Hyatt Gainey Ranch, Scottsdale, AZ Review

Very well laid out. It was easy to find where I needed to be.

Excellent friendly staff, extremely helpful and friendly. Great amenities, excellent room, amazing hotel. Close to great restaurants and shopping. A must stay if you are in Scottsdale.

Alto had the best gnocchi ever! They were like small potato pillows with excellent flavor. Also, the gondola ride was really fun and unique.

I visited here while on a work conference, and really can't comment on many of the amenities. Aside from a noticeable difference in quality of the food catered for our conference compared to the food at some of the restaurants (just eh), all staff went beyond expectations to meet our needs. Working from my end of the conference I mainly worked with Erin from sales, Susan our event concierge, and Lucas from PSAV. Everyone was courteous, from the day of my arrival when a power grid went out and the entire resort had no power for 4+ hours, to helping us with hotel accommodations being shuffled due to a major incident at the Phoenix airport. A few locals mentioned that people from the Southwest are just generally nice and hospitable, but the service I received at this Hyatt will encourage me to seek out other Hyatt resorts in my future travels.

Awesome music, beautiful atmosphere, the gondola ride was the perfect way to end a date night with my wife.

We have usually stayed at the Phoenician which we love but this may be our new favorite. The water slides were a concern but they have an adult pool and our room was very quiet. All the restaurants were excellent -- loved their bar area with nightly music. We did pay extra for the "Regency Club" which was a nice facility but not manned at all. Breakfast layout was great. The cookies available during the day were really good however we never did see anything for happy hour or half price drinks as touted. Workout facility could use an update. We did use the complimentary bikes and also had them send a package for us which was done easily and charged to our room. All the staff to a person were fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay for vacation or staycation! Always kind staff and a welcome drink when you check in! The pool and drinks are a fun time for all ages and the rooms are very clean and modern. Great place to feel spoiled!

Great spa!! Haven't stayed there nor seen rooms though.

They have great service at the reception. We really appreciate that kind service. Unfortunately we did not like that hotel for having a relaxing stay. The pool area is very noisy, even the adult area. A lot of loud people and music. We expected something better for that price we paid. I think it could be a good stay for families with kids, but not for a couple.

Valet was attentive and had great customer service skills

This is a very nice hotel the rooms are outstanding and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nice property and clean rooms with onsite sushi but $35 a day for valet and $25 a day for a resort fee is ludicrous. The downstairs bar can't even find bottle openers and the insane amount of tipping expected is obnoxious. Come prepared to not eat onsite as their restaurants have insane hours and are closed most days and add $100 per night to your stay in the most fees and tips required.

Haven't been here long but staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is really nice for a reasonable cost.

Had a wonderful dinner at Alto. Chef Christian Brady made wonderful good and came to visit our table! He was very nice.

Food was good but servings were small. It was also hard to get someone to take our order. The amenities were really fabulous though.

Bed was great, friendly service, great pools. Will stay here again with my family when we are back in town.

Had a Wonderful week at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Ganey Ranch, with good friends. With a week's notice, after our Cruise plans felt wrong, we changed gears, and really Enjoyed all the Hyatt & Scottsdale had to offer! Beautiful hotel, all amenities, wonderful staff, (welcome Margaritas) & many options to enjoy. Concierge staff was great, offering lots of great dining options. We drove to Sedona one day.. Beautiful!! Taliesen West to see FLW home/school, saw the Heard Museum, and the guys golfed @Talking Stick, while we Shopped at Kinelon Mall. Beautiful facility, wonderful weather, warm staff...will plan to return for future adventures.

SBW Restaurant- Sunday Brunch Buffet with bottomless Mimosas, Prime Rib, Crab Legs, custom made omelettes, limited selection of fresh fruit of the season & desserts. Restaurant & Hotel are both showing their age; though certain areas seem to have been upgraded. Service & food quality is above average but not worth what they charge - if full price. Check with Travelzoo for discounts or specials.

Absolute favorite hotel! Probably the best hotel in the entire region. To be able to watch a pleasure in the production again and again. The staff is very friendly. Authentic cuisine. The value for money is excellent for the offered quality. A big compliment and until the next visit!

Ate at their Italian Restaurant twice.... very good food, a gondola ride was included complete with Italian singers...

Nice resort to stay at for a staycation or when visiting Scottsdale

We were given Check-in Margaritas. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern and clean. They have access to outside patios or balconies. Plenty of pools with a beautiful view. Meals were a bit pricey but what one would expect at a resort. Plenty of options within walking distance. Parking was charged daily. We enjoyed meeting Lance the hawk at breakfast. There was music the nights we were there and lots of extras provided, be sure to read over the information provided.

Nice resort and awesome pool for the kids. Find the wildlife expert that walks around with the falcon and owls!

Excellent, I immediately was helped. I had a stroller, therefore they helped me by showing me all the ways to access ramps to get to my destination.

Incidental fees are a little bit extreme. Otherwise okay.

Had a terrible night. A party started next door at 4am and security did nothing. Got a different room.

Amazing spaces to roam/lounge. Adult pool area perfect for those of us without kids, sandy beach area of pool would be so fun for family getaways. Clean rooms, beautiful showers.

Great rooms but be wary of rooms close to atriums as can be noisy. Really lovely and helpful staff. Conference rooms have excellent padded seats for long conference days!

I loved the pool it was the best part of my stay and everyone was really kind and they gave me a free caprison

If you didn't know there's a restaurant in the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa in Scottsdale Arizona you might think that a hotel wouldn't have a restaurant that would be decent but this place is awesome went there last night with my wife and service and food was great always is if you haven't gone if you didn't know go check it out.

Excellent staff, absolutely beautiful place to stay.the children loved it, plenty of pools.

All of the separate pools made a busy hotel seem much less so. I really appreciated how small children congregated in the beach area, the volleyball area was separate, and there was an adult only pool.

Very nice pool with lots of shade. Waitress service at your lounge chair. Food was good. Nice waterslide and sandy beach entrance to the pool.

Great service. All of the amenities were top notch. The restaurant in the hotel was fantastic. It seems like everyone goes out of their way to give them best possible experience.

Beautiful setting, however the lobby was HOT! It was surprising to see ladies fanning themselves including myself there. It seemed the air would circulate weakly for a minute then nothing, usually you can count on relief from the heat in this type of envioroment. That was unfortunate when enjoying 2 rounds of cocktails for 2 and appetizers at over $100.

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale was an absolute dream. We got married about an hour away from the hotel and they allowed us to check in and have our bags in our room so when we got in from our wedding we didn't have to deal with the checking in process. We had an issue with our room situation and they were very accommodating and made our wedding night amazing. Mauro was constantly checking on us and knew us by name. He made our hotel stay so easy. He's so approachable and made it hard for us to leave. Amazing customer service.
