Friendly staff, everything you need for a business trip
While the hotel was still mostly shut down from Covid, I would recruited recommend staying here in the future. It was extremely clean and well kept. The amenities and restaurants looked amazing and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a room on the top floor with a city view. The room was beautiful as was the view outside! Service was great, valet parking was very nice. Perfectly located in downtown Louisville with a lot of great bars and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again in the future.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Haven't had any problems. Room are clean. There a ton of restaurants close by. You can even us the Louie link to walk indoors through several blocks.
Great location. The front desk staff wasn't very friendly at checkout.
Rooms are nice & roomy. Staff are friendly & help every way possible.
Great location, great service, best place to stay in Louisville!
This is a solid 4-star hotel. The rooms were more clean than your average hotel, the location was excellent, and the staff was Disney World level friendly\helpful. Inspecting the room carefully, I noticed a small stain in the carpet and a little wear on the walls\furniture, but that was it. I enjoyed the convenience of the tap & enter room key, the pillows were more firm (yet plush) than most hotels, I had a great night sleep, and I still can't put my finger on why, but the shower was exceptional! I really liked a very small detail of my room: motion activated lighting under the bed, so if I wake up in the dark my path is slightly lit as soon as my feet touch the floor. This is not a 5-star hotel, but it's definitely worth 4 stars.
It was okay, I liked the Chipotle next to it because they were accepting of our first time orderer. They also made fun of her with the rest of our group so that was cool. It had some mildly fresh lettuce, so that was also pretty great. Overall I would say I enjoyed my time at the Hyatt, but mostly at the Chipotle next to it because I never actually went to the Hyatt.
Excellent service and accommodations for a great price.
Excellent service, staff, and food as well as menu selection.
Didn't stay in the rooms, but did visit the lobby and gift shop while doing a tour. Very nice and clean. The parking garage also allows for public parking, which is convenient for accessing 4th Street.
The Hyatt Regency is a very nice building with sound architecture. Very pleasing to look at, the staff is attentive and accommodating. The event was fun as well, and the room was well attended to through out.
One of the best I ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was absolutely amazing
First time staying, we booked a room and upon arrival we were told they gave our room away and had to downgrade rooms. Needless to say we weren't very happy about this. They did get us a room like the one we had originally booked and gave us breakfast during our stay.
Awesome room....Had breakfast in SWAY. Delicious food.
Great views if you ask for River view! Rooms were beautiful and location was in walking distance to many Loisville attractions!
Friendly, courteous staff. Helpful with local directions and dinner ideas. Parking was easily accessible.
Visited twice. Nice clean and modern rooms. Wonderful staff. Perfect location for access to the night life and restaurants of the city. Would recommend.
A nice hotel in a great location but a little pricey
Amazing hotel, great location, great staff. The only down things I have to say about the hotel was the elevators were hard to use when there were multiple people trying to use them and when entering a room the design was slightly annoying trying to get a baggage cart in with how the room is set up. But other than that amazing and great view of downtown that my room has.
Visited while on a work trip. Clean and easy to walk everywhere.
Staff was super helpful and nice & rooms were spacious
Most staff are very friendly and helpful. Elevators were nearly unusable due to large event. Rooms were modern and very clean
Nice hotel, excellent service. Love eating at Sway.
Great location in downtown Louisville. The rooms can get a little loud at night due to the fact that there are no hallways and all of the doors are facing the lobby. However, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean.
Excellent hotel, very comfortable, wonderful conference space
Outstanding place to stay. Rooms were modern, exceptionally clean, reasonably priced, and in close proximity to 4th Street Live. Staff was professional, courteous, and helpful.
Very nice. Close to everything. Parking can be found cheap at the public parking 1 block down next to the Hyatt.
They have really dirty carpet in there rooms probably not in all of them because guest do live in the Extended Stay room just wear your house shoes ... Upside great location slow to restaurants and tourist attractions
The room was beautiful, but beware even on the 18th floor you can hear the late night concerts from 4th Street live, so much so it will rattle the windows!! We were there for a marriage seminar, stayed 2 nights, great hotel
I was at this location for lunch at Sway. The waitress was very professional and helpful. I asked about the veggie burger made with a Beyond pattie. Her description sold it and it was an excellent substitute to s regular burger. I will definitely visit them again for this.
