Would be 5 stars if I knew prices of competitors. Great selection for all outdoor plants and equipment.

This is a great place to get vegetable starts for your garden. Farm animals they have it.

Tried to return 5 dying garden plants that I bought less than a week ago, no returns without a sales ticket, although they know they came from the store. Went to Home Depot and bought new plants, no more business with IFA and hope you see this before you also get ripped off!!

I like the place! The wood chips and pellets and hay for my guineapigs are great priced and it s a necessity for them! With the fact that I can keep their habitat clean because I can afford the constant upkeep really helps with these guys trying to litter train with pellets to hopefully make the job easier and cleaner!

I just like this place. As an armchair gardener, I am not their target audience, but being around all of that farmy stuff makes me feel like I'm going to be successful with my little pack of seeds. I see the little chicks in the spring and want to raise some backyard chickens. I dunno, maybe someday I will.

We bought the IFA 4-step fertilizer program this year for the first time. I carefully (I thought) followed directions on the bag for amount, temperature, watering, etc. But I guess I wasn't careful enough with the spreader, and two days later, found unsightly dead spots in what had been a perfectly green lawn. Personally, I will never again use the IFA weed-and-feed fertilizer. It seems to be very unforgiving. Also, it is not cheap. I used Scotts last year, and no problems.

They always have what I need and provide great service!

Employees were very helpful and answered questions without hesitation. Only downside was how busy they get Saturday mornings.

Love it! They have a variety of nice items. They have rabbits and chicks. Which make me want to buy them all! But I try to adopt. They have a lot of animal food like rabbit food. And pickled eggs!

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects of livestock and agriculture. Who am I kidding? I have chickens bees and a big yard and garden in the city. They're great to us and know tons about local solutions. We even got free tickets to the sheepdog classic in Midway a couple years ago because the manager kept seeing us in the store so much.

Great place for animals and farming equipment. Also the Amish brand food is amazing. Love the different jams and jellies to choose from. Wife gets the hay for the guinea pigs there. Great locally grown Timothy hay at a low price Jojo's best.

I bought an Ameraucana from them and they lied! It was an Easter Egger. I still love my little hen but it's not what was advertised. IFA prices are also higher than Tractor Supply Company up at Woods Cross. I think next time I'll go to a breeder instead to ensure I get the correct breed. At least my Blue Australorp hen was as advertised.

This is one of my two favorite finds in Salt Lake. I am certainly no farmer, but their selection of dog supplies and food is unlike any I've ever seen, especially if you like to buy the big bags. New discovery: "Victor" brand dog food, which seems to be knocking off Taste of the Wild, which they also sell (at the lowest price I've seen). Also a great selection of leashes and collars, including some beautiful, Made in the USA leather ones (lined with deerskin). They carry many pet stain and odor removers, including a few I hadn't seen, again at the lowest prices I've ever seen. And they have Sulfadene shampoos and other products which have been recommended to me but I have otherwise not seen at any retailer. Fun to buy my dog food at a store that sells cute baby chicks (though I shudder to think about people buying the adorable bunnies they sell to raise for meat)! I love this store! Whenever I go in the store, it makes me want to chew on a piece of straw. I know that is kind of a stereotype, but it is a good stereotype.

A well-kept store with a wide variety of materials for all your farming/ gardening needs. They also have a spot to drop off and pick up older chickens - something I needed when a stray rooster wandered into our yard!

I haven't been here in years, but I think I'll go back. The current help there were friendly and helped me find what I needed. They stock about anything I could possibly want, and the prices are ok. Compared to Home Depot, some are higher, some about the same, but it's a much nicer shopping experience and that counts for a lot.

These guys have a great selection of work boots! Carolinas, Red Wings, Keenes and more. Also their Carhart bibs selection is larger than the Carhart stores. And of course they have feed etc.

Very disappointed to enter their store this weekend (end of May) and discover that half of their employees weren't wearing face coverings and most of the guests in the store weren't wearing protective masks (to protect ME) or practicing social distancing. I left.

The staff was very kind and helpful. They were also very informative and knew their stuff. Helped us to get some additional chickens for our egg production. It is also very easy to get to half of the to 201 highway.
