My stay was ok, I was there on conference. The conference hall was freezing. It was very cold outside. The area surrounding the hotel was not very safe. The staff were friendly and very accomadating. It's an older hotel but we'll maintained. Wish there was another restaurant in the hotel. The food in Forks was really good. High end, but not necessarily continental basic. I chose to try the "Bison Pastrami" on marble rye. Fantastic. But not something most may be willing. The majority ordered Fish and chips that I was sitting with. I think for familiarity.

Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable. We had a great view of the mountains and the square outside of the convention center. The pool was nice and warm but could have been cleaner. Staff was very friendly.

Went for a wedding. The staff was neglected to tell me how to get to my wedding reception without taking the stairs as i am handicapped. The food served was great but the servers were sloppy and not methodical while serving the champagne so the missed half of us at my table and served two small boys (like 6 or 7 yrs old). The venue was beautiful and the bride seemed happy which is what mattered most.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in downtown. Within walking distance of everything and anything you could want or want to do. Great location and restaurants. Rooms leave something to be desired though. There is no mini fridge or microwave in the rooms, and if you are a weirdo like me and are on a strict meal plan and carry a cooler of food with you this is a fairly big problem. Air conditioning in the rooms isn't that and the water temperature and pressure leave much to be desired in the shower.

Antiquated by Hyatt's standards; late 80s / early 90s vibe to the place.

The hotel bar is okay, but just why spend hotel bar prices on mediocre drinks when really great bars are mere steps away on Central Ave.

The hotel restaurant is like most hotel restaurants: overpriced and underwhelming despite the hipster name de jour they give it. It does have a fitness center, though it isn't that great.

The one saving grace is that there is a pool (third floor rooftop), but it's sometimes not open.

The only high end hotel in downtown that I'd recommend to an out-of-towner is Andaluz. That said, East Downtown (EDO) has a nice hotel as well called Hotel Parq Central, and the Embassy Suites isn't too far away.

If you *must* stay downtown, and don't want to spend a whole lot I'd recommend Hotel Blue which is under $100 for nice rooms, Tempurpedic beds, flat screens, etc.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt for a conference also happening there. Housekeeping was reliable and thorough. My check-in was smooth and everytime I had to approach the front desk they were friendly and fast. The conference food was pretty standard. I did appreciate that I could order some microwaved mac n cheese and a fruit cup at 1 am after I arrived from the Airport without eating dinner. The full size Starbucks in the lobby was also nice. And if like me you are stuck in the conferance center all day and don't have time to go out shopping for gifts for your children, the gift and sundries shop on the 1st floor has more than your usual hotel gift shop offerings and lots for kids. The only issue we had here was the hot tub was kind of touch and go. Sometimes closed because of wind, sometimes not warm enough, I never got to use it but a friend finally did and said it was fine.

It's a okay hotel, soft beds, plenty of stores inside and offer room service. There wasn't a fridge or microwave in the room so that was a bit incovient. The phone in the room didn't work half the time and was stuck on speaker phone. Also the drain in the tub was clogged so it flooded a bit while we tried to shower. The staff seemed a bit irritated when we complained that the cheese on one of our salads was moldy, but to be fair is was 12am. They gave us a full refund and apologized in the morning. It seemed to be a bit of an off day for the staff here but I would give them a second chance if I was in the area again.

Nice enough rooms. Not all rooms have a nice view. Had issues with the toilet flushing. Looked like it was a previous problem that did not get fixed. Took over an hour to respond to maintenance request... but it was a Sunday so might be minimum staffing on Sundays. Friendly staff, clean rooms.

After booking a room for a 3 night stay back in March for Oct, and confirming in sept, we arrived to a closed hotel. No warning. We called the 800 number and the customer service person was rude! Thank goodness for Doubletree.

Not the best Hyatt Regency I've stayed at. Many fixtures are old and out dated. The bathroom could use a remodel. Overall it was a comfortable bed and everything worked. The bar served good mixed drinks.

I have such a mixed bag here. The staff at this hotel was not only amazingly accommodating; they really went above and beyond at every turn. Ricky in security and Jimmy in night shift bell an/valet/all around incredible problem solver are shining jewels for y all. They need raises immediately. Both of them are more capable than the positions they re in.

