Hubbard Inn Review

Bought $75 ticjetrts for bar crawl, was at legitimately the front of the line...cord pulled across us waiting to enter the building. At 11:53 am. When our tickets ended at 12:00 pm. We were told that the time was up and we could pay $75 to get in through the other door. They then closed off the entrance to us and our only option was to walk in the street. When we pulled up our email to ask about the time frame of our passes, they told us to talk to the vendor and walk away. I would rate 0/5 if I had the option.

Their Raw bar promotion Monday-Friday is the best Happy Hour in the city!

Delicious drinks. Loved the decor and atmosphere! Bartender was super friendly.

Would recommend the pear and Brie appetizer on happy hour, pairs well with wine ($6 for one choice of white or red, I had the red choice; Pinot noir)
Service left something to be desired. Didn t offer us a regular menu or seem like they were super interested in serving us ... but with the good app, drink prices and good music, would still come back and try again.

Went there one Saturday and had a table reserved. When we got there, someone who knew us already drank our bottles and chasers. Then when we asked for another bottle they gave us one (nice), but no chasers. Then they let someone buy out our table without us even knowing it. Once everyone pushed us out of the way, it was just a mess of arguing and confusion. When you get a table it s just your group against the wall being engulfed by everyone else. No special area or anything. Just not what I expected for paying for a table/VIP.

Went to the new Hubbard Inn for happy hour and had a great experience. The updated menu and craft cocktails didn t disappoint. Service was on point from the minute we walked in. Be sure to check it out.

Cute place... nice atmosphere. Wait staff was literally amazing even with a hug event going on upstairs. Will be back. Love this place

We were there for a get together last night. They ran out of four different beers and so we were unable to order first choice in several instances. We asked for the manager several times-and were assured he would show up,
The one star is for the manager who was too busy to come over and speak to us.
Service started good, but was inconsistent---and the place was not full..
If you notice, the one stars are all about service---Are the owners of this establishment reading these reviews? Apparently they don't care.
Save your money and go to a place that is customer service oriented

Great service, great mixed drinks, tasty menu, not too expensive. Good atmosphere and location.

Great job on the renovations the restaurant and the menu definitely benefited from the facelift. My favorite items were the margarita flat bread and the octopus tostadas. Management and staff are very attentive always anticipating the customers needs!

Went Saturday morning to this classically decorated bar . The crabcakes are to die for. We also tried the porkbelly dish . The wait staff is very attentive. We will return

Went for brunch on a Saturday morning around 11. Was surprised that it was completely dead. The food and drinks were really good and the service was also great. Definitely would go back. A little pricey.

The service was ok. A little slow. The oysters were good and a good price.

Had a severe allergic reaction to the food after asking if the dish was gluten free and being assured it was. When I questioned the server, she said don t worry I put it on the ticket and walked away. It took 25 minutes to bring my drink and a side of bacon I ordered was delivered at the same time as my check. Not a good experience. I was definitely expecting more after reading the reviews. Spoke to the AGM and was invited back in to give them another try really?!!!!

Great atmosphere, good drinks, good food. The bison burger is phenomenal with my personal favorite, sweet potato fries.

Key Club is pretty dope. The environment gets pretty good and it's not that expensive. We got bottle service which was 3 bottles two of Vodka and 1 bottle of Tequila for a group of 8 of us and that was plenty.

Come here for the drinks! The old fashion and Manhattan are great.

Definitely come here for brunch. When we went one Saturday, the food was delicious and unlike most places in Chicago, was suprisingly uncrowded. It also has a spacious area in the back at night for drinks.

I like this place for night scenes. However, as far as the restaurant goes, the service is horrible. I sat here over 30 min, asked 2 staff to send a server, and still waiting for a server to take my order 45 mins later. Not even water on my table. And it is bot even busy.

We had our company party here. It was FANTASTIC! The service was great, the food delicious and never had a problem getting drinks at the open bar. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy. It's a bar I can't wait to visit again sometime!

Great service - a friend had a birthday here and they threw in complimentary bottles of champagne. Solid food and drink choices.

Good food and wine selection BUT if you are looking for an intimate place for conversation over a meal look elsewhere. The music is loud to the point of drowning out all hope of hearing anyone.

Food was good the decor was interesting and unique.

The restaurant is visually appealing, the service was lacking. I went with my firm for a business lunch and we waited an hour for our food. We ultimately had to leave before our food was served in order to attend another meeting back at our office. Two members of our party stayed at the restaurant and brought our food to the office in plastic containers. We went to the Hubbard Inn to have a nice business lunch with our client. What we got was "take-out". I'll pass on this restaurant next time.

