COVID-19 has rendered IKEA useless. Order place in March was supposed to arrive in May. Didn't make that truck so next date was July 11th. Now July 20th and still no $14 bracket...no way to reach a live body and canceling delivery will allegedly result in still being charged divert charge.
Plenty of other businesses comparable to IKEA still functioned during this pandemic...what the hell happened here?

I had heard the hype for years and it was all true. IKEA is the real deal! This store had everything you could need to furnish a house. They had model rooms set up and even offered a "buy-this-room" option where you could get a discounted rate on all the items in the model. For a kitchen that might be sliding cupboards with silverware, pots and pans in them, counter tops, a microwave, dishwasher, sink and faucet- all for one price on one ticket that you take to the cashier. Prices were all very easy to find, and all seemed very fair judging by the quality of the models you could touch. I will definitely be returning to do all my in home shopping from now on.

Excellent displays of post-built products. Bargain options along with notable trendy choices.
My girlfriend and I browsed to make a wishlist for our next residence - we will return in a few months.

Its a great place to set up a college kid for their first apt. Take it for what it is, if you expect a piece of furnature to last forever, you just may have to pay more than a couple hundred dollars for it. Put it in perspective.

Interesting designs and atmosphere, good meatballs. Product durability not the best though. If you only need furniture etc. to last a few years before you change your style then give IKEA a try. I prefer more durability.

27 cash registers and very seldom more than three open. Today an average of 30 people in line. Its always that way. But if want that one or two items they have that are unique then you pay the price in time.

Honestly, I love IKEA. But the waits to check out or return or pick up at this place are INSANE! There s not a time I come that I don t wait 30+ minutes to return something or a good 10-15 minutes just to check out. The employees are soooooo slow, show no sense of urgency, and there never seems to be enough people manning the areas that matter.... like the checkout lanes. I ve put items down and just left instead of waiting to check them out. I try to avoid shipping here cause you have to plan hours to be here. It s such a hassle. And online pickup is SO slow too.... why even bother offering this as a service?! Please improve this whole process. It s really not hard. Put more people behind counters. That s mostly it. Please.

Prices are pretty decent. Large coffee table for $50 but nothing high end. The only negative with IKEA is the crowded path of people going through the showcase rooms. It can really turn into a maze especially when people just stand in the middle of aisles. Great little cafe as well with reasonably priced comfort foods, candy and snacks.

Solid oak butcher block for about as much as it would cost me to make it. Been meaning to use their cabinets for kitchen remodels, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I frequently shop here for things I use in my remodeling business, good place to have around.

First time at IKEA and all I can say is wow. Upstairs where the rooms are showcased was nice and the one employee I encountered was nice. Downstairs is another story. The store was close to closing with only 2 lines open, one cards only. The other one had an employee with 2 carts jammed with items. I waited for 15 minutes and when I left to go to the other line she was at over 300.00 and still rummaging through the carts putting stuff on the counter. Why is an employee taking up the patrons time. She was just finishing up after I checked out from the other line I had waited 10 minutes in. RIDICULOUS!!! Like I said my first time at IKEA so I did not know they dont provide bags and the women who checked me out in the card only lane tells me AFTER she starts ringing up the person behind me. Really!! Wow. So I had spatula, frying pan, etc. Hanging out of my purse and carrying a rug. Wow. IKEA staff NEED training on customer service seriously. HORRIBLE first experience. Pretty sure I wont go back or recommend anyone to go to the store in Bloomington Minnesota by MOA!!!

This place is a terrible place to go during COVID times. I wanted to pick up some throw pillows and return something and finding returns was a pain and the people who were helping made it very difficult to deal with my questions.
Also, the directional arrows inside the store lead to dead ends and make it so people are very crowded and there is very minimal social distancing. I would only go back to do pick up...avoid going in the store!

A fairly standard Ikea experience. Staff were helpful and willing to help when asked. They were also constantly cleaning. The majority of employees I saw were cleaning as much as they could where customers were touching consistently.

I waste a lot of time waiting for the staff to pull my orders. Bought some cabinets from them, and for whatever reason the public can not pull the parts from the shelves. So I waste 45-90 minutes waiting for an associate to pull it. It's so bad that ther managers got rid of the "rate us on our service" buttons.

Usually good but they lost $300 worth of sales from us due to them not having enough inventory available in the bin nor would they take any down for us..we dont live close so weren't going to wait around for closing, when they will take high inventory down.

Am disappointed in my experience today. I've been going to this ikea for years and this time was so frustrating. They wouldn't let me retrieve my own package, I understand safety but they also didn't tell me that my only option was waiting 1.5 hours until after I had paid. I could have had it home 4 times in the amount it takes them to bring my package to my car.

This place has so much to offer, it's daunting when you explore it. Everytime I'm there, there's something tempting me that I wasn't initially looking for. A lot of great, affordable furniture options, and it looks like delivery options are available for the area as well. Also, the food options they offer are surprisingly delicious. Finally, as huge as this place is, I'm always amazed at how easy to navigate it is, as the signage is very easy to follow, and their staff is always willing to help. There's a reason IKEA is so renowned, they really are one of the best!

ILLEGAL FALSE AND DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES

ILLEGAL FALSE AND DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES

Went in to purchase a couch which is currently being advertised as being in stock and currently has a floor model on display.

They only sell the armrests of the advertised couch. They do not sell the actual couch and the associate told me that they never have; you have to order it which incurs a higher fee.

Bait-and-switch, fraud, false advertising and deceptive trade.

There is no mention of while supplies last there is no mention that they don't sell it in stores within the store or online.

This is illegal

Your associate stated that this is a corporate policy

It's IKEA WYSIWYG... The clearance Dept is a good place to start your visit... though beware you aren't always getting a good value for your money vs. normal inventory. Best to avoid going in the weekends.

I love shopping at Ikea. It's fun looking at all the stuff, but it is the worst place to try and return items to. I had to wait more than 20 mins to return a 5 dollar item. Their return process is long and under staffed. My parents told me they would have had a wait time of over 2 hours to return an item recently. So have fun buying, but make sure you want it because you shook t want to have to make a return.
