Brilliant experience, email enquiries answered promptly despite the 12 hour time difference from the UK. Hat was ordered, packed , shipped and delivered. The sole UK importer still hasnt responded to any request for information. Highly recommended well done Hats by the 100.

I rang Hats By the Hundred as I sort of knew what my friend wanted for a present but was not too sure. I spoke with a lovely lady who was most helpful. She helped me choose a hat. I needed the hat delivered by June 4 but was a bit wary of delivery as a result of COVID 19, SO, I completed my order early. LO AND BEHOLD, as per their guarantee, it arrived within 7 days. My friend was sooooo chuffed. THANKS a lot, HATS BY tHE HUNDRED. Your service was fantastic.

I ordered a Lotus Bamboo/ viscose turban on Saturday 11th July 2020 per express post and was delighted to receive my parcel this morning , Tuesday 14th July 2020 after being continuously notified every step of the way ! I am very impressed by the the product and excellent service and would recommend Hats by the Hundred any day.

I ordered a hat for my husband on the Tuesday at lunch time and paid for the courier delivery within two to three days as we are going on holidays in a week. It left the store in Queensland on the Tuesday afternoon 30July 2019 and arrived at our door in rural southern NSW at 11am the next day, Wednesday 31 July 2019. We were kept up to date the whole way both from Hats by the Hundred and the courier company. Excellent service and hubby loves the hat. We will be back for sure. Thank you.

Ordered 2 Akubra hats in late December. They arrived in 12 days. Great shape. No problems. They sent me email updates on the package location. Great hats & great prices.

We drove 5hrs to visit this store for a fitting as I was too unsure to buy online. Couldn't have been happier, the young lady that served us on the sunday was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Shop has a great stock, well displayed and on weekdays they can access their warehouse for more stock. Parking could be interesting on weekdays as there seems to be a shortage due to a new development across the road and plenty of signs about towing/fines so watch the clock. Happy to recommend to friends/family who are after a similar range and service.

Although there was a mix up with my order, (Sometimes these things happen) I was impressed not only with the quality of my hat, but also with the excellent customer service I received. I got into contact with the folks at the store and they immediately fixed with issue. I'll definitely be looking at purchasing another hat here in the future. Thank you!

Last month my wife and I visited your store in Southport. We were greeted by a young lady (long dark hair), she was passionate about damn hats, knew her stuff inside and out. What a great hat selection! The result hundreds of dollars poorer but lots of hats. They will last well as I now know how to look after them, thanks to this knowledgeable lass, keep that girl on she s a winner, wish I could remember her name.

Ordered online. Hat was shipped next day and arrived soon thereafter. Purchase came with a hat filler insert if the hat was slightly large, and an information sheet that contained a large amount of helpful hints to maintain, stretch, shrink, and store the product. Very impressed, I highly recommend 'Hats By The Hundred'

I bought a hat for a gift to be delivered directly to an overseas destination.I was a bit nervous it would make it on time because it showed out of stock but there was a message saying they would deliver it asap. I was thrilled that it made it to the destination in less than 2 weeks, even though it was out of stock at time of order. My great nephew loves his new hat!

Ordered a hat online, and it was delivered in perfect condition 2 working days later, regular (not express). Very impressed! Price was good too.

Hi l dont usually buy online but decided I needed a hat for a wedding. I was a bit nervous about opening the box when it was delivered i had made up my mind I'd be disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised to find the most amazing hat. Fitted and looked Everyone was impressed with the quality and price. It was delivered interstate quickly. This is now my favourite store and it won't be my last purchase.

Now that I've had my Barmah squishy hat, for a couple of weeks now I can review it. I love it perfect fit and comfortable, I've treated it with Aussie leather treatment which worked great. Nice to walk in rain and keep my head dry, and keeps the sun off my ears and face, recommend by my doctor due to skin cancer. My coworker ladies comment " nice cool hat" the guys try to talk Australian teasing me, so it's a conversation piece also. Hats off to Hats by the hundred, no pun intended! for great customer service and reasonable delivery time of 9 days to Florida. Keep up the good work!

purchased a squishy kangaroo hat on-line, (I would go one size up from the measurement guide). Hat is fantastic and I received a free priority delivery service upgrade. Overall, a great purchase experience.

