We walked out! We were told when we entered they would honor a coupon with the bar code. We got to the register and they denied us using it, said it had to be printed. Poor communication on all levels. Not to mention the gal at the register looked like she didn't want be there.

Very confusing for 1st time shoppers. Spent 45 minutes walking upstairs looking for the piece of furniture we wanted only to discover that all I had to do was go to the self service kiosk to get the order processed, paid for and delivered to the pick up area. I could have been out of there in 20 minutes had I known.

There were more employees on the floors than there were customers, and when heading for the check out lines, I found out why... All the customers were lined up just to check out and they only had 4 or 5 registers open. And all lines went back further than the check out area.
Some employees need customer service training ... they would walk right in front of you without an apology OR acknowledging that you (the customer) should precede them.

Clean aisles, well organized, and fair prices. Really, if you're going to Ikea, you know what you're in for. The check out process can take a while but they do run most registers, so that's more of a popularity issue.

Love this store. Very reasonably priced items but, you have to put it together yourself unless you want to pay extra for someone to do it.

Cafe is very reasonably priced too. They don't gouge the customer! They charge reasonable prices for reasonable serving sizes. They aren't like most other places where they know they have a captive audience once you're in the store and then charge high prices for all of the did and drink products.

Best overall place to shop for everything you could possibly need to decorate, furnish, re-do, etc. to your home, including tons & tons of different ideas! I can get lost in this store for literally several hours! On top of it being the best store for home shopping, the prices can NOT be beat, it's shocking!! It's worth any drive time to get there, you'll be glad you did!

As everything in IKEA is displayed so nicely, you end up purchasing more stuff than what you have planned for. It's a very big store, so plan your time as it got plenty of options and everything is perfectly placed. I had been to IKEA store in Norway, the layout and product placement is almost similar which makes it perfect for consumer to do shopping irrespective of location. It got a good cafeteria on first floor and another one towards the exit. Food is cheap and good part is that they have introduced veggie hotdog (I'm Ovo Lacto Vegetarian).

Furnitures are offered with a good discount. Low prices. I love their show room and decorating stuffs. They also have food court which I have tried meat ball once.

Staffs not very friendly or helpful from my experience.

I love Ikea and all their products. We got my husband a new dresser there for Father's Day and he loved it so much that I went back and got myself one just like it! Great price, beautifully made (although my son had to assemble it, but he had no problem with it...all the pieces were there, even some extra screws in the hardware bag in case you lose one!) And the drawers close so easily and gently. I highly recommend this store!

IKEA always seems to have something I want, though I never liked putting it together. Easy parking and the cafe upstair and marketplace near the exit are awesome. The lines were a bit longer then usual, though there seemed to be a lot of registers open. If you don't mind a few scratches, there is an as-is section near the exit before you reach the registers with some massive discounts.

Great store great Place even me a little snack shot the food market downstairs is great soft serve ice cream cinnamon rolls great deal in value the upstairs is great as well if you want to eat dinner with the family or by yourself all great values however the lines are too long it got 2030 registers yet only half of them are open Food Lines too long.
They're truly Great Value but yet loose clientele because of the long lines.
Sorry for any typos this is not something I need to correct just gave my opinion so I can help others

It's fun. A slog but fun. Be prepared for stuff to be in counterintuitive places (pet stuff in "home organizing"? or actual kitchen storage in with kitchen wares not, you know, in home organizing). The staff was a little harried and of course the checkout lines were long. But it's IKEA. You know these things going in, or soon will learn.

Who doesn't love ikea? Awesome household goods section for the right price. Forget the funiture. Way too much assembly time. I'll just buy something already made on CL for half the price. True Story! Find it at ikea Google it on CL. Can't go wrong.

Getting service in Ikea is harder than other stores. Not much people are walking around and ready to serve you. Even when a person is standing next to you, they won't ask if you need any help. But overall is good. The price of their products are always surprising me. The food in the food court are very good. Those food's taste are even better than some other restaurants.

Went in for the as is room. Did not find anything there but could not say no to these legos. There was no line to get in like there is at the Long Beach Ikea and it was not crowded. The checkout line was long but moved quickly. People did somehow find a way to be trying to shop for items in the line I was waiting in getting with two feet of me which was annoying but probably not IKEA's fault.

Always enjoy a trip to Ikea lots of neat things to see and some items have a great prices $$ like this 4.99 cat/dog bed. Also can't beat 3.99 cusions for outdoor furniture kids love the stuffed animals too, like the koalas on my chair.

I like the affordable and convenient every day designs they have to offer.

Ikea cannot sale lower quality chairs for about the same price as World Market (I understand they sale many Chinese items too), just not the same!

But I feel that quality doesn't quite meet the price they charge you for. Nevertheless, high overhead and cost of doing business, somewhat justifies for the convenience.

That's my two cents.

Well organized, good selection and fair prices. Cafe has yummy food for nice, inexpensive meal. Very glad to see they halved the sugar content of their drinks and use non-disposable tableware. It's nice to deal with a socially aware/responsible company

Would not return my item with out receipt went to another ikea and didn t have a problem wasn t treated rude either .Was trying to exchange for correct sizes. Management in returns was unpleasant and unfair. Would never return here again . Be sure to save your receipt it s managers discretion either way .

Friendliest IKEA staff across all others in Southern California (yes, I have been to all the others). I come here most often since I live only a 10 minute drive away. Plenty of parking. Enjoy getting lost in there. No map needed. Allot yourself 3 hours and enjoy it all slowly while daydreaming that nursery for the baby you won't have for another 10 years or furniture for that office you don't have room for in your $1800 studio apartment lol

Placed an order for an office chair for curb side pick up and only got the top part of it. Never was told by the person who brought the items about the issue... not even an email to notify me that one of the items was not in missing. At least after a week I was able to get my refund.

Took my grandparents here for breakfast since we were window shopping for some furniture. The pancakes were just meh. I asked the lady who scoops the food if the food contains nuts, as I am allergic, and she seemed not to know what food allergies even were, which disappointed me.

Unique and innovative shopping experience typical of all ikea stores, where you follow a path to take you through every aspect of the various departments in the store. There's always something you will want to buy that you didn't even know you needed until you walked in their doors.

I bought a Malm, missing the bottom of the drawer. It take forever to reach the customer service. They promise me that they will ship to me. Two week later, I received an email telling "they couldn't reach me, and I have to call". I had called them at least 30 times and the machine always hung up on me. This is the worst customer service.

If you guys want to see the most ill-mannered, disgruntled employee, please step into the Costa Mesa Ikea and look for 'Marc" at the pick-up department. This is the second time I've had a run-in with this idiot. I paid for my items upstairs, came down after I walked through the entire store and the item number is still not on the screen. The people in the back had already pulled my items and all this dude had to do was scan the darn thing but he just stood there chatting. This is the kind of people that make us Asians look bad.

I told him politely, "I think that those are my items," and his attitude and response basically amounted to telling me he'll call me when he was good and ready. Instead of scanning my items that were next in line, he walked around and scanned another customer's order, on purpose just to piss me off. I let it go last time because everyone's got a bad day, but apparently, this snowflake little Napoleon's got some issues. I don't know how a company that talks about customer service as being their priority can hire a dip s*&* like this.

A word to your manager and human resource department: You have got a lot of good, hard-working employees and I've known many of them, as I've been a loyal shopper at Ikea, since you guys were located in Tustin. In fact, I've bought three kitchens from you guys and numerous furniture pieces over the years. PLEASE don't let this bad apple ruin the entire team. This snowflake needs to go scrub toilets at a Chevron gas station or pick up trash on the 405 to appreciate what he's got.
