If you are planning to repair or remodel something, this should be your first stop. They have a huge variety of building materials, fixtures, etc. I found a door just the right size for $10. Drop off what you don't need. Inventory changes constantly. Very helpful part volunteer staff.

They were kind of cleaned out today. I did get some really nice glazed terra cotta planters for $ .99. I usually find things when I am not looking for anything in particular. I couldn't find curtain rods but I found a nice table at a good price. For the most part it is a pretty clean store with helpful employees.

What a great public resource! You can get so many things at a really good price from the store and you can donate so many things so that other people have the opportunity to use something that would have otherwise been thrown out. You can even get a tax donation receipt LOL. The store has things like fabric, sinks and tubs and countertops and toilets, carpet remnants, gizmos and gadgets for your home furniture, stove tops, ceiling fans, paint that has never been used before, painting accessories and supplies you might need, a very helpful staff. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities at the store comma called in for more information and details and how to get signed up.

Have also purchased new light fixtures, window blinds, beautiful oak doors for our bedrooms, windows for the garage, shelving units for my craft room plus tile, sinks & counter tops for the bathroom. I'm always telling people to check out the Restore before they buy at retail stores.

Had a very bad experience. Cashier named Stephanie was very rude and talked to me and my family with such an ignorant tone. We asked for a price on a faucet and she said I can t do that right now with such anger then said she can t sell it to us anyways with such a nasty look on her face. I never had such a rude experience there. I will be calling corporate. Stop hiring people with such ugly customer service!!!!

Got a great deal on 2 large file cabinets, they would have been over a thousand dollars new. They had only minor cosmetic flaws and I purchased them both for under $70! Very helpful staff, inventory changes daily, always something new. Highly recommend!

About Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity

Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity: Building Homes, Communities, and Hope

Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that aims to provide affordable housing solutions to low-income families in the Maumee Valley area. The organization was founded in 1988 and has since then built over 200 homes, providing shelter to more than 800 people.

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. The organization believes that everyone deserves a decent place to live and works towards making this belief a reality. Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity is one of the many affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International, which operates in over 70 countries worldwide.

The mission of Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity is simple yet powerful - "to put God's love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope." The organization believes that safe and affordable housing is essential not only for individuals but also for building strong communities.

One of the unique aspects of Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity's approach is its focus on partnership with families who need housing solutions. Families who are interested in partnering with the organization must meet certain criteria such as having a steady income source but not being able to afford conventional housing options.

Once selected as partners, families work alongside volunteers from the community to build their own homes. This approach not only provides affordable housing solutions but also empowers families by giving them ownership over their living spaces.

Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity relies heavily on volunteers from the community who contribute their time and skills towards building homes. Volunteers can participate in various activities such as construction work or fundraising events organized by the organization.

Apart from building houses, Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity also runs several programs aimed at improving living conditions within communities. These programs include home repair services targeted at low-income homeowners who cannot afford repairs themselves.

The impact of Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity's work goes beyond just providing shelter; it helps create stronger communities where individuals can thrive. Studies have shown that stable housing has positive effects on health outcomes such as reducing stress levels and improving mental health.

In conclusion, Maumee Valley Habitat For humanity plays an important role in providing affordable housing solutions while empowering families through partnerships with volunteers from local communities. Its mission aligns with global efforts towards achieving sustainable development goals related to poverty reduction and creating inclusive societies where everyone has access to basic needs like shelter.
By supporting this non-profit organization through volunteering or donations you can help make a difference in someone's life today!
