Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa Review

Excellent location. Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Great service at this Hyatt and great dining options close by. Will definitely return to this Hyatt and recommend for anyone wanting to be by the beach or visiting southern California.

Top notch hospitality. Valet service that isn't free but is included in the resort fees. Resort fees seem to be 120 USD per night... But service and amenities are great. 4 hot tubs, several pools which are warmer than the cold ocean. Wonderful restaurants. Resort is quite large yet not too large. 17 minute walk to the Huntington Beach Pier. Can rent bicycles. There is a bridge over to Huntington Beach to cross over highway 1 which is very handy. Can rent beach chairs and umbrella and beach towels for free. We had a great time and many of the rooms have great view of the ocean and pools. A few water slides of varying height, for kids (4 feet and up I believe) and adults. You can buy cheap inner tubes at the pool itself for fun. Towel service included. Drinks and food served at both set of pools. I wish the hot tubs were hotter to say 102F, but they are more like 98. Still great and no complaints. Many basic amenities that other hotels get wrong or are sub par, this place does perfectly. We found it hard to find a reason to go to nearby places since the resort was so fun, relaxing, accommodating, good location, and had good eats.

What a joyous time! Met my best friend of 60 years with her 2 daughters, my daughters2 and her granddaughter Joey who just turned 6. We utilized the whole resort. Spa, swimming, exercising, and just pure beauty of the California surroundings. Such a blessing to have a beautiful resort so close to the beach with easy access. All restaurants were open and safe, as well as nearby shopping. Thank you Hyatt Regency HB for a momentous mini vacation.

This is a great hotel. From check in to check out. I received a call and email from the manager before check in. The service is top notch. The property is fantastic. The regency club is well worth it. We can't wait to come back.

What a beautiful hotel from the entrance to the room to the views it really is an amazing hotel. The beds are sooooo comfortable. The service is great and the staff really makes you feel like a celebrity. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to get away and relax!

First time at this location and we definitely enjoyed it. We will be returning, here is a break down:
Pros: polite employees, from the valet and bell hop to the pool attendants. Everyone is attentive and the waiters at the several restaurants were all fabulous. The room was clean and spacious for the two queens we ordered. Beds are perfect softness and the pillows are pure comfort. Walk over the bridge and they have chairs, towels and umbrellas for you to enjoy at the beach. They allowed us to have a late check out and held our belongings at the front while we enjoyed the beach until we were ready to leave. Food at the Water table restaurant, Pete's restaurant and even at the pool were all delicious!
Minor Cons: had requested a crib when I called to make reservations and at check in but wasnt in the room when we got there. Then had to call front desk twice to get it. Not a big deal, but after a long drive, the baby wanted a nap so we had to wait. They are not cleaning the room daily and a family of 4 collects a lot of trash after a few days. It got annoying to have to request towels and gather all the trash to find a trash can outside. Valet is $42 a night. Otherwise park outside on the street. At the pool, you must wear a blue wristband to get in the pool area and keep on while in there. Pool service, although nice, are lacking a rush. Prepare to wait 30+ minutes for your drink order. Since all the restaurants are only outdoors now due to covid, they are lacking seating so we were lucky to get a time in due to a cancellation at the Water table. So make sure to book ahead of time.

Had drinks and some food. The cheese plate was excellent, my old fashioned was good, and someone ordered these jars of beef jerky that were incredible. All in all, I'd go back. Little pricy though. $15 for an old fashioned with tax and a $1 tip. Ouch.

My husband works here of course is nice he keeps all room clean.

I've vacationed with family here four of the past five years; great room service, amazing balcony views of the ocean, super concierge, outstanding dining, LOVELY. Peaceful ambiance. Well maintained.
Business conference amenities are also excellent. HIGHLY recommended family or couple getaway, or business conference site.

I've been sitting here for lunch. Watch out the prices of Steel you're blind.

This review is for their ball room area. The staff, the valets, the management are all very professional and give amazing service. You can tell they run a tight ship. It's all about the small touches too.

