IKEA has everything for in the home, at reasonable prices/quality, minus is the really frustrating layout, hard to find stuff, the shortcuts are helpful, but everything but short
Shop is ok, restaurant I would skip ... A short visit to IKEA for lunch, 25 minutes later we were. No system at the counter for eating, waiting for each other and not fully aware of what exactly belongs to the menu. More
The shopping area is okay. Food in the restaurant is also okay. Prices are good. There are long waiting times in the restaurant and many anti-social customers.
The assistance for the beds was really professional. But the arrangement of walking path makes me loose directions. And the waiting queues are everywhere long: when asking for support and at the cashier. And the queue to pay for the food was so long also due to students discount actions that our meals were cold. Today very bad service from the transport company. Returned all goods.
This is very close to Ikea from our house. I visited much better in Germany. There is not much space for children, Ikea classic in the dining room. It is probably the narrowest choice.
Inventory management is poor. Employees let you come back twice during the discount promotion and that is not the item in stock. After the promotion, the item is back in full, but there is no way to still get the discount.
Recently I took a look at IKEA here in Utrecht. Parking is in any case no problem; certainly not during the week, it is also free of charge. It's a bit of a search for the entrance to the store (there are signposts everywhere to the emergency exits, but not to the entrance of the store!) Of course I know the concept; you are guided along all departments. Of course you will see all kinds of articles that you are not looking for at all. The idea behind it is of course to tempt you to purchase those things anyway. Then there is another attraction that works very tempting, namely. the restaurant where you can buy all kinds of refreshments. I myself have a cup of coffee with a big cake consumed. It cost 2.45 together. Normally you pay 2.50 in many catering establishments for coffee only and the taste is no less. The service at the 'coffeebar' was extremely friendly and correct. It looks a bit sterile in the restaurant, but at least it is very nice! Once you arrive at the box office, you are still waiting for a temptation, which is certainly not accidentally situated there, namely. there are also all kinds of snacks and snacks available there. Apparently it is assumed that a visit to the restaurant is already a while ago, or that those who resist the temptation of the restaurant will succumb at the second temptation! (I suspect that will be the case in many cases!)
Shopping with a little bit of fun for children. IKEA wants you and children at home. It's clean. The only minor problem is the long queue for coffee machines during breakfast (and other busy hours for coffee).
Nice and large DIY shop with a large and diverse range. The staff is very friendly. Also nice that there are already many furnished kitchens and rooms, or sometimes even fully furnished houses. Finally, the food in the IKEA restaurant has good quality and is also not expensive!
What a huge IKEA there is in Utrecht. Nicely furnished with living ideas. Boxes were well stocked. I only had to buy one light bulb and despite the fact that a short route to the department and the cash register is indicated, I felt that I was 15 minutes to get to the cash registers. Ample parking also for delivery vans and disabled people.
Good service and handling of returns. You just have to be patient. I had to wait 15 minutes before it was my turn. Bringing something back quickly takes time.
Like any other IKEA, great shopping, well, (almost) around the entire store for a specific product. After they have grown, "just to IKEA" is a utopia, but nevertheless great basics shopping here.
Went there to eat. At noon only half the kitchen was open on one of the busiest days a year. And only one pan of meatballs was made with a queue of 25 people. Bad management
Fine, spacious Ikea. Both enough space for parking cars and bicycles. Assortment what you expect from an Ikea. We like the restaurant (usually super busy when we visit). The hot dogs and Swedish meatballs that you can get down past the cash registers are tasty.
You find everything you need to have the super tidy house and great-priced furniture that combines with other classic styles. Good parking. The dressing rooms are magnificent!
Great for shopping or to get a tasty hot dog! It is busy behind this despite the corona pandemic. But that's to be expected with so many beautiful things!
What great customer service! If you want to exchange something, they make you wait more than an hour. A full waiting room and only two people who do everything at their leisure. #togethernotstrengthagainstcorona
There is a lot of parking space and the directions where you have to drive are very well indicated. The Ikea is also as good as along the highway, in short very easily accessible. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can also eat there (hot or snack). There is also a Self scan cash register.
If we want a new base for our 220 cm bed, it will no longer be delivered. Because only Swedes and Dutch are so tall ... Not understandable for a company that swears by good customer service. It is a pity that profitability continues to work at Ikea.
Ikea. Fine, particularly well-stocked store for people who can walk well and enjoy long shopping. You can spend a day there and also have a snack or an extensive buffet. Make sure that your children do not get lost and are picked up again in time at the play department.
Very nice stuff for a good price, but service is badly inadequate. Order of almost 3000 who made euros. Parts not complete. Even a tap disappeared. Called customer service but takes a long time before the parts that have not been delivered arrive. 3 weeks! Then I had to wait an hour for 1 product at ikea Utrecht. Really worthless.
The restaurant feels mega hectic, a coffee bar that is not for "normal" customers and opens at 10:51. Furthermore, a neat store. More than enough parking space.
Let's be honest. Ikea there you get new home inspiration. If only to walk around in the showroom. Then why do they only get 1 star? Unfortunately they have no silence room or a prayer room. Very unfortunate but that is not the reason why. Ikea Utrecht is located in the canals island district and a huge number of car burglaries take place. Even one of the security guards has indicated that Ikea does not do enough to prevent this. Recently I saw that a new sign has been placed with the warning that car burglars are active. That way you really can't keep the burglars away ....
