When we ordered and paid in full for our new master bed, mattress, and box spring on April 16th, we were it would take 2 weeks to for Hurwitz Mintz to receive our furniture and they would call to schedule a delivery. I never heard from anyone, so I called on April 29th and I was told now my furniture wasn't even shipping to HM for another week and that the shipping company takes a long time. After still not hearing from anyone for almost another 2 weeks, today I'm informed that my furniture has still not shipped to HM and won't be arriving until the end of May. No one has attempted to contact me to explain the delay, apologize, or offer any sort of compensation. Let's not even mention since I living the Luling area, HM only comes once a month to make deliveries. So I could potentially be another 6+ weeks without my fully paid for bedroom set. I'm very disappointed in the customer service and the lying of the salesman. Terrible experience and this will be my last purchase with Hurwitz Mintz.
Update: At the end of the May I received a post card in the mail (while we had been on vacation, none the less) that my furniture had arrived and that I should call to schedule my delivery. That has to be the biggest joke ever, although I shouldn't be surprised since no one could lift a phone receiver up to ever call me back or respond to my compliant via email - why would anyone call to tell me my furniture arrived? Guess they assumed since they had my money, customer service no longer applied. My furniture was finally delivered on June 10th and this was the only positive experience about this purchase. The two gentleman that made the delivery called on their way so I could meet them from work. Set up everything quickly and professionally. Maybe they should be the ones handling sales too.