The problem with getting fitted for a hat is most retailers have a very poor selection. NOT HERE, literally there are hundreds of hats on shelves which line each wall from floor to ceiling. The staff are most friendly and very helpfull, but will leave you alone to explore. Plenty of parking at the door. But beware, the selection is so good that you will buy more than one.

I have always wanted an iconic Akubra hat and in May 2018 I finally ordered the Colly from Hats by the Hundred, which takes 2-3 months to make.
It s finally arrived (well packaged) and I m not disappointed, the selection, quality and craftsmanship of this hat is second to none. Bring on more summers like we ve just experienced in GB and I ll always be in the shade, if you want quality, don t hesitate and look at the variety of hats sold by this company, for me it s a great investment.

From someone with a lifetime of hating hats in the UK and here , I am now an Akubra convert .
My Coober Pedy in Bluegrass Green arrived yesterday and I love it already.
I watched the many online videos and looked at pictures of the young lady wearing them , which helped. I half expected that I would return it . How I wish I'd had this on all my travels , so far , around Australia. Excellent customer service and arrived in perfect condition here in NSW within days Will shop here again. Many thanks.

What a fantastic experience!!! .... I ordered online in Regional NSW Yesterday at 11:30am, paid for "2-3 day delivery", and had the hat on my doorstep before 9:30am the very next morning! Not only, did they deliver unexpectedly QUICK! ... But they had the best prices on the Akubra hat I wanted too. I could not recommend these guys enough. I will definately be purchasing my next hats through them. Matt

Very unpleasant online shopping experience, merchant is difficult to deal with. I returned the item at my own expense but they refuse to refund the cost of the initial shipping, and as a result I've been short-changed. Beware dealing with them - would recommend buying hats elsewhere.

They sent me a defective hat. The underside of the brim is almost white. It looks terrible with the rest of the dark brown hat. It certainly does not match the pictures on their web site. I have tried three times to explain this to their customer service people, they refuse to acknowledge that the hat is defective and will not help me.

DO NOT BUY HATS FROM THESE GUYS!!! Amazon is a much better option. At least you can return defective products to them.

Never visited the store but I have ordered some Akubras for my collection from this place and the shipping to the midwest of the USA was extremely faster than orders from only a state or 2 away and the condition of said items had been perfect and flawless. I have worried about other places delivering items to my door. Never Hats By The Hundred or Australian Gear (same place from what I understand) Will order from them again.

PS- Also compare prices on Akubras. This company consistently has the cheapest prices hands down!! Dont believe me? Look and compare. Research what I stated for yourself.

I purchased a Coober Pedy in Blue Grass Green online and took delivery today. The hat is perfect, great colour and the opal is a nice touch. I have many Akubra hats and have purchased in many ways. I can with out a doubt say that Hats by the Hundred is by far the best experience so far. The delivery was quick, i had a question i wanted responded after my transaction and was dealt with promptly and professionally. The icing on the cake however was the way they package the box, all ill say is exceptional!! it goes with out saying that Akubra are an exceptional brand, your service and attention to detail compliment entirely. I dont usually (never) review anything but certainly worth my time. Keep it up.

I ordered an Acubra hat and when it came it was the wrong size I was told to ship it back. The shipping for both directions cost me about 100USD and I still don't have a hat. I really wanted to replace the one I had been wearing for the last 25 years. Too Bad

We received exceptional service by the gentleman who served us. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We bought the right hat based on his vast knowledge of the fabric types and UV benefits. A very enjoyable outing to buy a hat.

I ordered online a cap on November 27 within Australia. I have not received it, the company has not responded to my emails, and now I find there are phone numbers for both Australian Gear and Hats by the Hundred, but they are all information only, and it is impossible to speak to anyone at either of these companies.
What is happening? I don't like dobbing in a company and business is important, but this is not fair and just.
I want to find out where the cap was sent to and I need to speak with someone. I shall write another review when this is resolved, and hopefully it will be a good review. Dorothy Melbourne Australia

My hat just arrived today after being on short backorder, and purchased over the internet. Made one phone call to discuss my order, and the young lady on the phone had great customer skills. Prompt, fast postage and exactly as described/ordered. Highly recommend this business. Now all I need to buy is a horse... :-)

This shop has a great range of hats of all styles. I was searching for an Akubra "Coober Pedy". They had my size and colour in stock. It normally sells for $235, but I paid just under $190. Customer service was good and not over the top. I am a very happy customer!
