Great hotel in the heart of Anaheim. Rooms are well maintained and staff is friendly. Only gripe I have is that they are almost understaff every time I've stayed there. Waits for check in time spend on hold are longer than other hotels I've frequented.

Beautiful hotel, loved our room, pools were great. Restaurant was fantastic and the lobby was beautiful. Room service (change of bed sheets etc) was poor and had to ask for towels and sheets to be changed. We stayed for 7 nights.

Hotel was nice, room was basic, parking was atrocious-$28/day just because it was within a few miles of Disney, room card key kept failing along with parking card which trapped me for 15 min (made me late for my nephew's funeral), and even though it was great having a Starbucks in the lobby, the wait every morning was 30+ mins in a line with screaming kids wearing Disney attire ordering caramel macchiato with extra whipped cream. Never again!

Fair warning, this review is going to sound like an add (maybe it's because I was celebrating my 26th anniversary with my wife and spending alone time with her always puts me in a good mood). It is sometimes hard to create an elegant environment when a hotel is in the middle of suburban sprawl. The Hyatt Regency captures a moment worth visiting. The suite we stayed in was well appointed and spacious. The bed was fitted with crisp 1000+ t.c. white sheets that acted as a duvet (no tacky bedspread here) with the bedroom set apart from the sitting area behind frosted french doors. You look out of your floor to ceiling window into the 17 floors tall glass enclosed atrium. You can people watch during the day and enjoy the sunrise cresting the Santa Ana Mountains in the morning. A beautiful hotel is nice but the staff makes or breaks the stay. I was checked in by Mike who is the front desk manager. Though it seems that is not his normal activity, he opened up a terminal to speed my check-in. He was incredibly helpful and encouraged me to join Hyatts membership club to take advantage of the instant perks (upgraded wi-fi, etc). He talked about the family feel of Hyatt and the staff seems to take pride in their jobs based on the efficiency we experienced. This is my first stay at this hotel and won't be my last.

Very friendly staff and accommodating. My key kept breaking but they just kept replacing them. Straight forward rooms, beds super comfortable. TVs are very big. But you're really here for the tour. So the most important thing is rest.

Bad water pressure in the room. Staff unhelpful and don't relay charges upfront so pay attention. They will charge you for everything while not communicating about what they are doing. Dishonest! Will not stay here again!

Hotel is quite spread out and towers don't connect on the meeting floors. Bar and restaurant have decent food and good service. Parking is in an open lot behind hotel with closest entrance through the convention area. The rooms are starting to show age.

Customer service is lacking at this location. From the front desk all the way to the top management. The "management" would rather argue than correct the issue. 2 separate stays. 2 separate customer service issues. Won't be staying at this Hyatt again!

The Hyatt was located in a great area surrounded by restaurants and shops. Also it is less than 3 miles away from Disney. I really enjoyed the great service from the valet, bellhop, and front desk personnel. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonable price near Disneyland. Also they have free shuttle services that take you to and from the park.

We travel around the world and this is the worst managed hotel I have ever been too. It was DIRTY, with white stains all over the couches in the "kids suite". There were toys from other families under the couches, and black dirt in showers. The staff and management was rude, and they made many mistakes. The "room service" was just a ghetto delivery service from the snack store...

The front desk was super cordial and helpful. Their concierge was engaging and professional. They have two restaurants, a gift shop, snack shop and a Starbucks. They charge a ridiculous amount for parking which I'm not sure why - you are renting a room why should you pay for parking? Please don't say, "everyone else is doing it". That's not a good answer.
Their front desk (Steve) was amazing. They were very friendly every single time we spoke to them.

In some areas of the hotel you can tell they need some upgrading and remodeling. Some areas of the hotel need some work. They still feature alarm clocks that only fit iPhone 4.

Since they are a bit further from Disneyland their prices are more affordable for the family looking to save money. They do have a shuttle that'll take you to the parks. I'll keep this Hyatt bookmarked for another visit.

