Hyatt Singapore Review

The exterior of the hotel could be upgraded. Other than that i love the interior and how expensive it feels. I havent tried the rooms but hopefully it is as pleasant as the common areas.

Had buffet lunch at straits kitchen. Great variety of local dishes and yummy to boot. However the offerings are all quite hearty.. So feel quite filled with carbohydrates

Exquisite hotel, didn't stay here but did stop in for the breakfast buffet. For 38 SGD it was worth it. Super delicious with many stations to choose from depending on your personal tastes. The service is professional and very accommodating. The common elements are very beautiful done; love the orchids arrangements, and modern feel. Highly recommend.

Best all round hotel for the price. In particular, the water pressure is very satisfying.

all grand hyatt's lack that special 5-star touch. it's nice and i think 5-star but bland.....especially the club lounge. i have been to numerous g hyatt club lounges and they always are lacking....this is no different.

Adequately spaced lobby for chauffeurs to park and wait for their guests

The hotel is situated in a prime location. It is very accessible.

If you are visiting Singapore and nearby Orchad area, and would like to try local food, visit Strait Kicthen for buffet all you can eat n Grand Hyatt.

My favorite Hotel in Singapore. Service is excellent. Room always good. The food and its restaurants are also fantastic.

The hotel is located at Scotts road 2 mins walk from the Orchard Road and all the major shopping malls.
The quality of of the room is great, all the in-room amenities are complete, very comfortable bed and good selection of pillows to choose. Bathroom is spacious with bathty and separate shower cubicle and toilet.
Breakfast is good for shortstay, verities of foods can be better.
Last put not the least, most of the staff are helpful and friendly enough.

Friendly staff, perfect rooms, rates are on the expensive side and the breakfast lounge is dark for lack of daylight.

As a singaporean, what are the chances of us stepping into Grand Hyatt, either it was a wedding, a conference or a buffet meal at mezza9. But this time I was here for a different reason.

Being a foodie, when I saw an online post about this dining experience Le Petit Chef some time (couple of years back) and when I saw that it s coming to Singapore, I know I need to go for it.

It was one of the best food experience I ever had. As we were warmly and yet humorously welcomed by the host Iggy, we were then lead into La Cave the wine cellar or mezza9 and then the entire experience was just more fun and more wowing...

The food was eye opening for some dishes but being in singapore we do have our fair share of multi national cuisine from all parts of the world... the themed menu was indeed very interesting twist to make it slightly more modern.

Love the lemon grass serbert with chilli oil (yes it s chilli oil as a palate cleanser)

It was a food experience not to be missed and Grand Hyatt has extended the show till July 2020. Grab your seats as they only seat 16 pax per serving... and maybe pair it with one of the few most expensive bottle of wine in the world? Found in the cellar.

Mezza9 Took away the grill section in the kitchen. Real shame.

Well maintained 5 stars hotel located at Orchard road. Must try the desserts at mezza9, you will not be disappointed with the chocolate cake. :-)

Ambience and set up was nice. However, the door mechanics pose a danger and inconvenience. It does not have a sensor mechanism for safety and auto open

10 Scotts at the Grand Hyatt has one of the best free flow Champagne afternoon teas in Singapore. Savoury dishes are brought out on a tiered stand & extra servings can be requested. Desserts, charcuterie & cheese are served buffet style. Lots of variety so there will be something for everyone. Sat/Sun 12:00-14:30/15:00-17:30 $88++ The Oasis Restaurant offers a more relaxed dining experience. On Friday & Saturday evenings there is a BBQ Buffet with free flow Tiger, wine, prosseco & margaritas. Good selection of meat, fish, salad & dessert dishes at a chilled poolside location. Fri/Sat 17:30-21:00 $88++ The hotel is also less than a 10 minute walk away from Orchard MRT.

Comfortable king deluxe room. Great and polite staffs when we requested for ice. The alacarte breakfast was however, terrible. Would come back again, but do not recommend breakfast.

Was at Grand Hyatt for a conference, the ballroom door at The Gallery was really annoying that it kept opening while the speaker was talking. Other then that food and drinks were excellent.

Just had lunch buffet at Straits Kitchen this afternoon with colleagues.. Would like to highlight the great service received by servers name Anarul and Ania (hope I get your names right). Both are very helpful and prompt in service delivery, considering this is the new way of doing buffet - we order via contactless menu, server takes order, and they bring the food to the table. It is obvious that the restaurant is lack of manpower, but both staff served with enthusiasm and have been very friendly. Thank you for your service, Anarul and Ania.

Charges are very high because it is close to Orchard and an iconic landmark in Singapore. Otherwise, St Regis, Westin, Pan Pacific (marina) provide better amenities and value.

Room is big and comfortable although the interior design of the room is a bit dated.

As others have mentioned the hotel is a bit dated versus the newer modern design hotels but that is what gives the place history and a sense of heritage. Check in was a breeze and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Showers had good water pressure which is important to me.

Decent array of Malay/local SG food. The chicken rice is recommended. Also would recommend the Indian section. Otherwise the desert section does not have any good bakery which was a disappointment. Expected better from such a big hotel chain.

Horrible staff and service. Rooms aren't kept up and really not worth it. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My friends and I had dinner at the Mezza9 restaurant. Foods were great as usual. However we noticed something that didn't pleased us at all. When we asked where are the breads. The reply came back as, we start charging for that.... not good. Also the service is slower than our past experience. Together with charging of breads, we guessed must be some cost saving measurement the hotel takes.... reduced staff. Anyhow it was the usual great food and great place.

Nice pool, awesome lounge spa facilities. I enjoyed using the gym, whirlpool and saunas. The front desk service was personal, attentive, and checking in doesn't take very long. Room was clean and inviting.

Good F&B options and excellent customer service as always.
