I checked in at 10.45pm to find out that the hotel had cancelled my reservation because since I hadn't checked in by 8 pm, they charged my credit card. The credit card was declined (I don't know why) and they decided, without calling me, to cancel the reservation and sell the room to someone else. This made me have to find another room at 10.45pm. They offered to call another Best Western that had a room available but it cost me more than the original room. I asked that they at least priced matched the room and they replied that each Best Western is privately owned and they could not do that. This is really unprofessional and a clear sign of poor management. Never again.
