Nice hotel, friendly staff.
Beds with good mattresses and pillows.
Super nice that the window can just open.

Welcoming reception with bread pudding on Pronkjewailpad.

Nice and clean hotel in a very quiet location ... the breakfast buffet was okay .. a little choice in the edition .. otherwise everything you need for breakfast

We had a bongo voucher, stay here overnight. We had a room that we normally pay 4 times more for. Very cozy and quiet. 8km drive and you are in the center. Very friendly staff. And breakfast is also very tasty and plenty of choice. For this price this is definitely a top hotel!

This is our 20th stay here and it never fails to satisfy. The staff are so helpful, the rooms are beautiful and food totally delicious. See you again next year.

Good Hotel. Good beds. It is a pity that the hotel complex is a separate building from the reception and the restaurant. Had to pour through the pouring rain from the reception to our room.

Good food, but busy, but this is also a good sign. And with several restaurant rooms there is always room.

I give 5 stars for the chef (s) and very friendly service! The menu is good, the food is good, carefully prepared and tastes delicious! 1 of the best van der valk (falcon) restaurants I know! It is also almost always full, I suspect, when I get there. Reservations are recommended!
The hotel is good too. Many rooms have since been renovated. Sleep and wake up peacefully. The hotel is in a quiet location near the motorway to the city of Groningen. Free parking.

Mrs. Suze van der Valk is a warm hostess. My 90-year-old mother is always welcomed in the most friendly way.

The young man who served us was a little too much of the popiejopie type.

Very good hotel of the "Van der Valk" hotel group. Friendly staff. It is German spoken. Excellent breakfast buffet. Room very well equipped. Double bed with good mattress, balcony, fridge, shower u. Bathtub, electric log fire.

Enjoyed lunch, had a good dinner and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Van der valk unworthy. Won / bought a night away through a promotion at VakantieVeilingen for around 39. Normally you expect a nice room at a Van der Valk, but here we got the opposite. It was a room in a sort of emergency building made of wood. The beds were bad and always moved apart. It was super noisy and there was an old-fashioned TV of 37 cm. I would rather sleep in a tent, how bad this was.

A beautiful hotel beautiful surroundings nice staff. Nice clean and luxurious rooms, the dog was allowed to bring spacious parking spaces. Good service from the cleaning something was missing in the room was immediately arranged. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, unbelievably cozy room, good selection at breakfast

Enjoyed the Smidspannetje with mushroom sauce, fries, b. potatoes, green beans, cauliflower and salad. For dessert the tasting with strawberries. Delicious.

Clean is different. The towels had stains just like part of the sheets. The joints in the bathroom were partly black. Here I expect significantly more for the price. To get to breakfast you first have to cross the whole parking lot. Quite uncomfortable in winter. The staff was friendly and the restaurant serves good food both in the morning and in the evening. However, it is not enough for more than two stars.

Neat and friendly .... I only have a cozy lounge or bar ..... and there was no music.

Had to wait a long time for our main course, one of the waiters comes to us and offers her apologies and a drink on the house, but because I had just ordered a drink myself, that passed our nose.
When checking out, the bill turned out to be on the high side, it turned out to be the bill from another table.
Apologies were offered but no compensation a bit of a shame

A fairly outdated vd Valk. However, the quality of this family is always good. Clean, large and beautiful rooms. Bathroom somewhat outdated but fine and as said neatly clean. Distance to the center of Groningen is easy to do by car. There is also a bus to the center of Groningen near the hotel. The breakfast was somewhat simple but of quality. Logically, the larger vd Valks also offers a wider range. All in all, a great hotel a short (car) distance from the center of Groningen.

Lovely hotel, great for dogs and very understanding. The affiliated restaurant is great with super organization.
Especially Yordi, behind the bar, knows how to keep things cool despite the crowds and even knows how to have a personal chat with a full house. I used to come here with my grandfather and therefore a success for young and old. Highly recommended! (My wife, Izabella Hettinga wrote this)
