Bad customer service.we arrived on time,they had time to send us to flight.they dont wantto understand the situation with 4 kids,they told check-in closed and buy tickets for next flight.

Pleasant airport. Friendly service. An unforgettable experience during landing. Welly lifts.

About as exciting as an airport can be really.
Few shops to browse and foodstalls at airport prices.
Lounge seats particularly hard on the backside when your flights get delayed or fogged in.

Wellington airport has Gollum from lotr towering over you in the eating area. It's a bit grotesque, but it's interesting and adds a lot of character. I fly to and from Wellington airport and I find it reasonably nice. I would prefer it if there were a few more places with comfortable seating.

No sign to guide you to a taxi stop. I have to ask information counter

It's a great wee airport EXCEPT the 'where to go' signage for cars is (and always has been) useless.

Why don't you let Uber into the pick up section of the airport. It's rude, inconvenient and forces people to have limited resources for transport.

Beautiful city to fly into, Nice airport (new and old in areas) but pretty good overall. Parking looks a little hectic but looks like it s just been upgraded / still under construction but can t really comment as only hired a car (short walk) - also only a short drive to the city hub taking Evans Bay Parade - B e a uuuutiful :D

On a side note and maybe someone can answer but Wellington is the only City (that I have been to over my life) that when I descend into, I have the worst ear pressure!!! Like grown man crying pressure hahaha (neurofen/Earplanes (ear plugs) are now a must) have been on hundreds of flights and for some reason Wellington is one I need to prepare for :D

It was pleasant and uncrowded. The global pandemic may explain the lack of crowding.

The airport is pretty good except for the variety of food outlets.

This is a lovely little airport! I really like how they promote NZ high-street brands as opposed to usual DFS fare. Tip: avoid the coffee vendor in the food court and head straight for Mojo.

Great place with lots of things to do while waiting

It wasn't that bad. A bit slow when boarding the plane but it was a good experience.

well designed airport easy arrival lounge and departure great views toward the tarmac and across to the bay and views to the cook strait and bay pick up and transport to the city via shuttles service. airport well worth a visit for aviation enthusiasts.plenty of eateries worth trying , airport a very relax atmosphere.

What a terrible 'dingee' airport. For an international airport it leaves alot to be desired Needs work.

Having just spent 25 minutes sitting on the tarmac waiting for a gate today you get a one star...finally we were at least able to get off...but frankly a shambles

Good airport, nice size (small but has everything you need). Domestic and international departs from same building. Modern and clean inside - toilets immaculate. A few souvenir shops (not too expensive), icebreaker merino, bookstore (both expensive) and plenty of range for food and coffee. No oneworld lounge sadly. Never much of a queue for check in. Parking is expensive, but up to ten minutes free for dropoffs. Downstairs is arrivals, upstairs departures. Public bus to airport is #91 (airport express) but it may be cheaper for you to just get a day ticket ($9.50) for travel to cbd and the hutt valley. Takeoff is usually beautiful. Lookout for the model eagles from Lord of the Rings suspended from the departures hall roof!! Undergoing expansion as we speak.

A busy airport for the capital, well designed, clean and efficient. If you are LOTR fans, this airport is a must visit, this is the "Middle of Middle Earth". Especially the food court, where you can see all the famous LOTR characters in action, such as Gandalf soaring the roof on a giant eagle and Gollum going for the ring.

The fun hobbit-themed stores and modern seating areas are nice in this airport. Plenty of art to view while you wait.

If it's your first time don't forget to check out the huge statue of Gandalf riding the giant eagle in the terminal. You can't miss it!

Wonderful architecture inside the airport. Staff is not the kindest, but it could be that we had our flight in the early morning!

In my opinion Wellington has the most user-friendly airport in Australia and NZ. I know it is small but it is nicely decorated, small and easy to navigate and there are plenty of seats. There is free wifi and it is clean.

Easiest airport I have experienced after traveling over 20 counties. Efficient and coolest airport in my eyes.

