Pretty good store to buy furniture and all kind of stuff for your house.
Delicious and "cheap" food
You could spend hours there looking for good ideaa on how to decorate your house.
You can also leave your children one hour in the playground (only dutch speakers).
Difficult access by train and some products are not always available for sale but exhibited

The food was not good! Schnitzel french fries mayo menu. The meat was very sinewy / bacon! Toilet was not as clean as hoped! Want to eat a hot dog at the exit, they are only sold as sausages in bread! There used to be cucumbers and fried onions ...

Very large assortment! Clear aisles. Good food and drink. Friendly staff and helpful! Easily accessible for wheelchair users and prams. Children can play there.

What I find a downside is that people (customers) let their children romp or jump on beds and couches. You don't do that at home so not in a store !!

It's the IKEA, so these are all the same. Parking is fine, always place. Multiple stores on the square. ikea, media market, bcc, beaver, stray sport, praxis, intersport, prenatal and finally the McDonald's

If you're thinking of upgrading your living spaces...

If you're thinking of upgrading your living spaces with new furniture or decorations, you should definitely pay a visit to Ikea. Apart from buying their products, you can also get a lot of inspiration from just being there. And, they have literally EVERYTHING you need. If you're planning on some DIY, you can also swing by Bauhaus, which is within walking distance from Ikea. Basically the location couldn't be any better. The staff is also very kind and helpful. There is a restaurant-like eating hall, which is great to have breakfast at and another place where they sell hot dogs, ice cream and more. If you're planning on staying long you can drop your kids off at the playing corner.
Despite all of this, you should pay attention to the quality of some products and think twice before purchasing something.

All in all, Ikea is a fun place to go, whether you're alone or with kids and whether you're planning on purchasing something or not. You will most likely find what you need and return home satisfied.

Their deliverers are very bad. My wife at home all day. Call after I am told they could not find my address supposedly. Very poor service from their delivery staff. What is also completely unclear?

Standard IKEA spacious and everything is there.

Standard IKEA spacious and everything is there.

Nearby is a deli france.
Media market and BCC. Fit.for.free and mc donalds.

The location is less because in the middle of the city center of Hengelo Would have been better for tourism and patronage in the city center.

The old v & D PAND in hengelo op de brink is excellent for a media market

Very nice home store. It is very large with many items. Smalland is fantastic for the children. Nice and hour play while mom and dad go shopping. There is also a restaurant where you can drink coffee / tea with a piece of cake. You can also have breakfast, lunch and dinner there.

Fun and cozy a day to Ikea, with the children or on your own, there is always plenty to see and you can also eat and drink for not too much money. Sometimes there is top pressure during the weekend, but on a weekday it is easy to do. It is also very busy on German holidays, it can also be shuffled in the parking lot.
Strangely enough, there is always room in the covered parking garage, where the spots are sometimes slightly narrow.

As with most Ikeas, at the cash registers it is sometimes very busy and you have to wait a long time for the days at the weekend. Anyway, you can set that up, but do not expect that you'll be quick. The staff is always enthusiastic and very friendly and helpful.
I think it is also nice for them to work there, the atmosphere is always good :-D
Beautiful stuff for the small fair.

Cozy (family) store. It is easy to reach. Only downside are some visitors themselves: there is parking on disabled or family parking spaces. IKEA does not do anything with it: you just have bad luck as a family or disabled when someone is too lazy to walk a bit further.

Nice store with large stock, tasty breakfast, lunch or cozy and inexpensive dinner with lots of choice. Free coffee with your pass and enough parking spaces. Convenient that there is a Baby store, Sports store, Mediamarkt, Mc Donald, Bau Haus like the Gamma but much larger and also a KFC present.

Long opening hours in the week and on the we, even every Sunday there is very open on Sunday, but if you do not like that, would rather go there in the week. Staff speaks very good German and helps you further where you can!
