Great value for a Hyatt Regency resort . Be Aware that on-site dining, shops, pools, and valet are all closed due to COVID (as of December 2020). They do still charge a $15 resort fee and some amenities are still available. But even with the fee it is still an incredible value.
The resort is very clean and safe, located on an amazing property and the rooms are very spacious.

We stayed for four nights during Christmas break a...

We stayed for four nights during Christmas break at this hotel. Let me warn you, this is going to be a long review.
I would start by saying that this hotel has a great potential: the location is great, the facilities are good, the food is delicious, the pools are good too (only one slightly heated pool and an overheated whirlpool are open during winter months, no slides) .
Now with the level of customer service they need a lot of work to be done. We were greeted by a very unhelpful lady named Sheryl, who made us feel like it was a huge favor checking us in. We asked our questions just to hear unclear answers from her, and she didn t even bother to look at us when she was talking because she was too busy charging our credit card (somehow it took her a long long time and she of course didn t bother to explain our charges).
Ok, we thought it happens, people get tired, or have bad days. Moving on.
The rooms are nice, the mattresses are comfortable. The view from the main entry area is absolutely great.
Another incident worth mentioning is that they do offer an array of activities for the kids and adults, even mention they have childcare. However, you have to reserve it all at least 24 hours prior to the day. Except for a few things. Like craft making: my son chose a $12 package to make three bars of soap, all seemed well until the instructor poured the microwaved soap into the molds, she filled them 1/4 of the depth of the mold! You could hardly see any shape of the mold. I mean it is not something very important, but it does affect and reduce your enthusiasm for crafts at Hyatt ))) just ridiculous I think.
The archery lesson we booked for both of or kids was not anything like the experience above. It was actually a good class with good instructors. Our kids had fun.
Another event that was great is Story telling by the fire. It was told by one of the Pueblo people who work close with Hyatt and own some part of the resort (not sure about the details). His style of storytelling was great, the stories were interesting and with some modern twists to keep the listeners entertained, the whole setup around the fire pit was great. I could listen to his stories every night ))
Now, my worst experience of the customer service at Tamaya Hyatt is the financial side. Each and every single thing we charged on the room (or we thought so) was actually sent to our card as a pending charge. Every single thing for as low as the $12 soap making! And (I ll remind that the whole four night stay for two rooms we had, was authorized at the check in by Sheryl) Hyatt kept authorizing a per night per room charge to our card on a daily basis again! And that s after charging us for the whole stay upfront! I wouldn t be this upset because it s just pending charges, but we are now building our credit score, and this stay maxed out our card! And we cannot pay it off, because most of them are pending charges. I tried to get a hold of a manager to help us solve this, I only was able to find her on the day of our checkout. She seemed nice and helpful, however, it s been some time now and the pending double charges are still there!
I m sorry for such a long review, but this financial misunderstanding is just too upsetting to actually have sweet memories of the place. Never again. It s not worth it. I d rather stay at a different hotel. Or just pay good old cash.

Secluded but not remote location, with incredible views of Sandia mountains and , very helpful staff. Plenty of things to do. Large family oriented pool plus a really nice quiet adult pool. Enjoyed laying by pool and listening to Pueblo man play a soothing calming flute next to pool. Hiking, bicycle trails. Beautiful golf course adjacent. Nice well-appointed rooms. Refrigerator, water bottles replaced daily, bath robes, etc. Class place.

Gorgeous setting for lunch but my food was inedible. To their credit they removed the item from the bill but still left a bad impression about the food. Did not stay there but it looked lovely.

The Easter egg hunt was chaos! We arrived 2 hours early because they forgot to change the time and didn't update their website. Also, the Easter hunt was at noon. Felt rushed due to reservations for brunch. (Poor planning) in addition they had the Easter egg hunt in 3 different areas (by age group) this was good however, if you had children in different age groups, you couldn't watch them all at the same time (lack of consideration for parents with multiple children)
The place is very clean and cultural! The Easter buffet was AWESOME.

