Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa Review

Didn't stay the night here but had some friends that did and I visited them. Clean building and friendly staff.

Love this hotel especially since they spruced it up this year. Clean spacious rooms with kitchen, balcony. Friendly staff. One of the things they could improve on is the pool staff. We are returning guests since the 1990s and noticed the pool staff is lacking this time. I was at the pool 6 hrs and they came around once. I asked for ice water and it never came. Please improve on this service..

Expensive and nice but not too nice due to few features that is missing or not well done. But they do have a nice location near the beach having a beautiful view of the beach plus they do have buffet.

The location is beautiful. The room was very nice but the hotel lost our reservation to be on the same floor as the rest of our party. There was a wedding while we stayed which resulted in some areas being unavailable to us. Some of the staff were genuinely friendly while others were not. The hotel does not have private beach access which means it was very busy. Our other party had multiple problems with their room keys and lock. Security couldn't even get into the room and had to break in.

It was a fun time but the room was too expensive.

Paid for a suite and was extremely underwhelmed. The balcony was so dirty and the furniture was old. The only nice areas were the kitchen and bathroom. Expected so much more for a Hyatt hotel. Will not be back.

it wasnt as clean as the Hyatt should be and the breakfast staff was cold when speaking to quest. no smiles at all.

The room looked comfortable and the hot tub is nice and large.

Stayed in a cabana for the day. Used the pool and visited the beach. Lovely day!

Was going to a wedding but didn't end up staying. We canceled our room within the time frame specified and they stilled billed us $400. Had to make several calls to get it corrected. As we left we asked an employee for help with the parking rate connected to the wedding and he not only didn't try to help us but he was very rude to my wife, myself and my two children. There are lots of places to stay on the beach I give them a try before i book another room here. Customer service was terrible and just about every turn.

Got some awesome ahi tuna here and my wife loved her drinks!

Excellent hotel with nice views of bay and sea. Very clean, spacious and tidy rooms. Beach is connected to the hotel and they offer goodies as part of their resort daily fee. The person at the front desk was exceptional and made sure the check-in was smooth and pleasant. Although on the expensive side during holidays, it is a hotel I would recommend to others.

Great hotel right on the beach! Prepare for high prices, especially if you want your room to face the beach!

Used it for beach parking. Cost me $15 dollars for a couple hours but it was the only garage I could find that had space. Great location, right on the beach. I would definitely stay here for a beach get away but I'm willing to bet it's pricey.

Such a great location! This place didn't even exist when I lived out here as a kid, and as much as I would love for everything to have stayed the same, I am very happy to have enjoyed such a wonderful place to stay when I brought my family back here this year!

Honestly, I just used the Hyatt for the parking garage. This was a very tight fitting garage. Would probably rate this garage a 2/10. I have no real info about the actual hotel, but the area as a whole did not seem welcoming or a hotel I would stay at, and I LOVE Hyatt. The parking came to about $35 for 6 hours, which is fair.

Great breakfast buffet, beach access, concierge, location, right next to surf style and convenience store

Staff is very friendly and inviting. Room was clean and spacious. The pool is perfect for sunsets. Can t ask for a better location in Clearwater. Right in the middle of all the bars and restaurants.

This place is more than just a Great place to bring your family. Need I say more? (Pro tip - dont feel the pigeons or the sea gulls)

Parking is a rip off, they have 3h minimum that is hard to spot.

Great rooms TVs You can watch outside on your balcony, professional staff highly recommended.

Beautiful Hotel on the beach everything in here is brand new Keurig coffee machine in your room nice big shower nice outdoor pool overlooking Ocean on the 8th floor

When I made the reservation I asked for a room with an ocean view and upon arrival they gave me one with a view of the parking lot. Ask if they had precautions for the Covid-19 and they assure me that yes, when we arrived at the place we found the pool with many people and no one supervised the distancing. The cleanliness of the hotel is so horrible that there were cockroaches even in the pool and nobody cleaned them for more than I asked. I could not cancel the reservation because we traveled with the children from Orlando to celebrate my birthday and if I canceled it, my money would not be returned. I called to complain to customer service because I paid over $ 300 for one night and they put me on hold until the call was hung up. It is very sad that such a well-known hotel chain treats its customers this way.

Way too expensive, crappy housekeeping, ants in my room, slippery by pool, only plus is that it's by the beach

We had dinner at the hotel, expecting it to be great based on the reviews, the food was not good. We had ordered fish and both meals were over cooked and dry.
