Excellent place to visit and I love the food section.
No frills Simple furniture store for modern living. The good points - Restaurant, Creche and minders, some furniture and lighting. The bad - you cant help but feel ushered in a hamster like fashion which causes a sense of urgancy. Ground Staff very average. Furniture is well designed but all somewhat cheap materials but cheerful.
Have to wait for the queue to enter.
The Swedish food market can only take away now. I ordered 2 meatballs and some other food, but when I returned to car, only found 1 in the bag. That's disappointing, as they were not busy. Just a suggestion here, always check your food at the counter. :(
Huge place and amazing variety. Room set ups give great design ideas. Once you get used to the system of taking down item numbers and finding them in the warehouse, it's good.
Good for all household stuff but bring a list or your shopping list of wants will exceed your needs list
Great place to wander around and get ideas for your own home.
Disgusting customer service I waited 1 and a half hours on the live webchat only to be told to go into the store and ask I have an old refund card with 45 euro on it that was never used and doesnt have a pin on it and I wanted to ask if it was still valid even though I was told these cards never expire and after waiting so long they told me to go into the shop and ask and when I tried to call ikea they keep telling me that no one is available to answer my questions!
What is there to say, we all know what it is and it is great at doing it. Just the same as any other Ikea outlet.
Always a great shopping experience never disappoints
they have good products, good price. they even have something to drink, food and restaurant. Clean bathrooms.
Easy to get to on the bus, can get quite busy, but a great store nonetheless.
Retrieve my 5 euro bday voucher...and bought some other stuff...nice and handy shop...
This is a shop that revolutionised Ireland, especially for the middle and lower classes. Suddenly people of lower class were able to afford nice looking furniture sets and have them delivered within 24 hours. The surrounding area around ikea is where I grew up and people's homes changed dramatically for the better because of ikea. People are now proud of their homes and their homes look good. It probably improved people's lives more than the whole Ballymun regeneration process. People are now actually excited about their homes. Well done ikea! Thank you!
Great place to shop they think of every thing to fit out a house, its all under the one roof !!!
Worst delivery service ever.
Every delivery attempt returned with a broken item. The re-schedule is a joke...
great for shopping .. children and parking .. you can also get food here very inexpensive
Great products, unique but deceptively expensive. Never able to get out without dropping less than 150.
Amazing. Love every time we take a little trip to buy stuff in IKEA. I love going in the shop rather than buying online because you see loads of rooms and get some many ideas. Couldn't recommend more
Massive, easy to get lost for a few hours. Great though. Everything you could ever need is here.
If your coming to ikea plan to spend alot of time and money they have everything and miles of space to show what they have
Lots of products to choose from. Lots of family orientated facilities.
Big Blue Cube Of Doom!
So far I've bought a kitchen, dining room, sitting room including couch, kids room including bed, and a wardrobe and bedside lockers for master bedroom, all the soft furnishings and all the cutlery, glasses, plates etc, all the lighting, picture frames, feature pictures, clocks, hooks and did I mention the kitchen sink....
Everything works, everything is easy to build and everything seems sturdy and long lasting...
I've lost countless hours of my life and still suffer a sense of impending doom when my wife suggests we just nip in for something quick.... it's never quick...... you have been warned!
Oh yeah I got half the bathroom there too....
The worst return service in the World. Waiting times comparable to A&E. Take a pillow, phone charger amd sandwiches.
It was so great seeing the show but the nightmare become when you are going to get the things from the warehouse no enough signals the staff doesn't have a clue where are they placed and the girl in the information is really slow.
Good facilities, good value....impossible not to around in circles despite the arrows on the floor! There isn't a straight walkway anywhere so you visit every nook and cranny whether you want to or not!
Do not get ikea click and collect. You will have to wait for hours. Either get delivery, wait for restrictions to be lifted or shop elsewhere. They do not have an adequate infrastructure to accommodate click and collect and it is absolute chaos.
