Ocean View King. Valet and hotel staff were very friendly and informative about check in time and parking options on the beach. Room was beautiful and spacious with a very comfortable bed, supplied with many clean towels. Balcony had a perfect view of the ocean. Tower 15 pizza was delicious and delivered to the room in a very timely manner. Come for the beach and stay for the many quality amenities including beach towels and umbrellas, a gorgeous pool and spa, and a courtyard of shops for every occasion. Will definitely come back again someday.

Kid friendly hotel. 5 star accommodations, every staff member is helpful. Military discount on the rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone ranging from a big family to a couple looking for a romantic getaway

Oh.... where do I begin.... let me start with the warm welcome email I received from the general manager, Mr. Peter Rice. I have been to many Hyatts... but never recall receiving a welcome from anywhere. It was a pleasant, personable surprise. When I replied back to his email for accommodations, he went above and beyond necessary to make our stay extra special. He even wrote a hand written card and left it at front desk already ready for when we checked in. I have never so well taken care of at such a high rated resort. No wonder Huntington Beach Hyatt has the outstanding reviews as it does! Thank you, Mr. Peter Rice! Huntington Beach Hyatt is you, and all you! Words can t express our gratitude!

Truly the nicest hotel I've ever been to. Often I've found that hotels are either great in a so so location or they are not great but all is forgiven since the location is so good.

The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort is both an exceptional hotel with the greatest location. The ability to run along the ocean is just breathtaking. It puts a smile on my face just thinking about it.

After nearly a year of working nonstop I decided to get far away from the Midwest. I had been to Huntington Beach a couple years ago so I decided to return. Now the Hyatt Regency is expensive but when you see the place you'll realize why that is. The resort is massive. My room was exceptionally clean. The staff is very friendly. Both restaurants served excellent food.

You can walk from the hotel across the road on their walkway to the beach. You get get any closer to the ocean.

The only drawback is if you're bringing a car valet parking is expensive.

If you can try to stay during the week. The beach is not crowed. When I went in July the beach was mostly deserted which allowed me to run in the CA sun in peace. The hotel will let you check out chairs and an umbrella for the day. During the week the only other people around were a couple surfers and some college beach volleyball players.

Go to Pete's Sunset Grill sit outside and forget about your job. It was worth every penny. The Hyatt allowed me to keep my sanity. 10/10.

Went for mother's day brunch. Had a reservation and seated in a reasonable amount of time considering the amount of people there. Large variety of food that was great. Chilled stone crab claws, shrimp and oysters were fresh. The breakfast selection featured bacon, two kinds of sausage, egg Benedict, pancakes and an omelette station. The only disappointment there was the scrambled eggs that tasted distinctly powdered or from a carton. The salad bar was vibrant and things were well dressed. They had a couple of Chinese-American dishes that were okay. There was a small table for children that featured Mac and cheese, fruit, chicken tenders, and potato wedges. Dessert section was enormous, and had a gelato bar, several kinds of cupcakes, pies, cakes, and other miscellaneous items. Would come back again.

Quite the facility. The cost of parking, however was way past absurd. $39 PER DAY? SERIOUSLY? My legs were shot from an injury the day before arrival, so naturally, we were in a room as far away from the elevators as possible.

Most lower end hotels (Holiday Inn Express) provide coffee at the desk and a breakfast of some sort, but even @$300 per day that was too much to ask.

It seems like the more you pay, the less you get.

Won't be coming back.

We had a great time at the Hyatt. After looking at a few hotels on line we decided on this one and we are glad we did. The place is beautiful, love the access to the beach. The room was great, my wife loved the spa and our kids couldn't get enough of the pools, they actually liked them more than the beach. We can't wait to go back!

Honestly one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever attended. I was there for a work conference and had a fantastic time. Huge pool and spa grotto area next to a koi pond. Huge TV in the room with a really comfortable bed. The list goes on. Great stay.

I personally didn't stay here but when I went there to help out with family. Its got tons of stores pools and other things. It has nice rooms, and is kind of easy to navigate around. It also has easy access to the beach which is right across the street. Such a nice place too.