Very few masks being worn in communal areas until actually boarding a plane. Was a bit surprised by people being so casual

Small but world class terminal and only a short distance to Wellington City. By far the best airport in New Zealand (sorry Auckland).

The app-based taxi area is a great addition. The food and beverage options are 10/10

Small, efficient with plentiful eating / shopping options (for it s size). We ended up here on multiple occasions as we traveled around NZ. Really hard to find an issue. The Hobbit / LOTR deco quite stunning :)

Easy to navigate and great airport but parking is expensive.

Nice airport, undergoing some expansion and upgrades, plenty of food and drink on offer as well as a handy drop off zone if you need to do it in a hurry. Singapore Airlines as well as Qantas, Air New Zealand fly in and out of this airport.

No issues with Wellington Airport as it was easy to navigate and find our way around when we came through.
The cafes are expensive as like most airports. The car parking is normally always busy and there are enormous numbers of taxis. Only use the quick parking (if it's possible) is a good idea if you are being picked up or dropped off by a private vehicle.
When it is busy, and it can be, get to the airport early because it will take some time to get through to your flight.

Our flight leaves at 9.30pm. Everything closes at 7.15 except subway. Which was okay . Ridiculous . So many people wanting food but nothing open. Not okay

Plenty of parking this morning, helpful Air NZ staff and not too crowded.

Bloody expensive parking. $137 for 3 days in a disabled spot. Won't fall for that again.

I must say it's odd how some gates seem to have security checkpoints and some don't. Parking and the roadways also seem a little confusing right now with the nearby construction. Easy airport to walk to though and walking all the way around the runway is quite fun. They've got public showers available too which is cool. Small overall place.

we loved flying into new zealand.and had a great time there...

The Airport is really small and the WiFi is not the best so I would recommend to be at the airport not too early because you can only go through the security 45 minutes before Boarding.

My experience was good with this Airport

Was ok, but can be better. When the check in system replaced everything, it can be a bit challenging to find a real person who actually willing and happy to help you.

Not many food choices, is a small airport to be fair

Increasingly busy and possibly too busy/understaffed for what it has become. Still better than most. I hope theyupgrade the terminal before the runway.

ok bad weather is not the fault of wellington airport. but if you are forced to stay the night here, it would good to turn off at leased the bloody ambient music at the gates. very loud and at 01:00 nobody is interessted in listening. its impossible to get some sleept or a rest. the only place that is quiet are the stairs to the nz regional lounge. but you cant stay there.. i have been in airports all over the world, but i have never seen that.
then the airport is some time in its current location and now an airport hotel is build. very quick ;)) it sounds unfair, i know.
the flight information displays show different contents, depending where you are stitting...
delivery of pa information is slow and often you dont understand a word.
so consumer advice: try to avoid wellington airport over night stays.

Very nice airport, but famous for the runway winds that make it very difficult to take off and land.

Wonderful service from the Subway downstairs. Very busy but well staffed and quick service. All smiles from the team. Delicious food, great value.

I love this airport. It's small but that's exactly why it's enjoyed and the round trip is easy. There are rich cafes and places to buy food or souvenirs. There are also showers. The best is the deco of the middle earth
The bondi to go to the city is around the turn is orange and spends all the time expert see night schedules

The airport of the coolest little capital of the world couldn't be different! Wooden decoration just makes it more cozy. Very nice shops too, pity not all were open when I was there at 5am.

absolutely appalling. At 730pm on a Thursday every food place is closed except for one.... Serving crusty day old sandwiches. Shame on you wellington airport.

Small cozy airport. Needs some more direct international flights to and from malaysia, china and hongkong. Always had good experience especially now with increased parking capacity.

Had to wait for someone to operate the air bridge once last time, and now we have to wait for a gate this time. Wellington airport not only can t operate many international flights, it also can t provide basic satisfactory service? What a shame for this cool little city
