If I could give 0 start I would! Worst customer service ever! I had an appointment with my dad for physical therapy I did the appointment over the phone I request off from my job just to take my dad to this appointment for them to say it s no appointment for him. Then they say maybe is somewhere else, it s so unprofessional for me that I call exactly to their number n it was a waste of time on top of that the workers the front desk from orthopedic office and the front desk from assistant and cashier office are so helpless and so rude like if they are working for free! Show some sympathy at least. The lady from the cashier assistant was the worse want to give me attitude saying if there is no appointment then there is no appointment so what you think I will say we have an appointment to go waste my time and money? Instead she should look or do something because i call and if they don t do their job like they suppose to ITS NOT MY FAULT THSE PEOPLE IS VERY INCOMPETENT!

I just called to confirm the physical address and get a doctors name and I spoke with Helene. She was pleasant, professional and polite. Thank you for an amazing customer service experience. It doesn t cost us anything to be nice to someone. In the climate our world is in it was refreshing to talk with her, thank you and please continue what it is you do! Stay safe.

This is written purely to stick it to the staff who refuse to answer the phones in a timely manner. Good luck trying to make an appointment... either hire more staff to take care of your patients or hire a staff that actually cares.. or close the hospital and turn into a facility to house the homeless. 4th world country rating from me... meanwhile I left word with Mrs Freeman at the complaints department.. hopefully she will get back to me..

Horrible hospital, such a rip off, billed me twice for a service. Still haunting me with the second bill even though I DID pay my bill. Also billed me for tests they never performed
Just because one or a few employees did not do their job, I have to fix their issues. Go to any other hospital but this one. HUH 0 out of 10. I'd rather sue them and pay a lawyer than let them rip me off. AND CHECK YOUR BILLL.

This was the worst hospital experience I ve ever e...

This was the worst hospital experience I ve ever endured. I came to the hospital after an accident. I asked the staff multiple times to cover my shoulder as it was banged up pretty badly. It never happened. Keep in mind that I stayed overnight. It stung so bad I thought it was infected. I arrived around 7pm and didn t receive treatment until 12am. During my stay, I had no phone or call button and staff hardly came to my room. We thought my hand was broken, so imagine me only being able to use one hand to take care of myself. I also laid on the bed for hours in the cold, no shirt and no gown. Staff didn t keep their word, stating they will bring me food and come to discharge me. My friend had to literally bug them to death before they let me go. After the whole ordeal was over, I find out that they note my emergency visit as a routine visit, getting my insurance claims denied. After my insurance paid them 20,000 for doing hardly anything, they keep bugging me to pay another bill. I ve received three different bills with different amounts. When I go online to pay the bill, I can t even find it in the system. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

I was recently seen for a PFT test.
I would be remiss if I did not give Mrs Gete her due diligence. She was sooo pleasant. She accepted me in spite of me being two hours late getting toGeneral. I thought my appointment was at 10:00 when it was at 11:00 and it took an hour to get through Admissions (thats a whole different review. But being this late, she went into her lunch hour to take care of me and she did it with such a pleasant attitude. I truly appreciate her. She made me think twice about changing my place of care due to the awful experience that I had in Admissions. Thank you sooo much Mrs Gete.

This hospital needs mass rehiring across the board...

This hospital needs mass rehiring across the board. Poor service and lack of professionalism, even with upper management. Don t bother calling cause they won t answer the phone or return calls when you leave voicemails. On the rare occasion someone does answer the phone, they re usually NOT helpful and will transfer you around or forward you to non-working numbers. Management is no better either, as they have very little remorse and do little to nothing to assist or improve.

The wait times are long, even when you have an appointment, you ll likely wait at least 30-45 minutes PAST your appointment time with NO updates.

They seem overwhelmed all around but that s no excuse to be rude to patients.

Although it is one big hospital, the interdepartmental communication is nonexistent. Their computer systems are outdated and also don t connect so expect a lot of physical papers and walking back and forth to admissions, insurance and whichever departments you need to go to.

Important to note:
No waiting room for surgery.
Not all departments do appointment reminders (most DONT)

Best thing that happen to that hospital was the gift shop only reason they get 2 stars for those 2 people in there and front desk carry s there own conversations thank god for the lovely lady with all the hair nurses rude doctors slow GO TO GW or GO HOME

For some reason when I applied for a scholarship I...

For some reason when I applied for a scholarship I was sent to the Howard University Hospital, I ask "why am I here" and they said we believe you have a mental problem, I asked "why I've only bummed my head 20 times this past week" they didn't say anything?
but later one they mentioned that I applied for this hospital without a certificate, and that's not true I've helped my cousins many times with putting on bandages and even given them an ice pack, I think I'm very capable

it was a nice hospital though :)
