Ikea, Edinburgh Ltd Review

Simply IKEA, never had a problem with staff, very helpful.

Prices seem to be higher but still got loads of ideas

Great if you like that sort of thing. Helpful staff and interesting foods.

Always a good day out and me and the kids love the cafe

A queue to get in, which moved quickly. But there didn't seem to be any restrictions on numbers. Even pre-covid I've rarely seen it so busy inside - & no chance for any sort of social distancing. A very uncomfortable shopping experience

Even during these times of huge upheaval staff are still magic and really go the extra mile.

The products are great, however, this store is quite disorganised. The floor is likely to remind you of the floor of TK Maxx during a sale.

Staff on tills could be a bit nicer but other than that straightforward experience.

It's IKEA, useful stuff but he'll on earth to be in.

Very nice shopping complex from Ikea. An interested buyer will have lot of options for household items.

Love IKEA and their cafe is the best so much choice and IKEA is like a Narnia love going there

Absolutely love Ikea go they a lot and absolutely love the vegan food?? Wood love to see Ikea get vegan cake as you have.a chocolate cake and it look so yum but not vegan and ?? You sell vegan hotdog which are really yummy but I wish that I could buy them to take home like I buy the frozen veg vegan meetballs

Got what I wanted and plenty ideas. Only problem was restaurant and then hot dog place at end far too busy.

Always find what your needing and more. Lovely restaurant very good priced. Clean toilets.nice staff.

Great store. Nice staff, huge car park and always good to stop for food while your there. We travel from Stirling and it's easy to get to off the motorway.

Great prices with plenty of choices under one roof.

Like all other Ikea stores it is easy to spend lots of time wandering about picking up random items. if you know what you are wanting there are signposted shortcuts throughout the store.

Just had our new kitchen fitted and the service was superb.

Delivery guys were punctual and polite and placed everything safely in our shed until fitting day.

Our joiner Tom was always punctual, kept us up to date with everything and was extremely tidy.

Gas, plumbing and electrics were also great.

Follow up calls by the team in Edinburgh were very welcomed and made it feel that bit more personal and caring

Overall a superb experience from start the design to finishe's product.

Good shop like any other that has all the standard offerings of any other IKEA. It has a nice outside playground for children too.

Too many people allowed in during COVID restrictions. Minimal facemasks

Went to cafe for food. Fresh and friendly service. Walking around the shop was good, got exactly what we needed. Excellent customer services.

Very disorganised but doesn't matter because it has no competition.

Great day out from Dundee. Bus to Edinburgh bus station with pals then bus to Ikea from stance 10. Easy Peasy. Great prices. Good cheap food in cafe.

Exhausting when you're only looking for a few small items. Chasing staff to ask where things are!! Plus, shock, horror, they don't sell toast racks!!

Great meatballs and helpful staff. Some items are not in stock and have not been restocked for weeks, even though staff said they would be.

Massive store with lots of fantastic value home products. Pretty much all of my furniture comes from that great furniture store called IKEA

I love IKEA. The cafeteria is good - especially with a family card at breakfast. The furniture is a good price for what it is and I never feel ripped off.
Just watch out for small items and accessories - these are almost always over priced. Wallplugs are a good example of something that you will pick up in IKEA so that you can install your new shelves as soon as you get home. They are good quality but will cost you significantly more than, say, B&Q.
Whilst IKEA seems to make their money on the small accessories there are exceptions. For example, batteries and light bulbs are always competitively priced.
The moral of the story is that if you are on a tight budget then, one way or the other, don't expect to leave IKEA within it...

Customer service is appalling.
Plus you have to drive to a different building to pick up what you buy in the main building.

Busy as hell with a lack of signage. Bad combination. They do have some pretty cool and well thought-out products though a lot seem to lack quality .

I like it but must say not always a bargain, few items I must say are overpriced. The cafe area had years ago a better option for children. Now it is really boring and we just eat, but won't stay long to have a extra piece of cake etc. Stuff always friendly. And whatever you need to ask or help with no issue at all.

Doesn't everyone love a wander round Ikea. Always something catches your eye, good excuse for something in the cafe too.

It can get a bit crowded during weekends, and the bus can take a long time. But overall it's a decent Ikea.

A great experience...as always. Planning for the next phase in our lives.

Great customer service regarding spare parts..loads of parking

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!
1. It annoys me to have to walk all the way around the entire store ... I know what I want to buy ... why can't I walk straight to it.
2. If your shopping alone for a large item, this is problematic ... you can't get your trolley through the bollards to your car & the trolley cages aren't particularly large. You have no choice but to leave the trolley unattended, while you fetch your vehicle. Not thought out!
3. The food in the restaurant was quite frankly disgusting ... dry, overcooked (even the replacement, having sent it back) and the dessert was stale. Never eat there again!
In all a painful experience!
I'll only go back if I feel I have no other choice!

Ikea is too much of a busy place were things are hard to find and sometimes is not even that cheap

Great products..... shame the about delivery staff... cheeky on the phone... wanted a hand and damaged things when coming into the house. Deserve a bad review.

Just what you'd expect for ikea really, fun wee day out having a walk around, good items and friendly staff. And an AMAZING daim bar cake at the food court

Great store but very dirty restaurant, looks like it's never cleaned, food on floors, sticky dirty tables, very uncomfortable place to eat and not a cleaning member of staff in sight.

Always great to get new ideas. Usually always plenty of stock. Swedish Meatballs (need I say more) Always highly entertained by everyone trying to fit their purchases into the car.
