Hyatt Singapore Review

Very old yet well taken care of hotel in orchard area
In it they have Pete's place/ Italian restaurant
For me personally, I don't really like the food served there
Service was excellent
As what you would expect from a 5 star hotel's restaurant
But I tried both the pizza and pasta
I found nothing special about them
Place and decor was very nice
Very classic Italian
But then again would be perfect if they provide good food also
The pizza especially was very chewy and rubbery
Not crispy and I remember that I tried the truffle pizza
The truffle was not nice
They should have put a touch of truffle oil to boost the truffle flavor
Cause I reckon that the truffle being used were also of lower grade
Thus, the smell were not strong enough

I only used the bathroom, but I must say, very clean, modern bathrooms.

Attended a wedding there. Pre-banquet reception hall is one of the nicer ones around with great food and cocktails. Banquet food was equally good. Hotel is situated in the heart of Singapore and for a hotel its age, it has well surpassed my expectations for holding large scale events!

Ballroom is very nice. Food presentation for the wedding banquet is nicely plated

My friends checked in this hyatt and commented that the place is getting old and drabby, service is good though

A very nice accommodation and location at the corner of Scott road and Orchard road

It's very unhygienic here. Service is slow. Rooms are not as good as many other luxury hotels.

Visited straits kitchen. Good service. Food however is not as good as before.

The lobby was very clean. Area easy to navigate to the ballroom for friend's wedding. Servers were professional and friendly. Banquet food was very good and tasty. Carpark a little run down and old though.

Was at Grand Hyatt to have a drink at the Martini bar at mezza9. The place is newly renovated and I love the wide extension of martinis available. The surrounding was modern and cosy. A perfect place for an evening drink. I did find the lobby to be a little too overcrowding and messy. But other than that all is fine. I enjoy walking into the hotel feeling pleasant and inviting.

Grand Hyatt is relatively convenient with it situated in orchard, with bus stops and the orchard mrt nearby.

It is convenient from the main street of Orchard. The room is lovely with some sort of funny eyebrows and pictures like photos.

Gre8 food and lot of variety of food. Blessing for Indian separate counter for Indian food

Great drinks a couple drinks only native to Singapore also they have a good variety of dishes during high tea

I'm surprised that the staff have ever been found to be less than polite and helpful.

Orchard Road is almost facing and very convenient to go shopping, eating, and going. Both the facilities and the staff are great.

Straits kitchen serves fantastic food. My australian guest loves it

Was at Mezza9, a very posh restaurant with great ambience. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was great. Pricey but yes this is Hyatt hotel.. can only expect the best. One of the must try is the BLUE SWIMMER CRAB CAKES. Super good!! Been here for the brunch buffet, they have unlimited champagne option. Reasonably priced with quality food and variety of choices. Will come back always!

I only went to collect wedding invitation cards from the hotel on behalf of my best friend. But the staffs I met were friendly and attentive

Food at Straits Kitchen is a must try if you visiting Singapore..it's one stop shop for great food under one roof!

Actually first time I have to debate whether to give Grand Hyatt property a 3 star or 4 star!! The rooms in this hotel are quite old and run down I feel especially the ones towards the back end portion of hotel where you take elevators across the waterfall. The rooms really need to be upgraded! That said the service was great and the breakfast is exceptional in fact one of the best I have had! For breakfast it's a 5 star. And location too is great.

Good location near the mrt, tasty and unique wedding course meal

The delightful ambience surrounding The Gallery (Level 2) @ Grand Hyatt, which can be found in the heart of Orchard Road, makes it an ideal place to hold wedding events. My family, relatives, friends and myself had a wonderful time when we attended a lunch reception held there. The services provided were exceptionally good. Food served was generally able to meet most expectations, but still has room for improvement.

Comfy rooms, nice spa, but the real stars of the show here are the staff. They treated me like a long-time friend, and were extremely attentive and amicable. Can't wait to visit again!

Lovely ambience located in the heart of the shopping district.

The pizza place is as described. We'll established with food enough to satisfy even the needy person. Authentic food with good staffing.

Location, the service, the ambiance, the concierge is friendly, accessible, on point. I loved their restaurant, exceptionally well. The best place I had vegetarian food in Singapore. However, if you plan on staying for more than a couple of days, go for slightly cheaper hotels because you hardly get time to avail the facilities of hotel and will not mess up your budget, Good luck.
