If you value your marriage then I would avoid on a Saturday morning. If you're a fan of comedy then head along to the car park loading area and you'll have a hoot.

Good restaurant for kids with good food which is reasonably priced. Shop is always nice and clean with friendly staff able to help.

Love IKEA products at the moment the restaurant is open but you have to speak with security on arrival at the door for a reservation or you can just grab a quick snack from the downstairs food court to take away after you finish your shopping

This is the first time I ve bought Ikea furniture & it certainly won t be the last. The service was excellent from start to finish. The fitters were brilliant, they communicated extremely well. We are absolutely delighted with the furniture, it looks great, is very practical & was competitively priced. We would highly recommend this retailer & would certainly use their low cost fitting service again. Well done Ikea!

This was my first visit to an Ikea store. There is so much to see . Everything is laid out in good order. Some many useful things to help in the home. Many many good practical things to help with storage and keep things tidy. So many items at an affordable price. We came out Witt a lot of good ideas in our heads. And you can sit com have a meal mpwjtpt a coffee. Staff are pleasant and helpful. All in all for me it was a great first experience.

Help, help, I'm stuck in the bed section and I've been around the store three times following the arrows. Is someone playing silly buggers? Is this a labyrinth? Will I see my family again? How do I get out?!

Not the place to go at lunchtime! We were there at 1.10pm. Queues horrendous for food and no salads left on the shelf after standing for 15 minutes in the queue. Staff uninterested in helping, when we asked for assistance. Went elsewhere for lunch!

Just love ikea.... friendly helpful staff and always a bargain to be had. Then for a few pennies u can enjoy a quick lunch and a dessert with coffee in the bistro area...... something for everyone!!!

Good place, great choice of products.

Good place, great choice of products.

Be aware that a lot of the family benefits aren't available at the weekend, the time that families are most likely to go which seems a bit shoddy

While it is not so easy to reach by public transport, which was a problem for me, this should not be a concern for most IKEA customers. Once you are there, you will get exactly what you expect - as it is just the same a every other IKEA I have been to.

What's not to love. Everything for your home and garden, and a place to eat. Well organised regarding Covid, although you will need to watch for the odd Covidiot. Queues move quickly and staff are well organised.

Took 3 times repeating myself in retaurant, asked for small portion of meatballs, she proceeded to dish out 15 , , far too many for me to eat, she handed me a kiddies plastic plate, I wasn't bothered, thought it was her being funny

This is the first time I have not been satisfied with the standards in IKEA.
The food was cold, & badly presented, thrown on the plate. Was returned & had to wait for fresh food . Not happy at all.

It's another Ikea, really. If you like one you'll like them all. Big canteen and also a kids creche at the entrance, with a small playpark outside. Also has points to refuel electric cars. Lots of disabled and parent parking.

first visit for sometime - visited on 17 Oct 17
they've installed those dreaded self scans tills since we were last there
Store was busy, Only 2 "manned" tills open - with quite a queue at each
not a great experience

yet they had 2 members of staff at the self scan section

Exhausting. It's a maze. Bought more than I wanted too as per usual. Well done IKEA the displays are innovative. Couldnt "not" visit the restaurant for some meatballs - good overall experience. Staff were very helpful throughout entire store and yes we did ask for a lot of help in different departments.

Not much to make it unique to Edinburgh as Ikea's tend to be much the same - but that's why we like them. Great value on key items and you'll always find something you 'need' when you visit, and it would be a shame to walk away without some Swedish chocoloate or some meatballs. Ample parking - for those coming by bus its the number 47 (or the 37 a short walk away in the retail park, although there aren't great pavements/walkways for a pedestrian to get there). The furniture etc is up on the first floor with the restaurant and the (fairly recently expanded) 'markethall' with the smaller items is on the ground level.

The warehouse resembled a jumble sale and the checkout was a joke. Its been a while since i shopped at Ikea and i was very disappointed. I hate self check out, and the queues were way too long. Wont be going back any time soon.

Go between 4-7 on a Sunday if you know exactly what you're looking for. It's considerably quieter then. Remember and keep some time for the famous meat balls and hot dogs. Although they've stopped doing gravey and sauce due to problems with allergens. 6 quid for a meat ball meal which included chips and a drink (bottomless cup), hotdog meal, again chips and a bottomless cup and a large hotdog. Just as good as some well know chains and much cheaper.

Early closing at 19:00 (Saturday). A lot of stuff on the display, you can always find something interesting, that could be difficult to find otherwise (Today we've found great glasses for machiato latte)
