Hyatt Place Flushing LaGuardia Hotel Review

The staff is both attentive and helpful. I am staying with my mother who is wheelchair bound.

It's so so. Not as nice as I expected for a Hyatt and you have to pay for parking.

Close to La Guardia, Friendly reception desk at the front. Bunch of good service staff. Moderate price.

clean, professional staff, and newer furnishings. center of flushing chinatown so very convienent. just alittle expensive when compared to others in area.

Room was large and service was excellent. Everything went over as expected.

The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. While traveling with a family of 4, we received excellent meal recommendations (very close to hotel), directions for navigating the subway (subway stop is 1 block away) and complimentary shuttle to/from the LGA airport. There is also an indoor pool on the roof. The hotel is about a 30 minute subway ride from Times Square - for the money, it's definitely a good choice for a hotel in the area!

My go to spot on the weekends in flushing. No place better in district 25.

A lovely, modern hotel on a sleepy side street in the heart of Flushing. I didn't stay, but I certainly would have if I had the chance. The food options are amazing, even without leaving the block.

Awful shuttle service ie no shuttle service from hotel to LAG ( AIRPORT) and vs.

We were a last minute check late at night and they were outstanding.

The hotel confirmed early check in at 10.30 am or 11.00 am , got there next day and turned out there was no room and Staff replied to me that there will be no guarantee for early check in.
Hope they said that to me on the phone the day before so the deal will not happen for sure.
Other cons :
1. No free parking from hotel.
2. HVAC filter was damaged.

Terrible hotel, location is loud, walls and doors are thin.. if you re trying to sleep you can t over all the outside noise. Shower heads broken and barely any shower water pressure. Called front desk, oh we ll send someone, nothing. Also seems to be damp carpet in room not sure if the building leaks as well. Best to go elsewhere, guess I m stuck with this as our company hotel. Will definitely try to get company to change away!

This hotel is lovely. and in the perfect location for the BEST Asian food. What a treat!

Less than 3 blocks to Flushing Nee York subway and a half our subway ride to Grand Central Station or Times Square in Manhattan. Free shuttle to La Guardia airport and a $30 Uber ride to JFK.

I love the large indoor pool in the hotel. Rooms are large and have all the usual amenities including plenty of plugs for computers and phones. Fast and free internet , Hyatt Place breakfast is good but closes at 930 am.
In the Chinese neighborhood and plenty of ethnic and trendy restaurants around.

Great hotel with awesome views off the rooftop bar and lounge. Bartender is sop pretty !!! And food at the leaf is just amazing.

Lovely setup on the rooftop with a view of the manhattan skyline. Covered area and wind protected. Usual drinks and tap beer.

It's clean, 5 minutes walk to the Main St station. Staff are very polite and efficient with their services.

Great new hotel. But rooms are small. Clean and close to busy main street. Very easy to find food in that area

The hotel was a great place to stay for a two-night birthday trip to Flushing Chinatown. The room was spacious, attractive, and comfortable. Great nights' sleep. Excellent, friendly service from staff at all levels. Perfectly located for what we wanted and close to good public transit. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent breakfast and rooms, lovely rooftop lounge, kind staff, elevators that work properly. All unusual in NYC at this price.

Room was clean and modern. The voew from the room.was great, and there was a sofa bed in the room as well. The shower head was leaking eater on its hose when the water was turned on, amd water pressure was too low.

Solid choice, great roof top bar. If planes are landing to the West, great place spotting from up there.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed at Hyatt Place in Flushing NY. The staff are so kind, the rooms are always exceptionally clean, the breakfast buffet has quite a selection and they change up the hot foods daily which makes for a nice surprise every morning. If you are there to go into the city, it is a quick 5 minute walk to catch the 7 train. There is a nice little mall only a few blocks away if you need anything quickly. Many evenings it has been a little late walking back from the train and we have never felt threatened, or afraid. The local people are out and about late in the evening and keep to themselves. No complaints about this hotel and we will definitely be back!!!

Parked my car here long-term for a trip, they were the least expensive covered car park in the area and they shuttle you to LaGuardia for free

The accommodation was comfortable and roomy, there was no problem with noise either from inside or outside the hotel, and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would be a regular here!

The lobby is absolutely beautiful. They have great couches. However, you must actually stay for a night to be able to enter any of the facilities. This includes the bathrooms on the lobby and the rooftop view of Flushing.

I booked 2 rooms recently for a short family vacation. The hotel is well located and close to all of the shops and restaurants in Flushing. Rooms were updated, spacious, and had comfortable beds. Staff were really nice and friendly. The rooftop lounge has a nice happy hour. I would definitely stay here again.

I use Hyatt for parking when flying in/out of LaGuardia. The staff that I have encountered have been very friendly and accommodating. Elliot, who works the bar in the lobby, is very friendly and hospitable. Hotel is clean and welcoming.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch with coworkers at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel.

Friendly staff, clean and very spacious rooms. Liked the fact that the in room sofa is aligned with the nice flat screen tv. The free breakfast was pretty good- has hot and continental selections. Great location- basically in the heart of Flushing with many places to eat within a 6 block radius.

WORST airport parking service. TRUST ME DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I originally called the hotel to tell them I had landed. They told me to meet the shuttle upstairs on the second floor and that It will be there in 5 mins. I waited about 15 mins at this point and the shuttle still wasn t there. I called the hotel again and they told me it won t come for another 30 mins!!! They were so rude and not accommodating at All!!! If they told me earlier, I could have taken an uber. I had to take an uber on the way to the airport as well. It is better to get the bolt Parking than getting Hyatt parking. Worst decision I ever made. I hope corporate gets involved!

Went to Leaf Bar & Lounge on the rooftop of the hotel. Surprising nice for a spot in Flushing. Good view, great music, drinks are reasonably priced. Did not stay at the hotel, but the reception staffs are friendly.

They have a wonderful roof top sitting area. If the temperature is good, it is a great place to sit. If the weather isn't the inside works too.

Very bad service shower curtain was so bad that the water was coming out of the bathtub and the floor was getting wet and the the parking is NOT included...

Great and friendly place for a park and ride to LaGuardia airport. I was very impressed with the employees. 5star!
