I only visited the Starbucks inside the Hyatt, not the actual hotel. The Starbucks itself was very clean and polished and the staff were incredible. The barista who served me was incredibly kind and made recommendations for drinks based on what I usually order. I went in expecting to get coffee and leave but ended up having a great conversation with the barista, who actually brought the drink out to me instead of at the counter. I was very happy with my experience, especially since I was having a rough day. Thank you Hyatt Regency Starbucks baristas!

Nice guest rooms. So so service and amenities. Was a guest here for two nights. Pros: Comfy bed Spacious bathroom The gentleman working the shoe shine stand was the best hotel employee I interacted with during my stay Cons: Parking garage elevators leave you outside, not in the hotel Really poor service at the connected restaurant for breakfast No room service after hours. You're left with limited options from a refrigerator in the lobby (they don't bring food up to you) Staff is not helpful in recommending local places to eat I would likely stay elsewhere if visiting Bethesda again.

Oof. They're doing renovations right now, which I can excuse. However, the hotel is dark and smells...old. Not the best. Rooms were clean, service was fine, but the hotel itself just needs some work. Might want to wait until those renovations are finished.

The indoor pool does not exist as it is under renovation for approx one year. The hotel site should clearly note this change. I imagine families with kids would be extremely disappointed on arrival. They should make an arrangement with neighboring property to share pool.

Stayed for a conference and extremely unimpressed. The hotel is basic at best although they try to act as though they are a 5 star hotel. The food leaves something to be desired and will inspire the weary to walk a few blocks to have great food at one of the neighboring restaurants.
Upon my first night there was blood found near my bed. They claimed they had no other rooms available and moved me to a room outside of a breakfast hall and I was awakened by staff around 4:30 am for breakfast setup. Later that day they moved me to another room on a high floor and tried to act as though it was a room at the St. Regis. They tried to pacify me with a $10 gift card to Starbucks although I was attending a conference that provided meals and snacks.
When I was checking out they told me there would be no charge for the room however 2 days later a charge shows up on my account. When I called to speak with a manager he was extremely proud and told me "the buck stops with him". I called corporate who said they would have someone call back before weeks end. Later in the week I was called by another manager who read my internal survey of the hotel and told me I would at least receive one nights stay as a refund; but they would call back for the full charge. Of course no one called back and here we are today.
I have called corporate again and it seems as though on all ends you get the run around. I am sure there are better hotels that reach the full requirements of their star ratings. I am beyond disappointed with this Hyatt property and Hyatt World overall. I fully intend to send a letter to an executive since the rest of the staff tries to put you in a bubble and not resolve the issues. This experience alone speaks volumes as to why Hyatt is not on my list for travel whether it be for business or pleasure.

The hotel stay and the room was pleasant, but when I received my final invoice it was $130 more than what I initially paid when I booked the room online. I called to ask why and they said I booked the stay twice. I checked my email afterwards thinking that I made some bonehead mistake and booked the room twice, but I only had one email confirmation. After being put on hold three times and arguing for 15 minutes, I gave up and lived with the $130 extra charge.

The hotel customer service does indeed deserve a 1 star however!

We use this place all the time for hosting group events and really like the place. They have recently undergone upgrades and the place looks much much nicer than the first time I stepped foot in it 10 years ago.

It is a good hotel. Good but not impresive. Holiday Inn or similar would be the same quality. It is renovated but not renewed. Old vents, holders, small derails many just painted over. I do not call it renovation but update. They put light mirror in the bathroom it is so bright at night I had to close door. See pics.

Room was pristine and service was great. Great service at the bar and the gym was clean and sufficient. Lots of complimentary items if needed (toothbrush, laundry, etc). Very pretty, clean, and convenient.

Hotel is in great spot right above a metro stop, allowing super easy access to the fun spots. Room was clean with a large tv and ample power outlets on the nightstand or headboard. The bathroom was fairly small in my single King room, obviously meant for 1-2 people, but it was clean and had a great standing shower. Plenty of closet space, plus the room comes with a fridge and coffeemaker. There is a Morton's steakhouse on the first floor which is great but pretty expensive for me. The Daily Grill is another restaurant on the first floor with a wider variety of food and lower prices. There is also a Starbucks on the first floor, which wasn't here during my stay last year.

The Location is one of the best in the DMV! You have several choices of places to eat in Bethesda. I attended a conference and the staff was amazing with all the attention to detail. Did i say the location was the best? There's Metro close by and something for everyone when it comes to eating out. Traffic can be crazy between construction and regular traffic. Outside of that, it's a good visit!.

Beautiful design. The service was great. My room was not ready when I got there but had to be to a wedding rehearsal. When i expressed this I was met with an offer to hold my luggage so I would not be late.

2 minutes later I was greeted and told instead my room was upgraded and I could check in immediately.

Every time after when I saw the staff that dealt with me at the desk or throughout the facility asked me how things were.

The late night desk was helpful for finding a little night life as well. They were honest about theatmospheres of the local bars and restaurants.

If you're in Bethesda I suggest the Hyatt. Great service in the restaurant underneath as well. Gentleman made a perfect bloody Mary to order rather than bad pre-mixed juice.

