We had my bridal shower here this weekend. Rachael was a absolute WONDERFUL coordinator and her team was so helpful. They let my family decorate and they helped set up an amazing spread of food. The chutney and cheese was an all around favorite. The hot tub was cold when we went out to it but they quickly fixed that! The shops in the lobby were great for last minute necessities, starbucks coffee, and a lot more. The restaurant attached, Forque, was really good and great for a night cap too. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a couch pull out bed also and even for a pull out bed it was ok!
The location is also a huge plus. It is close to tons of local shopping, nightlife, and great food. We can't thank you enough for all your help and planning.

Had to stay there while visiting for my mother's funeral. Staff is friendly and accommodating, unfortunately we were moved from one dirty room on the 7th floor to an equally dirty room on the 9th. The "stains" on the chairs( both rooms) and carpeting made me sick to look at. I refused to sit in either one. The pool was also filthy, I pulled out cigarette butts from the bottom. Apparently it worked as someone's ash tray too. Hot tub was cold. Saw thugs sitting in the trunk of a car drinking and smoking in the garage. No not safe feeling at all. Stay here again never!

Wonderfully staffed, besides the one women at the front desk at night.good security
Only downfall is the homeless population is out at night in front of hotel But it's an Albuquerque issue not exclusive to downtown

Staff was very friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean. Bed and pillows were great. Downtown location was convenient to restaurants and some galleries, but not much in the way of shopping. There's a beautiful park across the street. That being said, it wasn't what we expected from a Hyatt. Carpet was dated, popcorn ceilings, the hot water faucet in the bathroom leaked at the base and puddled all over the counter, the tub/shower was a plastic/resin molded affair and we learned to shower at night because there was no hot water in the morning. And ewwwww - there was a rubber bath mat for the tub. No one wants to slip in the shower, but who wants to use that? The ice machine on our floor didn't work and there is no other vending, so if we wanted snacks or something to drink we had to schlep down to the store off the lobby. The Starbucks in the hotel plaza complex closed at 5 pm. What? We had 3 very quiet nights, but the 4th was awful. Several rooms of inebriated party goers whooping and hooting and even trying to get into our room. We called the front desk but the noise continued until after 3 am. Miserable night.

The front desk customer service is great. They're very nice and professional. It's a beautiful hotel. Everything is neat and clean. For the price we paid per night, it's WAY MORE than I expected! Great experience

I attended a conference here. The location was good, meaning it was close to the local food and drinks. The first and second floor conference areas easy to navigate.

Nothing short of excellence! I stayed here for the USA Weightlifting American Open event; it was the host hotel. I utilized the valet service upon arriving, was greeted very professionally and warmly. Front desk reception was equally courteous and very quick. Room was nice, as expected of a Hyatt, however there were a few extras to speak of. First, they had my requested refridgerator in room, there were 3 bottles of free water (huge bonus), and a single cup Keurig coffee maker with caffeinated and decaffeinated k-cups. Everything was clean and in good working order, bathroom stocked with basic amenities, very spacious. Plenty of hot water, not safety controlled warm water like a lot of hotels now. Individual climate control in room, again, unlike a lot of hotels now where you can't adjust. They had their sauna set aside for our use, which was really nice, considering our event. I would say this is the only area I could suggest improvement, the sauna was at 100 degrees, normal temps would be 150-200 degrees, so it wasn't useful in cutting water weight (there were no instructions or controls immediately identifiable). There are a few shops downstairs near lobby to include a Starbucks, a Keva Smoothie, and gift shop. They had a restaurant ground floor which has an impressive breakfast buffet for 20$ - well worth it for the options! James, our server was memorable - very pleasant and fun, perfect amount of customer service interaction! Thanks James! Hotel right across from convention center so it was super accessible to event, loved the ease! I highly recommend staying here if in the area!

The room had an odor of insect spray and mild mildew. We had to request A refrigerator which was loud, froze everything and the exterior all dinged up. The chair was dusty, faded and outdated. The carpet was badly stained with loose threads in certain areas. The wallpaper in bathroom was peeling. The baseboard on one of the platform beds was broken. The attractive lobby, the restaurant the Forque & the friendly hotel staff was the nicest thing about my stay here. This is the worst Hyatt that I have stayed at. This is 2018! Please upgrade this hotel with better decor, furniture, carpet, safes, microwaves and refrigerators in each room. We, as patrons, deserve better for the prices we pay.
