IKEA is one of your go to centers for home redecorating and furnituring. A restaurant is located at the first floor where you can munch on the famed swedish meatballs. Expect it to be a waiting line.

Ikea is an awesome shopping experience.... Everywhere but at Ikea Romania. There are lines everywhere. This is the comunist mark on the people. They still love lines and ikea has a bunch of them. When I asked why I had to wait almost an hour to pick up my things, they all started telling a bunch of lies. But we all know that the extremely low IQ of the employees equals low paychecks.... So every ody wins.... Except the clients. Nowadays we have a bunch of alternatives which I plan on using instead of Ikea.

Far from the expectations I had before planning and ordering the kitchen at IKEA (July 2020), and a big disappointment with my ideas about the company's global reputation. The kitchen was delivered in three installments, and there are still parts that will appear in stock "it is not known when" or "the factory (which produces those parts) has closed and we have no idea what will happen next". The explanations are obviously limited to the problems arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, but when I planned the kitchen and completed the list of parts to be purchased these issues were only mentioned in the form "goes into stock in a few days and we will send them to you with another delivery, obviously free ". One of the deliveries ended up being picked up by me from the courier's warehouse, somewhere in Ilfov County. In short, I have half of the kitchen assembled, the other lies in the living room and is waiting for the missing pieces without which it cannot be completed. And the people at IKEA don't call me, they don't apologize, they don't offer alternatives. There is no return, we have already given him the money (and there were not a few) and the undersigned has not had a kitchen (or free living room) for over 2 months. And all this because I had too much confidence in IKEA Romania.

Affordable furniture! Even though it wouldn't last you a lifetime it looks nice, clean, simple, it's nordic after all and it always fits perfectly. And after that walk through the store you can always eat at their restaurant.

It's harder at first - you are tempted to follow the arrow on the floor and often the target is at the end (I wanted electrical accessories - those are in the basement, close to the houses). You waste a lot of time! But after 2-3 visits it is easier. More complicated with furniture (often the parts are packed anapoda, missing screws, washers etc. and, rarely - it is right! - a right piece is 2 times and the left one is missing). Attention, if you want a home delivery, talk to a representative - it can happen to consider each landmark as having a separate delivery (eg: bed, wardrobe and table + 3 delivery costs. Say it is ONLY a delivery).

Unprepared employees. Had to find a manager to point me to where I could get the product, after three other employees failed. The website is not correctly update. And the employees have a silly procedures to follow that make you loose time. Sometimes I think that they are just a cheap family restaurant with the option to buy furniture.

It's an IKEA style shopping center sometimes crowded. What I dislike is their products being named in their language, even the product type. Sometimes you need to look a bit harder to identify what you actually picked from the shelf. Not once I ended up buying something else that I've planned. You can return the product in 90 days, though.

Very organized. If you know the code and have your shopping list done, you can buy in 10-20 minutes what you want. But of course, you can also stay couples of hours and see and test products, because you can always buy more than you plan.

I personally love IKEA. I often take lunch there too if I'm shopping for a long time. It's a good place for kids but kind of crowded so be careful not to lose them out of sight. Best thing: free coffee refill.

Ikea, or how I lost two months of my life and I still have no kitchen. I have decided to buy my furniture for kitchen at Ikea and also pay for the related services, planning, transportation and assembling. Big mistake ! The first planning I paid for was all wrong and I had to come back to reconfigure the kitchen, exchange some products and be rescheduled again for the assembling service. The process is truly a nightmare and I had to call around 30 times (literally 30 times) to actually get an appointment. In the end I got rescheduled the third time and even then it was wrong because there were some small pieces missing so they couldn't finish the service and I had to go through the same process again. Around 45 days have passed since I purchased everything and I still don't have a kitchen. The problem is that they take too many orders and they cannot scale to the volume, they offer poor, unorganized services and there is a lack of communication with the third party company that they subcontracted to deliver the services. Ikea is good just for buying simple furtnire that you can assembly yourself but I would never go through the experience of buying a kitchen from them. They just shouldn't offer services to people that they cannot complete in a timely manner. And the whole process of resolving an incident is simply traumatic. Ikea shouldn't have the right to have a call center or to offer any services, just furniture. Therefore, behind every pretty kitchen you see in the Ikea showroom, there is a long nightmare waiting. **EDIT: The pictures below indicate how their assembling team left my apartment, after I had been rescheduled 3 times for a service I paid almost 2 months ago :) **EDIT2: I have posted another photo with my kitchen, after it was finally assembled. I love my new kitchen, but was it worth waiting for 2 months, being rescheduled so many times and calling them several times per day for weeks ? I really like Ikea products, but I will keep my rating at 1/5 just to highlight how disappointing their customer service is. Now I can enjoy my new kitchen, but sometimes, I still have nightmares about being rescheduled!

I have been a customer since their beginnings in RO. I had nothing to reproach! I bought over 30 different products. Everyone knows: quality, simplicity, reliability .... and the HOT Dog waiting for you at the exit, as if it were free ...

The store is well stocked, but very crowded. Too little staff in the store. Impossible to eat at their canteen, the tail of at least 200 people. Equally crowded and undersized is the parking lot, very difficult to get out of there.

Always something nice to buy here. Good price/ quality ratio. Everything is easy to assemble by yourself as every step of the process is explained in detail in the guide. Also, a very good place to get you inspired how to decorate your home. I just love IKEA