Everything you would expect from a luxury hotel on the beachfront. A gorgeous property through and through! My only complaint is how seemingly thin the walls are.. I constantly was able to hear the family in the room next to me, screaming kids and all, as if they WERE in the same room as me. Would expect a little more privacy and seclusion for such a lavishly priced hotel. Other than the paper walls, great!

Very large property! Beautiful pools and pool side areas. Front desk check in experience was very fast and effecient. Getting up to the valet area was a bit of a cluster. Had to wait down on the street for them to clear up the cars in front so we could pull up to the front. Awesome experience with the valet though. Let me schedule my car ready time and they were right on schedule. Rooms were very large and updated. Great amenities overall!

Great resort hotel. Super pool facilities. Also especially for children with two slides.
At all pools are pool bars with very attentive staff. Bath towels available everywhere. Great cozy grottos with hot whirlpools. Can be used until 11 p.m. Hotel is on the beach. However, separated by the Pacific Coast Highway. Access to the beach via our own bridge over the highway. Parasol, beach towels and deck chairs are provided free of charge. Parking either through the hotel's valet for $ 35 per day or self-parking at the beachfront parking lot for $ 15 per day. Attention, please inquire in the hotel. You get a tag that you are a hotel guest and you can park there overnight. Everything is totally easy and unproblematic. Parking directly at the bridge and you are in the hotel in a minute. Disadvantage you have to be in by 9 o'clock in the evening. After that the parking lot is closed. Rooms are good. Will be completely renovated from autumn 2017 to spring 2018. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Staff super friendly. Watertable restaurant expensive but very good quality. Great desserts. Waiters are great. Pete's Sunset Grill Restaurant is a bit more casual and cheaper. But also great quality. For the quick hunger pizzeria Tower 13. Delivery service possible in the hotel complex. Caffe / shop with Sturbucks coffee and goodies also available.
I can only recommend this resort. Slightly more expensive but worth every dollar.

My family and I are staying at the Hyatt in the Governors Suite right now and as of about an hour ago (8:30) our room has been inundated with VERY loud bass and periodic Emcee screaming as though they were in the other room. Hyatt was on-top of it enough to comp the room but the thought that they would book an event with a DJ directly below guest rooms in what I can only imagine is a known area where sound travels well is totally unacceptable.

Hyatt should book events like this in their cavernous event space that is well away from the guest rooms! The grandpa convention should be downstairs right now, not a DJ extolling the pricing of what I can only imagine is an auction for subwoofers.

I hope that the experience turns out better in the end, but it's incredible how a single night of sleepless toddlers due to management blunder can ruin an otherwise perfect getaway. 2 stars because of the comp, but money does not buy happiness.

Just spent a week here with the family. What a great resort and property. Two great restaurants and your own little city you really don't even need to leave. I will say that we were impressed with food and beverages at the pool's prices. Everything is really affordable and we'll be going back next year.

Reserved the room with a partial view of the ocean. Heavy emphasis on the partial. I can only see the view when I'm standing and through the palm trees. While sitting in the balcony, there's no view at all.
The room did not have a keurig when we checked in. We called down to the front desk The staff promptly brought us one.
All of the staff we had interactions with were very pleasant.

Usually my family and I go to this resort 2 or 3 times a year , beautiful settings and installations ,but this time customer service went down quite a bit , from Christine hanging the phone on us when asking for in hotel reservations to having a ocean front room secure reservation then been told no or that was given away, given at the end a room next to elevator ...well three nights without sleep , at the end just a sorry with soft smile ( we been to busy ,i was told ) and of course no complaints about paying $2300

Love this hotel and the amenities. The rooms are beautiful and bathrooms are nice with large tubs. They have sandcastle building classes and even give you nice chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The only reason not 5 star is that the lobby (at least in summer) is always packed and takes awhile to be helped.

Favorite hotel in Huntington Beach. Great location, great amenities (good pools - though crowded - and loved the above-street walkway to get to the beach). Best of all was the hotel's spa - best massages we'd ever had, and had everything you'd expect... just note that there's only a small coed area outdoors.
