Hyatt Regency Bethesda near Washington, DC Review

The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. The rooms are a bit dated, if they upgrade the rooms I could see it being one of the best hotels in the area

Great location right by metro station and one train stop from NIH. Beds could be more comfortable, but overall nice venue for professional event.

The rooms were really clean and comfortable, I would stay here for another meeting.

Had dinner at Morton's Steakhouse in the Hyatt. The food is excellent as would be expected. Be prepared to pay $$$.

Great rooms, great service. It has recently gone through a refurbishment and it looks awesome. Soon to be a starbucks right on the ground level.

This was my 1st time in Bethesda MD & staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel was truly FANTASTIC

Everything was working tv was a tad expensive. But the rooms and service was great. Loved that you could look over the edge. Wifi wouldnt work for roblox but everything else works. Besides the tv prices everything was perfect 9 out of 10

Nice hotel but parking can be difficult to find due to the construction.

Conveniently located in Bethesda center. Parking available and affordable. Literally sitting on top of the Metro station.

Currently under redevelopment. If arriving by car it can be confusing to find the entrance. Even though there are improvement works happening the hotel is running well and the standards are good. Rooms are spacious and to a high standard. Great location, it's a very good choice.

This hotel shouldn't even be a Hyatt. The most dated Hyatt i have ever stayed at. I thought i was in a dated 90's Atlantic city casino. Beds are ok, it's kinda clean but carpet is so old you clearly know they are dirty from age. Rooms have a funky smell of mold crossed with old cigarette smoke ( i smoke and i was grossed out). I got a whiff of of horrid smell of stagnant trash from a service hallway in which they were serving food out of that nearly made me throw up. This hotel needs to be gutted and overhauled. Staff was fine but facilities were way sub par for a Hyatt. More like a Days Inn on the side of a highway. I stay in nicer rooms for $89.

I booked a reservation there for my parents for my sisters funeral a few weeks ago and they mentioned that they loved the layout of the room and lobby. The Valet staff was on it and so friendly. They also had such a positive experience with a hawaiian supervisor at the front desk name Senga? Sena? (Hope I m not saying it wrong). My mom was having a bad night sleeping and was sitting at the lobby crying in the middle of the night and she said that this staff came up and checked up on her, grabbed a bottle of water and comforted my mother and said, Today might be a bad day, but not tomorrow. The Sun will always shine above the clouds no matter what the forecast is here on earth. my mother now has those words that she shared on a index card, taped to her steering wheel & reads it everyday to herself after my sisters passing. This is what customer service is about, the love was real. Thank you to the beautiful Hawaiian angel for comforting my parents when I couldn t at that moment. Love Hyatt and just the customer service that this hotel brand offer. I look forward on staying there with my parents this April for a reunion.

Horrible ! The hotel is nice ... But service is Horrible... Not nice lady at front desk called "Amena" had a bad attitude towards us. They didnt have our rooms . We had called earlier in the weak to make sure we would hace no problems checking in. And even this morning the day ...of the stay, to really make sure. But this lady didnt want to hear nothing... She should learn some manners . Hotel should train their employees to be nice to costumer... Cause we pay for their jobs... How Ever at the end a very nice Gentleman named "Daniel" helped us and gave us our exact reservation rooms. He was courteus and nice. He deserves five stars .

Always clean rooms, very nice sheets, pillows and beds. Hotel finished a long renovation recently and is very close to being complete but it s definetly very nice overall. If I had one issue it would be that the dining options at the hotel are Morton s steakhouse (I have yet to walk in there) and the daily grill (there most nights for dinner when I stay there). The food is very good and so are the drinks, a bit pricey for my taste but being that it is in Bethesda prices are average. However the daily grill is not part of the hotel persay, so you are not allowed to leave with a drink to bring up to your room, also they aren t allowed to have audio on there TVs which is a main complaint of most guests. But definelty one of the best hotels around.

The place was fine and it's a great location with it being so close to the metro. But the construction that took place inside the building made the morning...difficult.

Poor temperature control in the room (1021). The control doesn'twork at night. It was stuffy all the time. The bathroom makes a clucking noise as water runs down. The cleaning staff are very responsive. Brought extra blanket when asked

There was nothing particularly wrong with my experience. Rooms were clean. It is, however, undergoing a huge renovation. I'm sure it will be amazing once it is done. Also, they don't validate parking. $12 for parking on $184/night stay during construction was a bit surprising.

Very nice and I love how it is the only 4 star hotel in Bethesda! Very nice staff, beautiful lobby, and wonderful service!

The rooms were simple and clean. Pricing was average for location.

It is quiet and in a good location. Lots restaurants nearby. However it has been under construction for some time.