Staff were very friendly and catering, the location was remote and peaceful, the service was really fast, amazing food. Lost a star because our bathroom didn't have a lock and when the AC shut off it would make loud clicking sounds.

I came here for a four day conference and was so happy I chose to stay here. The resort itself is an amazing piece of property, out in the middle of nowhere it seems....but close to many restaurants and things to do. They have two excellent restaurants on site that we went to. The Corn Maiden and Santa Ana Cafe. Excellent food with top notch service at both of them. Everywhere you went, employees stopped what they were doing to say good morning, or asked if they could help you with anything. Pools were beautiful as were the grounds. Definitely will be coming back here in the future. You will not be disappointed

This is a very nice resort full of great staff. The rooms are very nice with a superb atmosphere. The restaurants are great, although the quality of the food in Santa Ana Cafe has slipped quite a bit and the staff sometimes seem to be preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves instead of being attentive. The pool areas are very nice and gives you a somewhat tropical feel. The Twin Warriors Golf Club has an excellent golf course and amazing staff, I play there frequently.

Employees are nice and helpful but, first room was like a cave, dark gloomy and balcony was covered in bird poop and sliding door didn't lock. Second room, was ok, view is decent, huge hotel, eh. Parking is a mile away, lots of golfer old people, better places to stay in the area in my opinion...

We didn't stay at the hotel, but the Santa Ana Cafe was great! The patio and view are gorgeous and the food is fabulous! Downgrading my review because for the second visit in a row the hostess at the cafe was rude, same person both times, thought it was a fluke the first time but it seems to be her MO. Won't be going back

We had our company Christmas party here. It's a beautiful adobe style resort, inside you'll find many native art pieces. I never stayed in any of the rooms, so I can't comment. My only gripe - it's very dark outside at night, the lights are way too dim. I had a hard time walking to my car at night, it was almost completely dark.

Gorgeous location on the mesa outside of Albuquerque. Beautiful adobe buildings and Native American art. Lovely rooms, friendly staff, a small running trail, horseback riding, multiple pools, you can't really go wrong here. Only issue is there's not a ton to do in the area, so come ready to relax and enjoy the resort.

Not particularly clean. My daughter got a bacterial infection on her skin after crawling around on the carpeted hotel room floor. Non responsive management - they messed up our room service order a couple times during our 5 day stay. I was told the charge would be removed from my bill but they never removed it. The restaurants on site are not good. They really are not! They overcharge and the cooks are not good! However, of course, the location is stunning. Not a lot do do, but the area is beautiful. The hotel is one of the better in the area too. But it still has a way to go to reach even 4 star quality.

Stayed here for a conference. Service and accommodations were excellent. I regret not renting a car because an Uber is $70-80 to Santa Fe one way. The hotel also burns incense in the main lobby area that might be too potent for some. My wife had a difficult time breathing the entire stay. I was fine.

The hotel was amazing, I loved it. The food was alright, pool was super fun, and the rooms comfortable. Near the end of my stay, I went to one of the restaurants at the resort and the view was spectacular!

Pretentious, tried to stay an additional night and instead of letting us stay in the room we had they wanted to move us to another room and then after waiting over 2 hours trying to get into the other room we had had enough paid our bill and left. The only thing that we did not have to pay for was bottled water in our room other than that you will be nickel and dimed to death, you will also have to walk a very long distance from where you park your car to the entrance unless you want to use the valet service. There are no other entrances available from the public parking lot.

Beautiful setting but some parts of the spa weren't working and they didn't tell me that at the time of making my appointment. The massage was mediocre at best, surprising given the outrageous price. Plus they automatically add an 18% tip on top of a very high price! I'm happy to pay plenty for a great massage, but this not worth even half the price. Will not return.

These guys have it down. Its an amazing place to relax for a weekend, they have 3 separate pools, one four every age group. The rooms are very well designed, and large. Most rooms if not all have a very nice balcony with a nice view. There are activities throughout the day including live music, horseback riding, trails to hike, and much more.
