Got exactly what we booked. Early check in was nice.

Very beautiful building in a great and fun area of town.

As a Vice President of a large convention that was held at the convention center here next to this Hyatt, I was unimpressed that it took 4-5 complaints before loud music that started at midnight in a nearby room was finally brought to a halt temporarily at around 6am, before resuming at 6:30am. One would expect that this type of thing could be handled quicker, as I would expect mine was not the only series of complaints. One of the vice presidents on another floor could even hear it.

I should also add that management did not call me as promised when I submitted the complaint to be escalated. I have subsequently passed this on to our housing coordinator for consideration in the future as well.

The staff was great but this is an old hotel. The bathrooms are tubs with fabric shower curtains. Because of Covid everything is shut down. Nice beds and good size TVs.

Great hotel, great room, great staff, the only bad part is the parking garage elevators were incredibly slow, and it took us 15 minutes to find the stairs so we could avoid the super crowded elevators in the lobby (which were MUCH faster than the ones in the parking garage). Other than that, it was wonderful.

Hotel is awesome. Staff are attentive, accomodations are excellent.

Great place for a conference. Didn't use the facilities all that much but a great place.

Clean, spacious rooms with amazing views of downtown. Very conveniently located to restaurants and convention center.

The staff is very polite and helpful. The facility is very well keep. I want to be clear that everyone here has been nothing but gracious and helpful. But the walls are paper thin. I can hear everthing. No one around me is being unreasonably loud. People moving around, doors opening and closing, casual conversations in the hallway, and showers running in all the rooms around me. You can hear it all.

Excellent Hotel, Fine Staff, Excellent Food & cocktails

Rooms are great, but the 24 Hour Crave menu doesnt really have a 24 hour availability.

Nice hotel. Nothing is open. No gym pool or restaurant. The fee is too high for just a bed.

I haven't been there don't get me confused with someone else

This place was awesome. Great services. Room was beautiful with comfortable furniture. Great view from my window of room. Staff were courteous. Great location.

Attended a conference at the Hyatt. The accommodations were great, food and beverages were wonderful, everything seemed to run smoothly.

Came in for an interview with someone from out of town who was staying at the Hyatt. The lobby and bar are very nice and the staff was quite friendly.

Great hotel in the heart of downtown Louisville. Always clean, great service, 65" tv, couch and desk with nice views! Repeat customer.

Stayed there on a Thursday and Friday night, don't think I would have paid full price but for my priceline rate of $90/day it worked out perfectly! Was easy to navigate, staff was friendly, bar was nice to grab a drink. It's location right next to 4th street live was awesome, and was a quick walk to the water. It didn't seem to have all the small details of a 4 star hotel but those types of things aren't really important to me. Would stay there again!

Rooms are nice staff is warm and welcoming. The only issue is the open environment allows sound to travel.

The Hotel is absolutely wonderful, and the room is very clean. Huge TV, decent view, the bathroom is a tad small, but VERY modern and clean. The only issue is that anything loud in the lobby will be heard in your room on almost any floor, as I heard lots of yelling from the 9th floor.

We went for a meeting. Meeting rooms were nice. Food was good. Hotel very clean

Had an amazing time out here so that's why I gave it five stars. Louisville's just awesome. And the regency was mad nice

Overall things were fine, but service this year was not quite as good as in previous years. Seems that changes in management may have interrupted what was working well before.

Do not book here. Had horrible experience and will never ever again stay at a Hyatt. I arrived exhausted from my flight into Louisville at this hotel and they said the hotel was over-booked and they tried to find a room elsewhere. Eventually after 2 hours they found another room 15 minutes away with a double bed versus the king that I reserved. Never, ever again.

They're all right but keep an eye on your bank account

Clean, and centralized so that everything can be found a moderate distance away.

Location is great! Room was very nice! Clean & spacious. Stayed 4 nights, housekeeping only makes beds & provides towels during multiple night stays. Would've been nice to have floor vacuumed & tables wiped clean. Parking garage is $10 each night or $13 daily if you need to go in & out. It's a public parking garage not just for guests. Parking discount for hotel guests would be nice. Overall great stay! Would recommend!

Beautiful place. And great location on 4th Street. Close to tons of restaurants. And in walking distance of a lot of things to do in downtown Louisville.

Our towels were dirty and some of them had boogers on them. Encrusted onto them. Makes you wonder what else isn't clean.

Hotel was beautiful and location was convenient! Rooms were updated and clean with very comfortable beds! Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and clean, an older hotel renovated to be quite nice.

Pretty sweet venue, usually used a conference, but really nice when it's quiet. Actually acTed as a nice chillout spot.

I was here for a wedding reception in the spire. Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view. Everyone was very helpful.

Construction debris in our first room. Overall nice enough, but feel like they nickel and dime for everything... Parking, water, television, breakfast, coffee. Will not plan on staying here again, particularly for the price.

Vip suite was very nice although the double beds are only full size

The Galt House is a great place to stay if you need to be Downtown Louisville. Great service and the hotel is always clean - other than some of the ongoing construction. Not a huge deal but it would be an added amenity if the rooms had a mini fridge.

Rooms were updated, done nicely, and the hotel atmosphere was good. Attended a conference held there so I stayed 2 nights, and everything was good. No complaints.

Hotel rooms are very clean. Hotel is in a prime location just off of Fourth Street with easy access to restaurants and local events.

I found the Spire to have an amazing view and the main dish was.. ok. The salad was seriously lacking.

It was a great experience from start to finish. Very professional staff and wonderful rooms. It was nice to spend the night on Fourth Street and walk next door to the hotel. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay downtown.

Breakfast was good but the service was on the struggle bus. Tons of tables and 2 staff.

We always stay at the doentown Hyatt. It's a great value and centrally located.

Amazing spot. Just expect to be charged for every little thing.

Rough start to visit. Called 2 days prior to arrival to check on early check in. Was assured that wasn't an issue. I arrive and am told room wasn't ready. Fast forward until 5:15, finally room is available. This is where it went great!!!!!!! Offered me $50 for room charges, which got us a great late night dinner in our room! We went up to the room, and they didn't disappoint. I made a very obscure request upon check in, and they came through with flying colors. My wife was beyond thrilled with the surprise, and couldn't believe they would come through. A small picture, and some flowers made her stay greater than imagined. Thanks for turning a rough start into a GREAT stay! We will be back!!