Not worth your money here at all. The Daily Grill staff was rude and slow
The room service menu says 11pm but when we called at 10pm they said they were closed. The front desk staff said they didnt know what time it was supposed to close. They DONT have a continental breakfast. Like advertised, what we paid for. No, they give you 4 options to chose from on a menu, where they dont let you change anything on it. Worse experience at a Hyatt ever. You couldnt pay us to come back here.
UPDATE: The front desk day shift manager, Xavier, helped us out a TON. He was kind, understanding and patient when we brought to him our concerns. He made up for a lot of the negatives we dealt with at the hotel.

The hotel was fine. The room was clean and the staff was nice. The issue was the parking garage. The computers were having issues and not printing tickets. Major hassle that the front desk was not helpful in resolving.

What you wouldn't expect:

What you wouldn't expect:

$22.00 a Day for parking.

If you forgot a fork they can't help you.

The Terrace has a bunch if weeds growing through the flooring.

The King Terrace comes in really small and larger than really small (luck of the draw) (trust the actual pics not the CG renders)

Heating in the hotel was not working. Had to sleep in a freezing room, staff didn't bother to bring extra blankets even after multiple times asking. Caught a cold because of that. Rebooked to another hotel after one night.

Terrific hotel at a terrific price. Stayed 2 nights. We usually prefer Airbnb, but this was just so easy, pleasant, and affordable. Spacious room with 2 comfy queen beds and lots of comforts like a couch and bluetooth speaker. Location is near nice shops. Self parking is easy and a very reasonable rate, at $8 if you arrive after 4p. We esp appreciated the late check out and gracious staff. We will def be back when passing through town. Thank you!

An excellent Hotel to stay at in the heart of Bethesda!
I was here for the ASHP legislative conference
The rooms were very nice and quite high class
The price was pretty high, however, as were the upcharges,

The cocktail reception food was excellent, but the lunches left much to be desired...

Loved our stay! The proximity to the Metro station was so convenient. We loved the location - a short 10 minute walk to the Bethesda Row shops and restaurants and a 3 minute walk to La Madeline and Chipotle. It was easy to grab morning coffee at both Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Never had to wait long for the elevators and the renovated room was lovely!

I was allotted a room which was a previous storage or balcony , the room size and shape were different and bringing lot of noise and light during night time as I can not close the windows due to the structural issues. The roof is covered by screens and couldn t sleep during my two days of stay. Please ensure your room is not a corner room and ensure the windows are properly done. I paid full price but I got discount later but I was not happy about my stay.

My family and I enjoyed the Hyatt! We went to change our minds a little bit, we got a 2 queen bed room. It was impeccable. I personally loved the elevator it gave me skydiving vibes. The location is very convenient since there is the metro station right down the street also great restaurants in the vicinity.

this is the second time i've stayed here (but last time, work paid). room smells like bleach. internet is unusable because they have far too many people attending some kind of event downstairs. there's no coffee machine in this room. i requested, and was told i'd get, a 'quiet room'--i can hear the roar of the epic cocktail party going on downstairs in the bar. failboat, i'm never staying here again given the >$200/night price.

how does this place have 4 stars? ugh, i'd rather stay in a new Super 8.

This is a little too High end hotel feel that isn't quite there with ammenities. Comfy, but noisy. I fear their remodel will make their price tag beyond what this location can truly offer in value. Tip, park in the public garage across the street for 1/2 the price of the Hyatt garage.

For $114 with a package that includes free parking and free breakfast for two you can't beat this deal. Nice facilities. Great location right above the metro. $7.50 round trip fare into d.c in 20 mins. Would stay here again.

After an unpleasant experience with the American Inn a block away, my bf's family and I decided to stay at the Hyatt. The staff here was wonderful in communicating with us and helpful! The hotel was beautiful and reminded us of a Disney Springs Hotel! Parking at the garage was $12 overnight, which wasn't a bad deal. Also, there is a Starbucks in the main lobby which was awesome and the Bethesda metro is right next door! 5/5 stars would definitely recommend if you are traveling in the DC area!

Last year I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt in Bethesda. But I find it incredibly odd how none of the clients staying at the hotel noticed the vast spiral of conspiracies going on under the hood. First of all, the hotel is about 11 stories high, and the rooms are 9 windows across. 9-11... Coincidence? I think not. Most notable was the fact that they had hidden several airplanes in their parking garage, airplanes which would've been used to spread chem-trails all over Washington DC. These chemicals, when mixed with the air cause a highly corrosive chemical that causes forced precipitation and mixes with the water- the same water used by the Mountain Dew Factory next door. The Mountain Dew Factory then makes it shipment to the Hyat hotel, where hundreds of people drink it daily. I don't like a world where mutant overlords force feed us lies through subliminal propaganda in today's media. I also don't like it when monkeys steal the banana I've been saving since riding my house from Idaho, Montana. The fact that we have hotels that force feed monkeys into America's Bananas is just sick and wrong.
Fight the good fight people.

Staff is very polite and helpful here! The room was nice and clean and came with a refrigerator which was nice. The bed was more firm than I like so I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked which is why I have it 4/5. The location is great, right above a metro station and near several shops. Other than the firm bed, everything else has been great!

It was great. They thought I bought lunch when I didn't and tried charging it to the room. That's the only flaw. I really liked the room and the bathroom was great as well. They also bring stuff to your room like slippers free.