Hotel is nicely located near all the downtown action. Elevators are slow so find the steps. Staff is friendly and helpful, but most speak English as a second language.
The hotel is beautiful but end up paying almost double!! Almost a month later and still haven't got my money back!! Called numerous times to but still nothing!! Pool is cold and was way overcrowded!! Overcharged for drinks at the bar!! They ruined our night out over dealing with being overcharged!! Wouldn't recommend unless can afford paying double!
My room was part of a package conference expo week long event. The box below our TV fell off the wall, it's not held in by screws just kinda pressure fitted in. The room was fairly dusty as was the hotel. The lobby and walkways showed signs of wear and an outdated textured wall. Some button panels around the elevator weren't level. The pool was exceptionally small and the floor of it was squishy as if it was coming apart, but it is on the fourth floor. The fitness center was small and limiting in equipment. The business rooms printer was low on ink and printed fadedly. Otherwise it's as good as a regular hotel.
The service was great. We booked an accessible room online, but were given a normal room. When we went down to change it, the reception seemed confused as to why we wanted an accessible room with a tub; mentioned something about people who book online sometimes don't know they want handicap accessible room and so the reception will just give a normal room. This was our case as we are not noticeably disabled. They changed our room.
The only issues with the room were the broken door knob of the bathroom, random newspaper within the sheets of the bed, and some sort of brown substance dried on the side of the toilet paper roll.
We didn't find information about extra parking fees until we asked for a validation ticket to leave this morning. There was a $15 overnight fee for parking.
The staff at the Hyatt made our group's room transitions seamless. The desk staff was happy to assist me with a few things, even though I wasn't an over-night guest. In a time when customer service and general kindness is often forgotten, it was nice to feel welcomed.
Recent renovations are well done and provide an updated, modern ambiance for patrons.
The company has had our Christmas party here for the last couple of years. The staff is always friendly.
I feel the beds could be more comfortable, and it was difficult to understand the check in staff but overall it's a beautiful centrally located hotel.
My girlfriend and I have the Hyatt credit card, and we're also "World of Hyatt" members. We use these hotels constantly. We used our points on the credit card for a free night at the Louisville Hyatt Regency on 11-10-17. We checked in without a problem. They told us we had a late checkout at 2pm the next day. We said we'd take that late checkout. Well, at noon the next day, a member of housekeeping named Gilbert knocked once very quickly, then immediately tried to come in. Luckily, we had the security bar on the door. He didn't give me five seconds to answer the door, and he didn't announce that he was housekeeping. When I got to the door, he just said that I needed to be out. I told him I had two more hours, and shut the door on him. He didn't apologize for trying to walk in, he didn't check to make sure he had the wrong info. I was just treated like an over-stayed guest. We even had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. I called down to the front desk, and waited a long time to speak to the front desk manager. She apologized, offered to extended our stay until 4pm, and said she'd contact the housekeeping manager to make sure it wouldn't happen again. Well, an hour later at 1pm, another housekeeper named Nancy did the exact same thing! Again, no apology, and we were told to leave again. What is the point of the late check-out and the do not disturb sign if every member of housekeeping ignores them? I tried to call down again, and the front desk line rang for fives minutes with no answer. So, we just left at 2pm like we were supposed to. I then called the 800 number to complain since the hotel wouldn't take my complaint seriously, and the lady at the 800 number couldn't reach anyone at the hotel! Their own employees can't even get ahold of someone. This place looks nice, so it deserves the 4-star rating for that, but you get better staff at a 2-star motel. Seriously, I have stayed at the Budgetel Motel in Louisville, and for $50 a night, the room is pretty bad, but the staff are MUCH better.
The hotel was beautiful and quiet. Close to pretty much every place to eat.