However, the room was less than standard. Lots of errant hairs in the sheets that weren t mine. Even after they were changed. Just not appealing. Obvious the rooms have been updated but no microwave, no minibar, and no fridge? This isn t the Hyatt standard That I was expecting. I would think corporate might want to think things through agai. Here maybe.

Especially when it comes to the bathroom. There were cracks in the lavatory, a broken left sink handle that leaked water horribly, extremely low water pressure, and a tub with a one and three quarter foot wall?! Also, toilet ran all night and didn t flush properly.

I expect more from y all. I also wasn t informed ahead of time through my Expedia booking that I would have to shell out $18 a night to self park or $22 a night to valet park. If I book through Expedia, don t make me feel like a second class citizen. Inform me about the parking situation ahead of time. I d have spent that money many times over on the minibar, if it had deigned to have existed.

I ll never ever stay here again, even though the staff was stellar.

Y all have the capabilities to do better. My stay should ve been event free. Instead, it was a chore.

Very friendly staff at check in. They gave us a map of the area and some recommendations for food. The room decor was sterile but clean and in good repair. I was disappointed to discover that there was no drink machine in the "ice and vending" area, at least not on the 5th floor. I went for a walk around the area to see what I could see. For a Saturday afternoon, I was amazed at how deserted the area was. I walked down both center and gold streets, where most of the action supposedly is, but ran into mostly homeless people asking for money. Most of the businesses appeared to be closed or a strip/night club which wouldn't be open until night time. Despite the Lack of attractions, I did find that part of downtown to be very clean.

Stayed one week in the hotel for a conference and had a great experience. Only disappointing thing was I could not use the pool. It was closed may be due to some technical problem but would have been a better experience if had swim in the pool in those sunny days

Stayed there and the restaurant manager and bar person we're very incompetent. Waited hours, yes hours to be served in the bar to not only get a drink but to pay for it and when attempting to get the bill was bad mouthed by the female working the bar saying " she was too busy to get me the bill". But because I had waited a total of 2.5 hours and ready to leave she called security on me. Horrible service and attitude of these two which made my stay disgusting. The only saving grace was the valet people who were very courteous and extremely helpful. Also lost jewelry there and reported it to the front desk and lost and found and never received a response. I will never use or recommend this hotel to anyone ever. Pool was out. Long lines for the restaurant and waiter was extremely rude when asked about my order after waiting an hour. Never received my order but the person with me received a burnt and cold hamburger. The manager, she refused to serve food and just left it as the cook was busting his butt to prepare it, she left it with her minimal staff. She was truly pitiful and obviously not familiar with how to adewuadequ support and manage. Reporting to their management was futile.

Friends had a wedding reception at the Hyatt and everything seemed really well done. The event staff were almost invisible in a good way the food was pretty good for buffet style. The MC was funny and in general everything went smoothly. The place is really nice inside, fresh, modern, clean.

Honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Room is nice, clean, and roomy. Weird there is no fridge in the room, but if that's what's wrong I'll take it. Bars are both really nice and everyone is super helpful.

It's ok. Visited during balloon fiesta and for the price you would expect a little more. Parking is valet ($20/day) or self park ($16/day) which seems pricey for an already pricey hotel. It hasn't been updated since it's been built. Our bathroom drain smelled like straight up sewage. I just think it could be a little nicer being a Hyatt hotel.

The hotel rooms urgently need a renovation to be on par with the other Hyatt's. The lobby is fine. Across the street from the convention center. In the surroundings there is not much to see, or where to eat, and in fact it is a bit intimidating since there are many people in street situations in groups in the area.

Very rude hotel staff, waited at least 4 hours after check in for a mini fridge that was promised a lot earlier for my son's insulin, the worst part was the worker who brought it up to the room just handed it over and rudely said "here you go!" I have stayed at many other Hyatt's in California and Texas and this was by far the worst experience in regards to customer service or the lack thereof.

While the service and room service were amazing, the shower always took 15-20 minutes to warm up and pointed towards the wall. I could never move it towards me. Also the bathroom always made weird noises.

Very nice, high class, hotel. Valet parking is basically the only option. Valet isnt the fastest so plan on around 15 min. The hotel is huge. The view from the rooms are great. The room is pretty standard.
