Unbelievable. Mass Mutual recently became the 401k provider for my company (through Nextep which is part of this giant mess) and in the completely behind-the-scenes process forced the sale of my assets in a 2 day dip - which (of course) they delayed everything enough that they bought back at a high - pushing me into a product I would NEVER choose without any control on my part. GREAT. In one fell swoop, these jerks cost me over 10% of the value of my 401k.
