Nice, easily accessible store. Large assortment and stock. Child-friendly. Friendly staff. Delivery service (extra cost), trailer. Sufficient cash registers. Self scan. Spacious loading dock for loading purchased goods. Returns are easy. Restaurant is handy for quick bites. Massive but not bad. Don't expect haute cuisine.

Ikea is always good and the food can also be recommended here, super delicious.

I myself work as a childminder and now I wanted to go back a few weeks .... host child had just turned 3 years old, And finally he was allowed to go to Smaland!
As it turns out, you first changed the policy from 3 to 9 years ... now it goes to length from 95 cm.
Which is really ridiculous .... so if you are small, born small you do not come to Smaland ..... but only when you are 95 cm tall .... just discrimination my daughter now 9 years old is also always been small ..... now she still has the height of a girl of 7 years ... so think it's a really ridiculous rule again hope you will enter again very soon from 3 to 9 years that's just a fair policy!

We have a very bad experience with Ikea Hengelo when selecting a small kitchen unit. First all the chaos that existed during the search. We were placed behind the PC and could figure it out. And approached an employee who hastily gave some explanation and left again. After some hassle, we thought we had done well. During the self-attempt, an employee was arrested every time, who left every time. We thought we had arrested someone again, who was helpful and friendly. This gentleman checked everything, so it turned out that nothing was right. He has also been helpful (so a plus). We were out !! But we wanted to have the kitchen delivered and my hubby would remove the old kitchen herself. We were not told anything about the costs of transport at the time. If that had been done, we would have taken the kitchen with us at that time. Because when the kitchen was delivered, it turned out that we had to pay almost 400 euros in delivery costs. While the dishwasher was already delivered more than 5 weeks before. What and strange idiotic way of dealing with your customers. Called Hengelo yesterday, explained the situation, but they cannot do anything for the customer (we). Then the assembly company In Home, which comes to check and comes to measure. 540 euros, transferring a lot for that time. While it has been said 45 euros per part to assembly verter. IKEA Hengelo what a store!
It is just like an ant's nest so many people or families.
With nothing inside and with a cart full outside again .
Just like me today I bought 8 Sjalland chairs with matching pillows (8) and covers (8).
How easily you walk through the halls there and grab your cart full.
You can pay with card or cash and you get a discount with the family card.
Parking in front of the store or in the parking garage is free and at the exit you have a loading lane where you can easily load your things.
Great store .

Little choice but for the money and quality it is great.
