My staycation destination. Last time there, the lady friend enjoyed a spa package and it did not disappoint. Love the restaurants, staff and amenities. Hyatt has a special place in my heart...they do things right and recruited me out of hospitality school. Another reason I love Royal Caribbean.

Place is great location, near everything, across from the beach, nice pool area, great Hotel...but the parking fees, I think is a bit over the top..I mean you paying over 1K plus for 3 nights to stay and then resorts fees n then 25 a night for valet..when there's a parking garage that charge 12 a day...Other then that enjoyed our stay, will come back again and will park in that garage again, I mean really don't need your car unless you going 5 plus Miles to grab a bite to eat, but as I said, lots of places to eat n nice restaurants..

Beautiful hotel with great decor and responsive staff. Great views of the Gulf. Pool area is small for size of hotel and garage is shared with beach goers. Hotel had problems with air so that was a bit uncomfortable but was on the beach most of the time

Amazing resort. Great hospitality, beautiful views. Walking distance to everything. Try the indoor surfing next door. My only complaint is that the hot tub is on a different floor than the pool. On the plus side, our room was on the hot tub floor which was pretty nice.

Stayed for 3 nights on my birthday weekend in early June and had an amazing time. We booked the King Deluxe room w ocean view and it was superb. Room was very spacious and had a full kitchen. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Everyone from the valet attendant, front desk, housekeeping, pool and restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. Hotel feels brand new and super clean. Will definitely be rebooking at the Hyatt Regency next time were in town.

The best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The rooms are amazing equipped with kitchens and all the essentials. The spa like bathrooms were to live for. And the views were absolutely stunning whether it was of the marina or the Gulf. This hotel has it all! We will be returning next year.

I really liked the hotel, and it was beautiful! We were greeted with champagne and a helpful bellman! The resort is within great proximity to many restaurants. The only thing I wish was different was that they had a private beach because it tends to get overly crowded.

The hotel is nice, mostly clean and the staff is nice enough but Clearwater is just really touristy which is not our vibe. The beach is packed and the hotel shares a public access parking lot which gets packed on the weekend bringing with it a large crowd of undesirables. The police presence was strong and kept the rowdy crowd under control.

The pool is nice, but on the 8th floor so you're kind of disconnected. The hot tub isn't near the pool, but on the roof??

Everything you need is found at the beach store just next store: beer, wine, food and beach gear. Proper liquor store just across the street.

Lots of dining and water activities in walking distance.

The rooms are large but not very efficient. We were able to cook a full meal in the kitchenette for 17 people. That same space had only couch seating for five people, the rest was a vast empty cavern.

The decor is modern but the light fixtures use cold led/florescent lighting and the fixtures themselves are very cold in projecting light. The room felt dark and cold and very uninviting. Side table light reflected so bad into the TV glaring making it unusable. I placed towels over that light and the dining table light to soften the lighting.

My biggest gripe is that the stairwell doors are all locked one way so can only exit your floor down to street level which really made navigating the hotel difficult to impossible with distancing rules and sharing the ride trying to get everyone to the pool on the 8th floor or down to the beach access on floor 2. I agree the street level doors need to be locked but floor to floor is dumb given the layout of this hotel made worse by limits during these times.

There's also non stop traffic between you and the beach all day and night as this route is used for beach cruising.

I don't know where to begin. The hotel itself is beautiful. I don't think guest should be walking around in there swim suit without a cover up. But, I found out later that a cook named Paul did not wash his hands before preparing our meal. I also noticed this cook texting on his phone and apparently watching something on his cell phone for a long time and going back and forth touching his phone and touching the food. I didn't believe what I was seeing.

Lots of parking available for the beach, Max charge for the day is $15.00 , the hotel is beautiful keep in mind it's the beach and the whole idea is to separate you from your money, lots of beach things to do nothing is free

Very nice rooms and very attentive service. The pool is like a fairground, it is very loud and very, very crowded. In general, Clearwater seems to be Florida's ballerina. Unfortunately this is also reflected in the hotel.

The wife and I stayed here during the County lockdown of the beaches, so we were able to enjoy a fairly quiet hotel and pool, very nice property. However considering the hotel was only 15% occupied I would have liked the option to rent a room with a direct Gulf view.

One word summary = Annoying

One word summary = Annoying
The only good thing I can say is that the 900sq foot room was very nice overall, but TV's are out of date. Internet speed was decent 3-5mbit
Now for the not so good.
- The hotel has a weird floor plan/design. There are so many elevators, but they all go to different floors. Confusing. Bathrooms are far away from entrances.
- The pool is located on the 8th floor, and the hot tub is on some other floor (we tried looking for it, didn't find it, because the elevator took us to the wrong spot in the hotel).
- There is an elevator on the first floor by the parking garage. It seemed convenient when we wanted to go to the pool after being on the beach, but the elevator goes only to the 7th floor. So, we had to walk all sandy through this giant hallway, and then another, to get to the regular elevator that could get us to the 8th floor to the pool (where nothing worked, the water was cold, the bar was closed, etc.) No wonder there was not one person by the pool. And we were told the hotel was sold out that day. So they wouldn't extend the stay.
- Restaurant charges tip automatically. Therefore waiters don't feel the need to work. The service is worse than in some cheaper restaurants. Didn't bring coffee in time. Had no sugar on the table. Forgot to deliver food. So by the time, the food got to the table, it was freezing cold. Could go on...
- We were told we were getting free breakfast, and that all we had to do is let them know at checkout to take it off the bill. But at checkout, they acted like no one has ever heard of such a thing, and that they couldn t honor it. My husband had to insist that they had to honor what was promised. There were 4 of us in the party, and we all heard that we were getting free breakfast.
- Front desk advertised all these things hotel offers, and half of them were either out of service or closed: Starbucks (out of service), Outside bar (closed at 5 pm on Friday Night).
- There were no lights out by the pool deck at 6 pm.
- The concierge couldn't answer any questions. and right in the middle of us asking him something, he answered the phone. I guess whoever was on the other line was more important.

17 years as a resident in Florida and it never happened to me before. After spending money at the bar I was asked to leave the pool area. 4 adults and 4 kids and couple friends on the way. Our tab got close to a $100 and we were ready to order food when the management brings security guys and makes a scene like we did something wrong. The way it was handled was more than poor. An hour spend in traffic and half of our Sunday got destroyed because I didn t tip a pool lady for a towel - yes she asked for money for a free towel. Whats interesting she was one of the "security escorting our group out.

Thats why you want to avoid Clearwater beach and definitely this hotel. Hours in traffic, too much crowd, too high prices and at the end you get treated like a criminal?

Maybe if the staff at the bar would inform us that we can t be there non of this would happen?

At the end I know there is better beaches than Clearwater. If this area doesn t know how to take care of a resident how they can take care of any other guest. Now we know we should stay in St Pete or Treasure Island..
