Easy to reach. Valet parking fee $ 25 per day + tax. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Has a cafe and restaurant with a bar. There is no drinks menu at the bar. Breakfast is offered as a buffet or from the menu. In the area many restaurants, bars and snack bars. Downtown within easy walking distance.
Place was easy to find. Received prompt service at the check-in desk. Rooms were clean and as expected. Didn't visit the lobby lounge as we had to leave early morning. No complaints.
They helped me get a cheap room very last minute.

They have a glass roof in the front of the hotel where there is a restaurant. Great for having lunch in the sun. Hotel clean. The staff is really nice.
Decent place. Rooms are clean and people are nice. Very pricy for the value. Rooms are not very big, building is older. Carpet is old. Furniture is new. Bed is ok. Parking is valet only. Bathroom fan is very loud. Desk is small.
Good size rooms. Has a nice view. The construction around the hotel is pretty bad though.
We have been in training and the air-conditioned area has not worked, so the Training Price is not acceptable.

This hotel has a great location... however the rooms are very small, the building is old, there are no facilities, bad elevators and very noisy.
Great staff and fantastic service!! A 15-minute walk from the VIA Rail station and about 15 minutes from Place des Arts. Close to Metro for easy getting around Montreal.
Perfectly fine for my purpose which was to attend a concert three blocks away at night. Hotel was clean and quiet and I felt safe walking alone at night in that area. They had a nice lounge where I could wait and read while waiting for my room to be ready (I arrived before the official check in time).
Excellent location--walking distance to Old Port, McGill campus, endless galleries and museums, shopping. Food sources seem a bit limited in this area but not too far to leave the downtown area. The hotel is an older building, serviceable but showing its age in the rooms. Slow internet. Recommended for location but give the cafe in the lobby a miss.

Nice experience for an overnight stay. the room was very clean, the service extremely courteous (especially compared to another Best Western where I went) and the price was reasonable for a downtown location.

Hotel was located next to Metro, good location for shopping and other tourist sites. Could have had better communication with some staff in English. They did some renovations on our floor which we were unaware of when booking and checking in. This also caused a power outage to our rooms which was quickly resolved. Lovely waitress in restaurant (blonde hair), very nice to everyone in our party. Had great help from two of the car attendants, very nice and thoughtful

Overall, the stay was fine. Room was nice and clean, beds were comfy. I think my only issues were the fact that during my stay there, the street to enter the hotel had lots of construction making it difficult to navigate (however the concierge/valet service was very helpful), and some neighbours were a little noisy and sound carries really well through the hallway door. I don't really consider this to be the hotel's fault, but maybe just something to lookout for.

Booked room for four persons on 11th floor. Room was specious with all major amenities. Room service did not include water bottles. It was our only disappointment. Overall hotel is nice with downtown views.

There is currently a lot of construction going on in Montreal, including in front of the hotel; The hotel itself cannot do anything for this, but the alleged parking and luggage service is more than just poor and in a bad mood (in our case it was nonexistent). The air in the small rooms - although it is cool and windy outside - is sticky and warm. This would be more pleasant with the air conditioning, but it makes such a noise that it is impossible to sleep at night. Although you can actually let it run, because the refrigerator in the room also has such an unreasonable volume that no one can sleep here either. If you pull the plug here, you have at least as long (halfway) quiet until something else is buzzing, buzzing or the elevator is moving ... here too, the noise is inappropriately loud.
Unfortunately, this made our stay in Montreal a sleep deprivation par excellence :-(

It is a very pretty hotel. I had a better experience here than in other Best Western. It's in the heart of the city center and so it's very close to a lot of places. The room was big enough and it was very clean. I encourage you to stay here if you visit Montreal.
Clean room and service ok but no more, at the price of the room there could have been parking and lunch included, check in very very long, room error. A lot of excuse, no discount. It's Montreal's worst city for traffic! Otherwise little coffee attached very good service!

