Jason Webster was able to take our design for a retirement home and turn it into reality within 6 weeks. We were in a crunch with building permits expiring and no builder lined up at a price we could afford. Huntington Homes was able to deliver on all the key elements of our home that we wanted including insulation, windows, built-ins, flooring and siding. We highly recommend that folks check with Huntington Homes before they build a new home. You may be surprised at the bottom line. Additionally, the final price is the final price. There are no unexpected fees once the contract is signed.

In traditional builds, the contractor allows for contingency fees of up to 20% with no solid guarantee on final cost. Something real important to consider if you are on a fixed income.

Huntington Homes built an energy-efficient home for us. Jason Webster referred us to an excellent architect from Hillview Design and worked seamlessly with us and the architect throughout the design and building process. Huntington's project manager, Paul Osbourne, was fantastic --easy to work with, thorough, responsive. And the builders they sent from Reliable Builders were first rate. Our modern home design was a bit different from a typical Huntington Home, but they took on the challenge and excelled, with quality materials, workmanship and attention to detail. The modular design allowed us to get the energy and design features we wanted while maintaining cost-efficiency. I highly recommend the company.

Our Huntington Home was built in 2016, and we've had three plus wonderful years so far. From the beginning the process was very inclusive. It could have been very intimidating and confusing but the different options were carefully explained and made the process very smooth.
It was amazing to watch the house rise on the foundation in just 6 hours. The finishing process went very well and Huntington Homes came back within a year to correct any minor issues. The service was great.

In 2014 Huntington Homes provided me with an excellent modular home built to my design and delivered on time and with very high quality construction. I had looked at other modular companies and after some serious issues with one landed at Huntington Homes. Their designer/sales associate, Larry Roux was most helpful in teaching me the special nuances involved with modular design. Together we developed a design that came in on budget. My GC was most impressed with the fit and quality of their execution. If you have something in mind and need to execute in a timely fashion modular is the way to go. I have great faith in Huntington Homes and highly recommend them.

We purchased our HH after great reviews from a person that we knew. We decided on a Barnard model, but it had to be shrunk down a bit to fit our building lot. Jason was able to do that as well as reformat the existing floor plan so that we could realize our needs as well as enhance the view of the lake. We started in November of 2013 with the demolition of our existing house and we moved in early February. While there are a lot of things to be happy about, the foremost was the fact that HH was the General Contractor for the entire build. Jason took ownership of the demolition, the excavation of the foundation, the cement work, the installation of our standby generator and the final landscaping. Having someone who coordinated the whole build left us with no concerns about scheduling and having people where they needed to be at the right time. Jason, if asked, will also put you in touch with some of the finest providers and contractors who do nothing but quality work. These include painters, landscapers, walkways and kitchen appliances. Truly, all that we had to do was to make the initial decisions and things got done. We have now been in the house for 6 years. It is incredibly well made and a joy to heat. Our coldest month resulted in a gas heating bill of $180 which included the boiler, hot water, gas range and gas dryer. As a customer, you can also expect HH to rectify any problems that occur with the only requirement that you tell them what is needed. The entire staff is dedicated to doing quality work and to making things right when something rarely goes wrong. I have encouraged others to go to them with no qualms that their experience will be like ours. This really is a quality organization.

You CAN get a completely CUSTOM designed home in a modular build - we did and it worked out brilliantly. Huntington Homes WILL build custom modules unlike some builders who insist you use their existing boilerplate plans. Having a more predictable schedule and budget was also a big factor in our decision to build using Huntington. They delivered a very high quality house AHEAD of schedule (unheard of in building) and exactly on-budget. While we tried to select most of our finishes from within the wide range offered by their manufacturers, Huntington was hugely accommodating in using custom lighting and fixtures we had delivered to their warehouse before the build. Throughout the process we felt like all of their crews took special pride in our house and it shows in the quality of the work.

The home building process with Huntington Homes was very simple, straight forward and transparent. Jason worked with us to make sure we would be able to attain our net zero home goal on our budget. The Huntington Home building process is far superior to traditional building methods and the product speaks for itself. Even well after the home was complete, Jason and his team have been very responsive to answer all of our questions, no matter how small. Thank you to the Huntington Home team, I can't recommend them enough.

Huntington Homes built our custom designed home in Hinesburg and we couldn't be happier with the process, building, and final product. They were professional and easy to work with.