Very cool vibe here. Comfortable chic. Not very busy for a Monday night over 4th of July weekend, but that's okay. Serves some really interesting drinks.

Hubbard Inn's beer selection is nothing short of awesome. From craft to IPAs to your regular domestics, its a wide range you can choose from and ON TAP! They even have Grey Goose and Bacardi on tap. I've never seen a Grey Goose spout before.

Everytime I've been here it's for after work drinks or a special event. Most recently they hosted an event which included an open bar and small bites. They had slider versions of both their bison burger and lamb burger and both were delicious. The feta and sauce that went with it complimented it perfectly. Everything they brought out was tremendous.

Considering the area, it's reasonably priced as well. And Hubbard has 3 floors so it's plenty of room. Great for hosting events.

Waited 20 minutes with no server. Everyone waiting to pay or get served. Booked on open table and they couldn't find our reservation.

This place is awful. Service was slow, drinks were overpriced, and management was incredibly rude to paying customers. Definitely would not recommend. Plenty of other bars in the area that are worthwhile

The staff and venue is amazing, the drinks and the nightclub MASQ is a very fun experience.

Very cool space. Lofty, chill, and refined. Classic bones with contemporary accents. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. A decent beer list with a $4 IPA special (21st amendment). Their cocktails looked good too. The seafood was prepared at a small cold station at the end of the bar right in front of me. The oysters were Mystic Point, from Virginia, and they were pretty good. I had a scallop crudo, which was awesome, big&rich, and flavorful. Plus a raw clam, just to try it, which was good but very small. The oysters and clam weren't perfectly shcucked but it was all fresh. It was served with lemon and cocktail sauce topped with creamed horseradish. We also had some fried cheese nuggets with a perfectly crunchy breading and some sort of tomato jam sauce. $10 for six curd-sized bites, which is absolutely absurd, but these also might have been the best fried cheese I've ever eaten. Definitely worth another visit here.

beautiful staff, and a pretty crowd goes to this place. the drinks are pretty expensive though, i do not believe the price standard shown for this establishment is adequate enough for what the prices really are.

The food, atmosphere, service, valet, music and drinks were all on point! This spot is an absolute must! Note: their steak tacos are THE BEST that s I ve ever sunk my teeth in. You literally don t need ANY sauce. The carne was juicy and flavorful :)

Went to see the remodel since I was given a free drink voucher at my building. This place is a train wreck. Staff is ill prepared. My wife spoke to the manager (Greg). He was rude and dismissive. Skip this place. There are better options in the area.

This is hands down one of the best places I have ever been. The only thing better than the atmosphere is the food! The staff are all super nice and very professional, I will definitely be coming back a lot.

Really nice place. Unique interior. They have happy hour during week days. For 1$oysters, some special for cocktail shrimps and snow crab legs. Very good service. During busy hours getting pretty crowd and loud.

Hubbard Inn is a fantastic spot for happy hour. Great drinks, nice selection of apps, and a cool vibe - you can't go wrong. Not sure I'd recommend coming here for a meal, as my experience has been a bit spotty on that end. But stop in on a Thursday night and grab a few drinks, you won't be disappointed.

It was really crowded but Jasmine was busting her butt literally running and hurrying around to take care of us and many others who seemed to be happy with her as well. It was a crazy busy night but Jasmine was awesome and helped us have a great time.

Great renovation. Amazing food. One of the best old fashions in the city.

Kind of disappointed. My pasta with clams was salty. Koodos to the waitress. I think she was handling the entire floor by herself. Nice ambience. Great location.

Very nice atmosphere. Had brunch on a cool August Sunday morning and got to sit by the floor-to-ceiling windows, which really was the best of both worlds. Food was perfectly prepared, as were the cocktails, and the price was right. Great way to end our Chicago culinary experience - this time.

Very expensive for what is offered. A good place to have a drink. Food is barely average despite the fancy menu layout. I ordered the kale salad with salmon. Fish was overly salty which is indicative of a frozen product which stayed too long in a freezer. Will never go back.

Incredible experience! Our waitress was attentive and thorough. Our lemon drop martinis were made strong and delicious! The menu is diverse and authentic. The oysters are a great deal! The duck Ruben had amazing flavor. The shrimp and grits was a great combo that I would've never thought would go good together. The salmon entre was prepared perfectly and came out quickly! Overall, 10/10 experience! I would highly recommend to friends and family!