I love to come to this place to argue with my wife. We come with a simple plan, "to buy just a few things" (her words), and we invariably end up doing the full showroom maze walk (I think it's equivalent to two and a half marathons) and stuffing the trolley with a million things that will barely fit in our car. The tiredness and the differences in opinions on what's essential and what's not is a sure recipe for marital fun. Thankfully the products themselves are fairly priced, the quality is good, and the building instructions are top notch. But wait, there is more. When you arrive home, the fun continues when you unpack the million pieces and rev up your power tool. You can almost feel like a child building legos. Almost. Best shop ever. Wouldn't buy our furniture anywhere else.
Small pieces can be bought in the store, large pieces are recommended to be ordered on the website, of course, you can go to the store to look at the items in advance and then place an order on the website. The procedure is much more convenient, and the shipping cost is also better than the direct store booking. In addition, the entity has a booklet, you can also register members, they will mail the booklet. There are some simple and lovely inventions
Awesome shop for cheap products. Wide variety of products to be chosen from. Has a food store (best cakes for price/taste). Only downside is its location which is very hard to find at first.
Very helpful staff. Very happy with the time that was given to us while designing our kitchen
Terrible online experience. Waiting for 2 months on an order.
Great place to decorate your home. Reserve at least 3 hours and have a great time there. Try their meat balls ... I'm sure you will like it.
You get what you pay for. Most of the furniture looks and feels cheap.
Just love the place I could walk around all day, nice cafe and food. Very child friendly Xmas shop is up. I visited on Sunday midday and the store was very busy, I think if you wanted to have a proper look a Monday or Tuesday would be better.
Always been a fan of this shop, however four weeks ago we ordered a mattress and it came with a hole on it. We returned it and we were told we were going to get a refund on a gift card, 4 weeks have passed and it hasn't happened. I just spoke to a lady in the customer service who explained me the mattress never arrived to the store, she did stress that was nothing to do with us but delayed our refund. She was very patient and helpful but waiting for a refund for 4 weeks is still ridiculous. There should be better ways to track returns on the system considering it is a mattress not a 7 euro toilet brush.
I requested me gift card to be emailed to me rather than to be delivered in the post as it will take way longer and still that is a service that is not provided
I still stress out of all the agents in ikea I have talked to she has been the nicest but still, pretty disappointed about this messed up in my order.
Will not shop here again.
If you can't find what your looking for here ,You haven't yet decided what you want .
Much more enjoyable experience in quieter off-peak times
A must if you want to get ideas and reasonably priced furniture huge store and loads of parking
A place to go to test your patience.....check out staff need a little lesson in customer training!!!.(older generation)...intfact at lot !! ....there a little bit institutionalised.....and there stock is not great ....ie you buy a wardrope...and theres items missing .....
We carted two small babies across town to buy a kitchen. Were told we needed an appointment to buy a kitchen and all appointments for the next 4 weeks are already booked & their system only goes out 4 weeks. Asked to speak to a manager who was unapologetic and offered no solutions. I will never, EVER step foot into this cesspit of a store again. They lost a lot of future business from a young family that just moved into an empty house. And also I should note I called them before I went in to see how buying a kitchen worked and was not told anything about needing an appointment.
Great creche for ova 3's kids enjoy while u look around everything literaly under one roof brilliant would highly recommend
IKEA DELIVERY
If there is anyway to avoid it, do not use the delivery service we had a terrible experience. Our house is located 15 minutes away from the store, we ordered on the Saturday day and were told same day delivery we cancelled our plans stayed in all day and night only to be rang at 10pm to say the delivery would not be made, its now Monday we were told between 1.30 and 2.30 we have still not received the delivery and get fobbed off every time we call, I'll get someone to call you back etc.... we have still yet to receive a call back. 75 Euro to be given the run around, we could have walked the furniture back quicker!
Not as busy as I thought wheelchair friendly restaurant in demand but the food was dry.
Does was it says on the instructions. IKEA IS IKEA. Simple
Had everything I wanted in stock only thing was that the queues took a while but that was just a Saturday afternoon.
Good quality products and a great range of products