There was no valet service at hotel during my stay due to construction. They drove my car to the side of the building. I had to walk around to the back of the building to my car meters from where I parke lol. Unfortunately it was also raining at the time fml.
Cleaning staff comes into your room eventhough you put the do not distrub sign on the door.
Hallway noise was a big problem. You hear everything and slamming doors was the worst.

I checked in at 10.45pm to find out that the hotel had cancelled my reservation because since I hadn't checked in by 8 pm, they charged my credit card. The credit card was declined (I don't know why) and they decided, without calling me, to cancel the reservation and sell the room to someone else. This made me have to find another room at 10.45pm. They offered to call another Best Western that had a room available but it cost me more than the original room. I asked that they at least priced matched the room and they replied that each Best Western is privately owned and they could not do that. This is really unprofessional and a clear sign of poor management. Never again.

I had an exceptional stay while at this hotel. One of their staff members, Oscar, was very professional and even though I stayed here over a month ago I still remember how kind and helpful he was. I have stayed in many hotels in the area and this one is by far best hotel for it's price in downtown Montreal.
Friendly staff. Good restaurant. No pool and only valet parking
Room was very dirty and after we had checked in we left to go walk around the city when we returned I had noticed that room service had stolen my sweater and the front desk put know effort into helping resolve the problem. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
We go there for a working reception.
The entrees included a small hamburger whose meat was red.
The main dish was dry lamb with crushed white potatoes (fairly flat in the mouth). I was the only one served 5 minutes before everyone at my table.
The dessert was a scoop of ice cream (full of ice crystals and therefore open for quite some time) with a big spoon whose handle everyone was planted in ice cream. A pot of caramel and chocolate melting in the center of each table to "compose his sundae". As a meal and service it was really pocket. I do not find any positive point.

The location is excellent! The room was a bit outdated but clean and spacious, however we could hear some background noise like the central ac and some other guests showering in a nearby room.The main reason I gave it 3/5 stars is that the staff in the lobby, valet service expect you to tip them every time you pass there even though you pay extra $25 per day for your parking and if you don't they make faces and may remind you next time..
Hotel is located in a great area in downtown, near to shops, transport and many restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here 10 years ago service is still epic!! Ive stayed in the hilton the marriot and the hyatt here in montreal and they are the best still! and if your looking for service of a five star hotel even better stay here at the ville marie. there service is absolutely the best in the city.
American style rooms VERY large with all amenities. .. Being in downtown not really busy at night but at the foot of the metro so far from nothing

BW Ville-Marie is very well located in downtown Montreal. This makes it much easier to access museums, theaters and restaurants. The Metro network is two minutes walk. The staff at the front desk and the valets are lovely and very attentive. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and the housekeeping staff regularly renews the equipment that makes the stay pleasant. The cafe-bistro on the ground floor is worth stopping for the quality of the coffee and the choice of delicious fast menus.
Hotel is located in downtown Montreal which is perfect for tourist. Also hotel staff is bilingual and equipped with all required infot6for tourist. Valet parking service is very convenient too. Rooms are very specious and comfortable.
We missed our connecting flight on February 13 travelling to Charlottetown and had to stay the night in Montreal. We called around and every hotel around the airport were fully booked due to the storm there were a lot of cancelled flights. We had no choice than to try for 30minutes away from the hotel. The guy at the reception was very friendly on the phone. By the way while calling around we were referred to this hotel by another hotel s receptionist who used to work here. He didn t have room at his own downtown hotel so he referred us knowing that they had a few rooms available. Check in was smooth, room and bathroom (a deal killer for my wife) were super clean. For the price we paid it was excellent. Hot water came out right away. At departure time we spent some at the cafe downstairs. General ambience, care for patrons including friendliness and helpfulness of staff is probably stay there again.
The rooms were very nice, and the service was excellent. The front desk did not hesitate to help us when we walked out of the room and forgot our key card.