Good clean beach get there early to get good parking good food great time

Luxiry, luxury, luxury. Our 4th floor room overlooking the ocean with club level access was amazing. The service was incredible. There are 3 main pool areas and a great fitness center. I wish I could live here.

Stayed for a business trip and it is massive walk to lobby with unintuitive halls. The views and amenities are great, but it is across the street from the beach.

It was a great experience being there. The ambience was at level that you can just relax. The hotel is really nice and the lobby is accessible. There are two sides to the hotel so you may want to check if you are on the right side

Room was nice. Could need a bit more work on the workers there.

The game room was available to us, even late. Had some drinks the bar then enjoyed some games. The room was also super spacious and clean. Overall great experience

They upgraded to the suite room. The room was quite big and has nice view.

I attended a wedding here and the location was quite beautiful for pictures. Before the wedding party started they offered appetizers such as spring rolls and burger sliders which were pretty tasty. As for the main food, which consisted of soup, salad, and filet mignon. The soup was completely fine but the salad had quite a strong dressing and did not taste so good. The filet mignon didn't meet expectations and it was quite dry.

We had so much fun! We went to the water slides! And so much more fun activity s :).

Beautiful hotel, but our room wasnt ready until 7pm, when they had guarenteed we would have the room by 4pm.

Unbelievably gorgeous, huge grounds. Maintained immaculately. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because of the mandatory valet parking. Otherwise very clean and beautiful. Three pools, multiple hot tubs. Restaurants on the ground very easy access to the beach.

Came here for a wedding and was impressed by the beautiful location. The sun set during the ceremony and made for an amazing view for everyone. Reception service was wonderful and food was fantastic. Would love to hold or attend another event here.

Great location. The beach is across the street (there is a bridge from the hotel that rakes you right to the beach). Clean, beautiful rooms. Huge tv (50 inches?l although I 'm not sure why you want to spend time inside watching tv. Several restaurants on property, more within walking distance. Huge fitness center and a couple of pools. Several firepits as well as an outdoor fireplace. Super friendly staff too. I can't wait to go back.

The gala turned out amazing. Staff there made it even better. They were very professional.

Location is great perfect views, the hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The pool is beautiful and outdoor seating is awesome with the fire pits.

Attended a wedding on 6/23/18 and stayed the night. The area for the wedding was gorgeous! Overlooking the beach and sectioned off just for the ceremony, it was idyllic. The room was excellent, comfortable King sized bed for my partner and I. Amenities were pristine.

An impressive resort right on Huntington Beach, the amenities and service is phenomenal. Welcoming and helpful staff always delivered. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pacific City out door shopping centre is nearby packed with highly rated restaurants, but the Watertable and Pete's in the resort were delicious. Do yourself a favor, rent a board and go surfing if you haven't tried it before.

The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach resort is located in a spectacular location. It is the only hotel with direct beach access (no street to cross or driving necessary) and offers complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas to the guests who choose to go to the beach. If sand and ocean waves is not your thing, stay on property with outdoor pools and plenty of kids' attractions and activities. The grounds are meticulously cared for and the hotel staff is friendly and courteous.
This hotel is one of our favorites to stay at. Now for our one dislike but others will find this as a plus. The hotel is not necessarily a place for a romantic getaway. That's why my wife and I go without our children, but the hotel has done such a good job of offering upscale accommodations with family friendly attractions there are little kids everywhere. (Not exactly what we want when we are on a weekend getaway from our own children.) So I can say, if you are a young family who appreciates quality, this is my #1 recommended place to stay in southern California.

The property is beautiful! There are multiple pools to spend time laying in the sun, enjoying the water, and food and drinks by the pool. The rooms are very nice, well appointed, and comfortable. There are multiple restaurants and shops at the resort, as well. Not only that, you can rent surf boards, bikes, and even get surfing lessons. Stay here and make sure you get a view of the ocean.

Great views of Huntington Beach. Easy access to main St for a night out by the Pier. Rooms are neat and clean.
