Place has good food and ambience. Very friendly staffs.

Went for dinner buffet. As expected, local food only. While the food was good and service was decent, compared to Carousell's massive variety across the street, the value for money was a lot lower. Maybe they should add in a diy hotpot component to increase the value.

went for team lunch at straits kitechen, it was fabulous. they organized a birthday cake with candle for a co worker of ours.

Went to the Straits kitchen for Sunday morning breakfast. Different types of cuisine to suit your Sunday. However the road leading to the entrance. Of the parking was terrible. Potholes. Unevenroad. High humps. Be careful when u enter. Drive slow.

If you are a light sleeper, this is the hotel for you. I am extremely sensitive to sounds. The room I stayed in had absolutely no sound at all, not from the outside, not from the a/c. It was perfect! I haven't slept so well in a LONG while. The beds are super comfy and the breakfast and tea time are on the top floor for in-house guests. That is awesome!

Went to collect a cake which I ordered online. Ended up waiting 15 min because the wordings I want are not prepared yet. Cake was delicious though!

The hotel was well kept, the staffs are polite and helpful. The wedding banquet staffs are professional and well mannered. The function room is classy and sophiscated. Excellent place for functions and business events.

I lived in six years, a luxurious and clean hotel, where the toilet shattaf buffet did not experience it. The hotel s advantage is that it is close to Orshad Street and the train station and its prices are high.

My first time to stay here. From the review, it scared me a bit of its oldness. Nonetheless, hotel is well maintained. Room is clean and no smell. Bathroom is huge. Bidet spray is a bit confused to use. Bed and pillow is comfortable. What I don t like is its lighting system in the room.

Location wise is not bad yet it s not as good as Marriott next door. It s a bit of walk from Orchard and to MRT particularly when u come with aged parents.

This hotel has been at this location for a very long time. My earliest memory of this hotel goes back to the seventies. Historical location. Many changes to the hotel since. Brings back many fond memories.

Fantastic hotel, one of the best in Singapore. Service is top notch, the Grand Club lounge is excellent and the restaurant choices on the property are great - give Straits Kitchen a try for all the local flavors.

Grand Hyatt is known for their food and for good reason. The dinner I had was very worth the money. They use high quality ingredients and put a lot of attention to the food prepared

Been there for staycations, meals, and weddings. Rooms are generally spacious and clean (for suites, deluxe and standard rooms). Service has been good throughout the years. A geat place to host weddings, but do expect some service delays due to manpower shortage if all of its ballrooms are fully booked on the same day.

In the heart of Orchard Road and within walking distance from Orchard MRT. Great selection of buffet lunch and a tap room to chill out.

If someone suggests to go to Brix and you don t have someone with you that s staying at the hotel, then don t go. Brix is a novelity, full of business travellers and the cover charge isn t worth it.

Had a lovely italian lunch buffet at Pete's place. The tiramisu was very good!

There are a lot of waiters and the service is especially in place.

A wonderful 5 star hotel in the middle of orchard Road. The facilities are well maintained and tastefully arranged. Nice hotel to stay if are visiting Singapore first time with good budget for accommodation.

the buffet food was okay, but i wished there waa more choices like sashimi and finger foods

Service is nice and there is a nice spread of local cuisine for the buffet. I highly recommend trying out the buffet.

Very nice hotel, ideally situated for guests who want to stay close to the Orchard road area. Top staff, very efficient. Good dining options. Breakfast will accomodate all tastes. On the lower side, the technical amenities in the room should be better: bluetooth speaker, smart tv.... The room are quite large and confortable though.

The place is beautiful and the food at the restaurant is totally worth every single cents.

Was there for a wedding reception. Food wise is exquisite although I had to go and self serve the drinks myself when the waiters and waitresses aren't being attentive enough to notice the glasses/cups of the guests were emptied.

The chinese tea was not hot after requesting to change it twice . The scallop during the cocktail reception was fantastic though

Nice hotel in the middle of downtown area.shopping mall every where but expensive.

Don t go there!
They claim to be a 5 stars, they rate barely a 4 stars hotel.
Room maybe be bigger than more recent hotel but they are old and out-dated.
Service is not their priority, no effort is made for you and obviously once you pay, they are done with you.
Last but not least they charge additionally your credit card during your stay without asking you.
This is quite intrusive and having your card registered anyway they can wait for your checkout.
This is the practice of a backpacker hotel...
You may go there for location but there are better hotel in the area