Friendly staff, clean room, close to downtown attractions
Nice hotel. Modern minimalist decor, comfortable, clean, close to everything. Was just there for an overnight stay so can't comment too much on the staff. My brief interactions with them were pleasant. Minor superficial quibble is that the sheets were a little rough and could be better quality.
We didn't stay at the hotel, we are local. However, we frequently visit the restaurant in the hotel lobby (Sway). This is one of our favorite breakfast places as all ingredients are locally grown and the service is exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the hotel or that may live locally.
Enjoyed our stay very much. The clean rooms and work staff with food and beverage for conference was very welcoming and friendly.
Room was great and staff was friendly. Valet went out of his way to help us with our Uber. My only complaints would be, the trouble finding parking once we were already at the front, (one way streets to get back to parking-signs weren't highly visible-hard for out of towner) and lack of/being able to find a bellman or bell cart to move out many boxes.
Pros: Very convenient location. The hotel itself is very clean. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds.
Cons: 1) I was accosted numerous times by pan handlers, when stepping outside, in front of the hotel, and in the parking deck. I know that the hotel is not responsible for the homeless situation in Louisville, however when spending so much money on a hotel one should feel safe going out front for air or walking to their car. Maybe there needs to be security outside.
2) Housekeeping was an issue. By 2 o'clock the next day, housekeeping still did not show up to my room (and I was out for most of the day). Anyway I finally had to step outside my room and look for a housekeeping cart to get some clean towels. Around 3 o'clock I hear housekeeping opening up the door while I was walking around in my undies. (I cannot say for sure whether housekeeping knocked or not. Maybe I just didn't hear it). Suffice it to say, they should get to the rooms earlier, put their ear to the door to hear if someone is inside, knock louder and wait a few seconds before opening the door.
3) No complimentary anything .......Parking is not free to hotel guests. No coffee or Continental breakfast.
The Hyatt is beautiful and modern. It is well lit and staff is friendly.
Nice place in proximity to live on 4th. Fast elevators and decent priced parking.
Very nice place. Rooms were well furnished and clean. I only wish they had continental breakfast.
Everything was fine, except the people in rooms around me were up late and then up early, also the big atrium carries noise. Bed was very comfortable, room modern and clean, very quiet mini fridge, huge tv, nice indoor pool (4th floor), friendly professional staff.
Sunday dinner at Sway with friends. Food was delicious and prices are not bad at all. Place looks great. Small detail I know, but my chair was on the verge of falling apart. The leg was literally coming apart from the chair.Just seemed to cheapen the experience a bit. I must say, the butter and mini biscuits they serve were delightful and all foods were wonderful. I had the seafood bowl and tried the fried chicken that my friends ordered. Also very good. The side of greens were amazing.
I would give a big fat zero if I could. Booked a room on Oct 3 with Dana. For some reason she puts it in someone elses name. I found out Oct 15 that I don't have a room. I called because I hadn't received a conf# by email even though I have the conf#. she gave me. Gave her my credit card # and told me they were having a special and the room would cost me $75 for the night. Since she put the room in someone else's name I now don't have a room. Even though it's under my card #. BEWARE WHEN YOU BOOK A ROOM HERE!!!!!!!!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everyone was friendly and polite. I had 2 small issues and they were resolved asap and I was given free parking to compensate for the issue. Bed was cozy and room was clean. I will stay here again. I do wish the room had a refrigerator for extended stays. Other than that...loved it!! The pool was awesome my Grand Daughter loved it.
Very nice hotel and friendly staff. I love staying here,it is walking distance from restaurants and shops. The Ohio river and the Cardinals Stadium.
I had a great stay at the Hyatt. The rooms were clean, the lobby was also clean and my interaction with the staff although limited they were all very friendly.
It was alright. For $180 I expected a view but was looking at the convention center instead.
One of the ladies serving the hemophilia group was rude
Attended Code PaLOUsa technology event in the conference facilities. The lunch buffets were exceptional -- in quality, quantity, and service. Finished off the event with a happy hour at rooftop restaurant The Spire overlooking the city. Again, excellent service and food. Great location for events or just a night away.
Staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean.
Very clean, professional and in a very great location with lots of food options.