Expensive but on par with other hotels surrounding Disneyland. Rooms are clean and the staff is professional. Adequate parking but stiff pricing: $20 a day! This is more expensive than other hotels and is ridiculous! If our conference wasn't here, I would have chosen another hotel.

Great stay. Upgraded to a suite! So much fun staying here. We can see Disneyland in the distance and Knott's in the far distance! Very cool. Loved the table tennis by the rooftop pool. Thanks Hyatt!

Overall, this hotel is ok. The staff is courteous and professional. There appears to a split experience for visitors depending on which tower you get placed. Suites sit on one side (north end) of the hotel. Here is where the hotel feels warm, cozy, clean, modernized, and more recently renovated. On the other end (south end) it s older, dingy, rusting on all exposed metals, and the elevators have been under repair for months. These elevators are very slow, causing long lines to pile up in the downstairs lobby. Although, they opened the service elevator for guests, you can t reach it easily from the lobby.

Originally planned to stay for 10 nights, but decided to cut my stay short after 4 days and move to the Marriott Anaheim up the street. Found the price to be comparable with better amenities and cleaner.

Bedrooms were decent size. The bathrooms were small and I wish they outfitted a fan to help with the humidity buildup after showers. This little thing could also help with the slight mildew smell in the bedrooms. The toilets and bathtub were absolutely outdated, with rust and lime developing on every metal surface in the room. Even the emergency sprinklers were rusted through. The tub was also clogged be prepared to have a small bath develop while taking showers.

I took my two kids here for the first time. With my youngest one being 4 years old I was a little worried (of course) at how it would all play out, but she LOVED it. The instructor, Joe, was great with giving clear instructions during the class portion and I appreciate his professionalism and kindness with our kids throughout the whole process.

I usually just stay at inns and lodges and 3 stars and below hotels. This time I decided to stay at a 4 star and chose this one. The initial drove in was gorgeous. Beautiful court yard leading to the valet area. I almost felt bad driving my beat up Toyota Camry. The staff was very nice and helpful. The check in process was easy. (Except that they had one person working the desk at the time and the 'diamond/preferred members' took priority, which I'm fine with, but they kept showing up.) Once we got in, the room was nice, but it was missing something I was used to like a mini fridge. Parking is expensive ($27/night) which I also understand because Disneyland is a few blocks down and they host a lot of events. But other nearby hotels didn't have parking gates. The faucet was broken in the bathroom as you had hot water or cold water (balance valve must have been messed up because once you turned on the hot it seemed to shut the cold water off) I'm not saying it's a bad hotel, just overpriced by my point of view and usual experiences.

The Hyatt Regency is a very nice hotel. It has a lot of rooms and is definitely a good quality hotel. It's close to Disneyland but your not right at the gate either but their is a Target right across the street for getting groceries if needed.

I REALLY enjoyed staying at the Hyatt Regency in Orange County. The room was clean, nice, spacious. It had everything I needed. The lobby was big. It included a large dinning area an Ice cream shop, gift shoppe and a Starbucks!
So depending on your preference of ambience. One thing that might be a downside for some is that the hotel has large conference rooms and depending on the days you are there it could be very busy.
For example the weekend my family and I were there. There were 2 conferences going on. 1for school nurses and 1 for teens. So walking through the lobby and some hall ways was a bit crowded. Getting Starbucks in the morning was a mission and waiting for an elevator was a bit of a wait at times.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would definitely consider it for my next visit to Orange County.

Amazing facilities, staff, and location / transportation (extra fee) relative to Disneyland. My wife also loved the fact that there's a Starbucks on site. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because every morning our bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke due to the scent coming through a common vent. The staff was notified and immediately came up to deoderize but not much could be done. There was no vent fan blower in the bathroom and that might of helped. The scent did go away after a while and the room itself was mostly unaffected. The cigarette smoke certainly wasn't the hotel's fault, but the common vents with no blower hurt our experience there. All in all we'd easily stay there again... it's probably one of the nicest options in the area.
