and go. Avoid the cafe on "free food with $100 furniture purchase day" cafe ran out of just about everything, line was an hour long, no cups... customers in line are greedy, entitled, rude... and dobt believe in personal space boundaries
Very good prices on furniture and the restaurant it's a very good food cheap prices.
For my furniture, IKEA is the first place to think of & visit. Variety, quality, service & reasonable prices
Good inexpensive furniture, and it is fun to assemble it yourself.
Check online for inventory and confirmed it was in stock (dresser, night stand and a bed). Unloaded the truck to make room. Drove for 30 min to Costa Mesa. The store is set up into a maze that you have to run the entire gauntlet even though you know what you want. Arrived at area to select items, so that you can put them on to a cart to load yourself or give to delivey people. Didn't get that far. Inventory was not correct, items were sold out. Wasted 2.5 hours. I would gladly pay 10x not to experience that again.
We have had issues here before. They had trouble accepting a return from the original Ikea in Stockholm and had to give me store credit after I argued with them for about a half hour. The place is starting to feel old and out dated. Food prices are cheap as always. But not a very pleasant experience here.
I love a lot of things about ikea. Here are few, home organization stuff, cute kids bedroom ideas with practical solutions, chocolate, ice cream etc etc
Love this place, even though it gets crowded the lines to pay go by pretty fast. Great prices for quality stuff too..
I go here every few weeks for random stuff, awesome every time
Great service, the personal answer all my questions and I found exactly what I wanted
Where everything is except for household items
It's cheap
Gotta love Ikea! Best place for move in furniture that is decent priced
Decent home furnishing store..neatly organized..my goto for home related stuff
We come here for most of our home decor. Always clean. Staff lack on customer service..
Super friendly staff. Love the variety of furniture.
Great place but very crowded on the weekends. Their cafeteria is a bargain.
Slow service, under staffed. I waited in line to have my couch delivered for 30 minutes and then the staff closed the window for the day. No one would help me and didn't care about finding my items on the showroom floor!
The food is good and not expensive. Perfect to take kids and walk around even if you dont buy anything.
Store itself is maintained pretty well, but wait times here are atrocious for returns. Their build quality of most of their furniture is questionable at best, and design choices can also be weird. Their floorlamps/lamps are all very dim and do not handle any substantial wattages - they're meant to look good and only provide the brightness equivalent of a couple candles. It's a good place to shop if you're a college student or on a budget and want something that looks good, but might not last. The furniture here is definitely not meant to stand up to children. It is not well built and your standard issue germ factory will have no issues breaking it down to rubble.
Also, their $1 ice cream isn't good here anymore.
It's always been my most favorite store. I just love EVERYTHING that they have. The store is huge and the check out lines are always quick and fast. The employee there are super friendly and helpful.
I mean you get a good deal here and there but not sure it's worth the crowds.
I hate moving. My IKEA visit was the best thing about it. I had some great meatballs first. Then I took my shopping list to Evelyn. She processes my picking, delivery and assembly very quickly and accurately. I paid downstairs with a friendly Anizza. I was done in the store. Then on my delivery date the guys showed up on time and assembled my bed. Thanks IKEA Costa Mesa.
Had to exchange something they helped me out and Made sure I had everything I needed
Very good and modern
Love to go again
I love IKEA Costa Mesa. It's the best IKEA store in SOCAL. The shoppers are chill, not like the Covina or Carson store.
Pretty standard IKEA. I purchased it not realizing that the end plug was missing. It was the only defective product I have received from this store. The parking lot is huge but you might have to walk for a bit. The food area is really packed and there is a lot of chaos with the amount of children they have running around.
Very good IKEA location with many affordable furniture options.
Everything, you find everything you need for the home.
From my favorite stores in the USA. You find everything for your home and the most creative of a store so large that halfway through the journey, when you are tired and thirsty, you find a restaurant with very rich and varied food, to have more energy and continue with your purchases.
Very stifling place and the very missed emergency exits
Ikea is the best for finding stuff to decorate your house. I always love going there and I think people always forget that their food is really good and really cheap. Is Ikea's huge but they ran out of the book and they stated that they won't have another book until August. Disappointing, because I love to check out the items they have for sale. Favorite items are hangers and closet organizers. Can't beat Ikea
Nice and clean as always. And of course you'll find pretty much what u looking for, just make sure you measure the space you gonna place the furniture you're getting and a measuring tape can help you in the store too.
Nice place to get ideas on how decorating you house
Great place to kill hours of time and get awesome stuff!
Awesome place. Too many people though not following the arrows.
Excellent customer service. For return items, would not recommend calling at all. You will never get through. Instead take a trip to your IKEA store and request for refund. NEVER CALL FOR REFUND!
I didn't even get to go in on labor day, my dad has a little emotional support animal that was IN A STROLLER. They wouldn't even give me a reason why I asked why twice! They even saw us wait in line i feel like they could have at least told us so we didn't have to wait 30mins to find out we couldn't go in.
Make sure you check out the swedish food!! Walking through the showrooms here is always fun :)
Everything is clean & organized. They get 4 stars because despite all those employees none of them offered help or see if we needed assistance, and I did, they just stood around talking to each other in groups of 4-5 employees in different parts of the store. Finally I grabbed a guy and asked my questions.
Best place to buy your furniture, eat and get ideas to remodel your place.
Courteous, helpful and always, without fail, stand behind their products. As easy to return, exchange or refund as Costco.
It's a huge Ikea. My daughters wanted to live there! I was helped by staff a couple of times. There are not a lot of them. Food was good an inexpensive. Everything on display was in Stock in the size I needed and at a good price
I always appreciate wandering around IKEA, to inspire ideas of how is like to orient my living space and office. I think the Costa Mesa location head handled Covid precautions reasonably well. But it's very warm inside the entire facility, on this random Monday (10/19).
This IKEA has a good selection and is my go-to place for inexpensive lamps. Like other IKEA stores, it's a maze to get through if you don't want to follow the prescribed pathway.
i ve always loved ikea and their food.. but this ikea the food is disgusting.. pancake does not look like pancakes.. their lunch meals u cannot tell if its sour or sweet or what so ever.. the morning girl cashier was super rude and manly .. realy bad service and bad food
First time in IKEA and I was blown away. Got great products for a good price!
Great so much that you have to not know what to grab, you need one more money
I absolutely love Ikea. They are great to ask questions to. It must be a great place to work. I can tell because all the employees act very happy. The cashiers at all locations including this one are excellent. They are extremely fast. I love the food at all the ideas also. The prices can't be best. The quality you get for the price. I will get back here soon to buy a lamp, because I broke the last one that I've had for about one and a half years
Not very handicapped accessible. Interior doors very heavy.
On the positive side, the restaurant food is very reasonable and filling.
You will get lost in the store. Great ideas to redo your living space. I would recommend going to look around and write down what you like. Go home, measure and then purchase. They have a great food selection at the restaurant and mini cafe downstairs. Highly recommended shopping during the week. It is less crowded then.
Ikea is definitely a fun place to shop for furniture, or if you'd like to go exploring with a friend. Some items are a bit overpriced in my opinion, but other things are absolute steals! Food is somewhat of a hit or miss due to pricing and portion sizes are sometimes disappointing; but what do you expect from a place that serves furniture!?
Massive warehouse where you can find stylish furniture for a reasonable price. It's got everything you need all under one roof. It even has a play area for kids while the adults shop.
